While the Confederacy First Mandate specified that Residents and Corporate Entities would not need to obtain a Multi-Pass to travel freely through Confederacy Space; the CIS Multi-Pass: Enhanced was developed as an optional asset for Corporate Entities.
The CMP: E allows for faster processing at any Confederacy Border crossing and confers a number of benefits, which include the following. Access to weigh stations and other such amenities along established hyperlanes. Access to the Confederacy Emergency Network - which is ceaselessly monitored to dispatch aid to distressed vessels both within and adjacent to Confederacy Space. As well as temporary residence status within Confederate space based on the specific pass obtained, per entrance.
While it is an optional asset for Corporate Entities; there are some downsides - just as there are with the standard Multi-Pass. The most prevalent ones being that the CMP: E is only available to Corporate Entities, and is thus not available to the standard public. Likewise, the CMP: E is a bit more expensive, with the standard pass clocking in around One-Hundred and Ten Credits and the Five-Year pass clocking in around Three-Hundred and Twenty Credits. Likewise, the CMP: E can still be counterfeited by the more unscrupulous and experienced individuals - with the cost of such likely being much higher than the standard amount.
However, it should also be noted, that even those individuals without access to the CMP: E will still have access to the Confederacy Emergency Network via standard distress signals, both within and adjacent to Confederacy Space.
