When the Confederacy of Independent Systems proclaimed the Confederacy First Mandate and withdrew their military presence in neighboring systems and territories in favor of patrolling and policing their own backyard which had come under attack in recent months; the Galaxy as a whole seemed to lose its collective mind. With worry about how five of the six major Hyperlane corridors crossed through CIS Territory, and how could trade continue to flow to the systems beyond, it seemed people had overlooked a simple secret to getting around the Confederacy First Mandate.
That secret was the dreaded Passport.
The Confederacy of Independent Systems Multi-Pass is a passport that can easily be acquired at most galactic border crossings leading into Confederacy Territory. These Multi-Passes come in three variants. A standard month transit pass, a Standard three-year Non-Resident/Non-Corporate Entity Pass, and a Standard five-year pass. The passes themselves are relatively cheap and easy to come by, with the One-Month transit pass costing around Thirty Credits, while the Five-Year pass costs roughly One-Hundred and Ten Credits. Each pass contains a series of Electronic Security Features that designate it an authentic pass; though some intrepid individuals have found their way to mirror or otherwise defeat the scanners searching for these features. This was lead to the emergence of counterfeit passes which can be purchased from less than reputable individuals - and being caught with one will carry its own steep penalty.
Of course, the worst part of obtaining one of these passes is the Paperwork. However, don't fret, one of our helpful Border Crossing agents - such as Azid stationed along the Hylian Way - are more than willing and capable of assisting you through the required paperwork to get you on your way.
