"I believe I have a suitable route,"

Valery nodded and studied it for a moment before she nodded in acknowledgment. There hadn't been any doubt that he'd figure it out, and he even took into account different forms of danger. Avoiding the dangers of the main city by going through gang territory wouldn't exactly have helped them, after all. "Very good, I'll download this map into my vambrace. So if you need to verify something along the way, we have it with us."

Cities changed all the time, and unforeseen circumstances could force them down different paths. But no matter what happened, they would be prepared to adapt.

Jand then moved away to get changed into something that would help keep him concealed, and Valery did something similar. She wrapped a cloak around herself that kept eyes away from her easily distinguishable outfit, and it helped conceal her lightsaber in the process as well.

"I am ready. We exit, then head west for three blocks, before going northwest."

"Very good, let's go," Valery said before she left the ship behind and moved through the spaceport until they reached the streets of the capital city. From there, she followed his instructions and began to move west. Her pace was fairly quick, but not enough to draw the attention of those around them. As a former Shadow, she knew how to move, how to behave, and how to respond to unpredictable situations quickly to avoid trouble.

Soon enough, they would hear the first signs of something peculiar — marching bands and hundreds of feet walking synchronized like it was some kind of military parade. It came from closer to the center, but images of it were being displayed on monitors everywhere. "It seems they've gotten quite a following already," Valery said before looking at Jand. In her mind, it only meant one thing — this was going to be a quick hit to take them out, before leaving.

There was no room for capturing or negotiations.

Jand remained close to the Jedi Master.

The interior of the city complex was surprising. Perhaps Jand had expected a lot of artificial patchwork or ceiling plating, but the space above was filled with a natural seeming sky, likely the work of display holo-panels. It gave the impression of a natural sky, which made the confined properties of the city far more bearable.

Along the way, Jand maintained observation of Master Noble. He kept pace, he mimicked her mannerisms, and tried to remain as casual and unobtrusive as she. The experience as a Jedi Shadow was obvious, as even with Jand's amateur attempts, the pair were seemingly on the way to avoiding most notice.

Focused on the civilians around, Jand's attention was brought to the monitors and displays by the Jedi Master.

"Yes, the hold they have on this population seems considerable," Jand noted, as he connected the dots mentally. "It appears this was a fortunate time to perform this task."

Based on what had been shared about the situation, Jand was quick to surmise that the Sith had moved quickly, likely influencing multiple highly positioned individuals within the city. If there were parades and crowd adoration, it remained that the allowance of further control would begin to make the Sith targets far more difficult to approach. As it was, perhaps they might already have been... but that didn't dissuade Jand from the purpose, nor did it make him question the Jedi Master, he would do what was required.

That said, the parade did provide an unknown variable, especially when a smaller celebratory crowd appeared ahead and brought the flow of citizens to a stop.

Jand thought back to the map.

"We can take that alleyway," Jand said in a low voice, as he motioned with his head, toward an opening to the left. "It should allow us to bypass the disruption."

Maintaining his casual pace and demeanor, Jand prepared to follow Master Noble...
