Note, this first part is where the ships are still talking to each other, before Aeden goes over and his ships leave the system.

Umbara, it was a planet of perpetual darkness and gloom. There was little to no light there, and not much of value either. It was a wonder then that the SJO controlled the planet. Now, whatever the reason for them having the planet was irrelevant to Adenn. He didn't care about that in the slightest, only in what he was going to do, and how.
Adenn had been accompanying Aedan prior to Umbara, and had been hoping to learn from the PIrate King by observing him. He knew that he had some fleet experience, but it was nothing compared to the warmaster himself. So he had hoped to watch and learn as some foe or another was attacked. That was all cut short though by the call from Umbara. Not knowing what was so special about Umbara, Adenn had nevertheless offered his services to help in whatever may come. That's why he had reported to the hanger when they had arrived out of hyperspace. There he had joined up with some squadron or another and borrowed a fighter from the ship, planning on fighting whoever it was needed to be fought.
However, upon exiting the ship, Adenn had only seen SJO ships and Mandalorian ships. Either they had been misinformed, or Adenn had not been told of a raid. The second aggravated Adenn more though, because he was always up for a fight. Then came Aedans message, and it began to make sense to Adenn. Someone was trying to blame the UCM, again, and people were believing them. That simply wouldn't do in Adenns mind, so he had prepared himself for combat when more ships came out of hyperspace. They had demanded that Aedans ships power down and all fighters return to their hangers. There was some sort of compromise, and all the ships had begun to return from whence they came.
All except Adenn; for whatever reason, his ship malfunctioned. At first it was only the controls, which caused Adenn to start veering towards the planet, and then it was the engines, suddenly they received a surge of power and exploded. This caused the ship to go into a violent spiral, pressing Adenn against the side of the cockpit and blurring the edges of his vision. Gritting his teeth, Adenn sent out a call to Aedan and whoever else was 'allied.'
"This is comms static going down, engin... comms static ...led. I say... comms static ... engines failed! Crashing on Umbara... comms static ... sorry 'bout the ship. I'll... comms static ...join defense. Adenn... comms static ... out." With that, the transmission broke and Adenn was in the atmosphere.
When the ship hit atmo, it started to burn up because of the speed of its entry. Adenn tried to slow it down using retro thrusters, but that was only slightly successful. At the rate of his descent, and the amount of spinning going on, Adenn didn't know where he was going to hit. But he did know that if he hit, he wouldn't survive. Groaning in slight pain, Adenn punched the emergency release of the cockpit, sending the cover away and into the dark. Adenns seat malfunctioned though, rather than eject as well, it merely released Adenn who was now only stuck to the pilots seat thanks to his magnetic boots.
He deactivated them quickly and shot up into the night sky with a light burst of his jetpack, hoping to get away from his ship. His cloak caught fire on the ships own flames before Adenn was 'safely' away from the ship. There he was caught in a short, timeless, moment of weightlessness. Adenn could see all around, could see the fighting, and could see the city not all that far away. In the next moment, he was falling again, gravity having taken hold, but now he had a place to go. He used his jetpack to slow his decent, but it would still hurt to land. When he did land, it hurt, and it hurt a lot. His knees were jarred and he felt the impact in his spine, but he was alive, and that was all that mattered. At the same time though, there was another explosion in the background, 2 dozen meters from where he had landed. That was his ship, its secondary explosions lighting up the night sky. Ignoring those though, Adenn made his way towards the city, limping slightly, but intent in making it there to receive some help and lend it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Those event had transpired approximately 20 minutes ago, and now Adenn was nearing the cities edge. Somehow he had managed to unintentionally avoid all enemy presence, whether it was false Mandalorians, or the natives. Though he had tried to contact Aedan, nothing had worked and he had been forced to continue his march. His limp was slightly more pronounced now, but Adenn could set it aside if need be. Suddenly a tide of civilians rounded the corner, running from blaster fire, and upon seeing him, they fled from him too. Assuming it was because of his Mandalorian armor, Adenn turned to face that direction where the shots were coming from. He had one hand on his westar 35, and another ready to draw his carbine at a moments notice.
The fake Mandalorians rounded the corner as a squad, they gunned down some remaining civilians before focusing on Adenn. They were sizing each other up, with the fakes aiming their weapons at him. No words were spoken, but suddenly they left, just rushed off in another direction. Feeling frustrated, Adenn pulled out his pistol and shot at them, killing one, and wounding another. The fake Mandos left the wounded one behind, seemingly not realizing what had happened before charging off towards fighting, and towards [member="Coren Starchaser"] and [member="Cotan Sar'andor"].
Adenn stopped by the wounded Mandalorian, looking down at him. Then he asked the question that had been asked so often in time, that would still be asked long after he was gone.
"Why?"
The wounded Mando seemed to pause in his struggles to stay alive, hand instead sliding to his waist, secretly, hidden. He spoke then, voice filled with righteousness and anger, along with some false sense of pride.
"Because we are the new age, and this is but the beginning. Even if I don't live to see it, I find solace that you shall not either." With that, the man pulled the thermal detonator out of his waist band and let go of it.
Adenn didn't have more than a second to react, and that was barely any time at all. As soon as those words left his mouth, Adenn jumped back using his jetpack, it was almost fast enough. The explosion from the grenade destroyed the man and flung Adenn backwards against a wall. Shrapnel pinged off of his armor, some digging into his undersuit and slightly cutting Adenn. He ignored that pain though, instead focusing on what he could do, and blocked out all else.
Dragging himself up, Adenn noted that smoke was now coming off of his armor, and that he was angry, very angry. Giving one last contemptuous look to the di'kutla Mandalorian, Adenn made his way towards where the squad had run off to. He hoped to exact some form of revenge against them for what their comrade had done, and hoped that he'd be able to get some help as well.
Using his now dinged jetpack, Adenn flew after them, nearing them quickly. Whether they saw him or not was irrelevant, for a moment later they turned the corner onto the street where some Jedi([member="Coren Starchaser"] and [member="Cotan Sar'andor"]) were fighting more Mandalorians. They were about to engage the enemy when an explosion ripped through their ranks. That was from a rocket courtesy of Adenns wrist rocket launcher. Smiling grimly, Adenn opened up on them, shooting at the fake Mandalorians accurately, ripping into their ranks.
Once that squad was dealt with, Adenn turned his attention to the others attacking the civvies and Jedi. Grunting again in pained annoyance, Adenn opened up on them as well, aiming so that no stray bolts could possibly hit the Jedi or civvies. That wouldn't do, then he'd be stuck in with these aruetiise, probably would be anyways, but rather safe than sorry. Whenever the impostors would finally be defeated, Adenn would jump down from his perch on the roof. He had set up shop there to deal with these fools, and whenever they were done for, it would mean he could get some medical help.
With that thought in mind, Adenn would begin walking towards the Jedi. Any civvies still in the area naturally cowed away from him, he too wore Mandalorian armor, and they had just been attacked by Mandalorians, even if fake ones. Taking another step, Adenn grunted in pain as he noticed a wound on his side. Placing his hand there to keep pressure on it, he holstered his weapons while quickly applying some bacta. Grunting again as it set in, Adenn looked up towards the Jedi. Currently his armor had smoke coming off of him, it was also scorched black in places, just leaving some faint red markings behind, and the Mandalorian Mythosaur skull was proudly emblazoned on his left shoulder with Clan Mortuis skull symbol on his right. Adenn nodded his head slightly to the Jedi, waiting to let them make the first move. He was tired and injured, but he could still put up a fight.
