Well right now this is what is in your sub. No where does it mention the ability to produce armstech. (firearms and such)

If you are exploring a new venture, then yes, as armstech isn't in your operations, it will need a development thread branching out into it.

Operations: Production of Tech, Small vehicles, starships, and small numbers of clones.

Rationale: After the creation of a droid task force by Hegemonic Automaton, Ultimatum decided to use them to open a facility on Mustafar, where metals needed to build robotics were relatively plentiful. Due to their nature as droids, he was able to employ them at collecting metals without fear of heat, except near the lava and molten metal. He had specially built droids from the locals bought in order to collect the metal that his droids could not. He had a small outpost built with the capability to produce nothing larger than a small anti-personal tank, due to constraints placed on him monetarily and time wise.

Description: Ultimatum founded the company mostly for the production of robotic bodies for his own use. Specifically he intends on the bodies to be made specialized for singular goals rather than generic capabilities. He also intended it to be a producer of relatively small tech that could be used in case of danger. He made certain that the company would be relatively hidden from the majority of the galaxy. He sees each planet as important resources, not to be drained frivolously, as such he prefers to make any material collection within a sustainable rate. In the cases that sustainable resources are not possible, metals and other such, he tries to avoid collecting large quantities and then not using it. He prefers to keep the company under the radar, however if people find out about it he would be willing to create small pieces of technology. All droids who work there are under the command of Ultimatum via the Ultimatum Replacement Program making their loyalty solely to him.

Tier: 4

Description:
A small company created to equipment jedi with useful equipment needed in the field for battle, negotiations and exploration. Utilizing the Explorer's corp a group of padawan's who have failed to find a master and the other researchers in the order. Together they worked on making safer and more durable equipment the jedi could use and that Republic soldiers could benefit from if they wish it. Then some good fortune struck for the group when the message from the ancient Je'daii world led them to the ancient structure built to mirror the ancient Prism.

Since then the group has churned out new equipment as needed for battles with enemies of freedom and the lightside. Providing information as needed and creating a new Expeditionary suit for jedi to use in exploring and fights if needed. The rare and hard to find Murr earrings that while fashionable aren't easily made. When the silver jedi order formed Matsu was contacted to make items discreetly and worked to create the synthetic silver crystals they could use for their sabers. Then slowly worked on custom robes to provide them a distinct image.

The expeditionary suits useful in providing until a proper robe can be fashioned protection for them. Several more products created for the members of the order and others upon request. The researcher teams moving around and working setting up varies labs and areas to work on research and development. First on Zygerria and Voss, then moving to Malchor, Mayferria and setting up a main station on Shri-Tal. Matsu's work and thoughts to get to worlds like Almania, Toola, Vaynai and Raxus gave her hope for what it could become in the end.

Then slowly as time went on, the jedi knight Bellalika looking to change up and focus on her studies worked with Matsu, to put her company to use with the jedi as it brought its research divisions and some of its locations to her. Combining the two companies working to make things for the jedi and force orders as it came to be expanded. With hard work and a dedication to providing honest practices to its people. Matsu was glad to see that they might be able to work and create a brighter future. The future of Sasori Reseach and Development was looking brighter as they began looking at mining operations.

The company itself slowly expanding but not aggressively, they weren't something that needed to be seen or felt in the galaxy. If people wanted their things then they would see the people got it and building ways to access it across the galaxy became important. Small storefronts and warehouses slowly started springing up in makeshift areas offering to take scrap and junk from both people and the companies. The companies direction of recycle becoming a mantra as they could make millions of products but companies came and went while junk and garbage collectors stayed eternal.

Corporation Name: Ke’dem
Headquarters: Jurgoran Prison on Dromund Kaas (secret)
Locations: The Shrine of Krul on Balowa, various mobile locations
Operations: Paramilitary/acquisitions contractor, alchemy (sideline)
Rationale: After the One Sith captured and tortured her wife, Ashin Varanin went from penniless, grumpy, has-been hermit to something an awful lot angrier. Ashin has trained many, many people in the ways of the Force. Some of them remember her. Others have been recruited during raids on Sith facilities. Resources have generally come from raids also, such as the one on Odacer-Faustin, though some resources were provided through Ashin’s longstanding relationship with the Archivist, Dissero. Ultimately, there are an awful lot of angry people who have no love at all for the Sith, primarily the One. It is from this pool of potential supporters that Ashin has drawn her recruits -- and her backers. Turns out startup capital and fence services are stunningly easy to procure when you have a grudge against the same people that everyone else hates and fears.

Note: the name Ke’dem means ‘condemned’ or ‘fallen’, and is the Corellian term for ‘Dark Jedi.’

Tier: 3
Description:

BUSINESS MODEL

At Tier 3, Ke’dem depends on a good-sized, mobile raiding force designed to hit outlying Sith temples and comparable sites, exterminate what needs exterminating, and acquire both recruits and materials. Ke’dem makes its money via resale of the acquired assets. Sometimes that means auctioning rare objects, expensive personal ships, trophies, and so forth. Other times it means Force-severing especially depraved or irritating Sith acolytes and selling them to slavers. Still other times, it means acquiring the particulars of various Sithlings’ private fortunes (they all have one these days). The general business model hinges upon picking targets whose assets and people might be of use as well as of worth; for this reason, Ke’dem affiliates are urged to choose Dark Side targets over Light Side. But, like much of what Ke’dem does, that’s more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules.

Though Ke’dem often picks its own raiding targets, it frequently contracts with local citizens’ associations, interested businesspersons, political rivals, secret cabals, and other people who might be willing to cough up some cash for the vicious, potentially anonymous, elimination of a Force-related threat. It also attempts to keep good relationships with Marrow & Illskins, the Coldharbour mobile bazaar, and various auction houses (primarily on Contruum). Alchemy is a minor sideline. Though Ashin is a moderately competent alchemist in some respects, Ke’dem’s alchemical creations vary widely in frequency and ambition; they are incidental to the process, except insofar as they facilitate better raids or make a lot of money. Generally, Ke’dem prefers to turn to specialists for its alchemical needs. Ke’dem seeks working relationships with guilds, associations, and lone alchemists, and access to Ke’dem’s immense hoard of bits and bobs is part of the appeal. At least, that’s the idea.

ORGANIZATION

Ke’dem employs some associate subcontractors, such as Mandalorian mercenaries, and its employee base is in a constant state of renewal. Qo’saarai tuk’ata are fairly common, as are representatives of species with good reason to hate the One Sith and their progenitors: Togorians, Mon Calamari, Wookiees, Selkath and so forth. Force-sensitives on the Ke’dem payroll generally range from neutral to very dark indeed. Ke’dem prefers Dark Jedi, but recognizes that the terms ‘Sith’ and ‘Dark Jedi’ mean all sorts of things to all sorts of people and furthermore overlap like crazy. The institutional culture of Ke’dem is derived from the Lords of the Fringe, in that there are few rules. Atrocities will get you fired or, possibly, executed. That’s about it. Frankly, though, that puts Ke’dem about half an ethical step above your average PMC these days, so most people don’t complain too often. Participation, especially material contributions, raids, and personal achievement, is commemorated with the same forearm tattoos once used by the Secret Order of the Emperor. Trust me: you don’t want to go down a grade.

Ke’dem attempts to serve as a brotherhood and an association, not highly regimented. Drawing from the flat operational hierarchy of the Underground -- an organization with which Ashin has crossed blades and collaborated -- Ke’dem is not structured like a vanity project. (That its existence has a great deal to do with Ashin’s unshakable hubris is constructed as being beside the point.) Drawing from her long experience as a founder and Arbiter of the Fringe, not to mention Sith Empress, Ashin plays a role in evicting problematic employees, and recruiting new ones. Otherwise, she generally delegates, and many decisions taken by Ke’dem at various levels do not stem from her. Granted, at Tier 3, there isn’t much complexity to Ke’dem’s decision-making structure apart from ‘found another academy; let’s torch it and sell what’s left.’ Good times.

Then we get to the important part: the take. Special prizes generally get kept by those who earned them, and the rest gets split up so everyone gets a full share. A good chunk also goes toward operational expenses -- fuel, ammunition, and so forth. At Tier 3, Ke’dem works more or less like a pirate/salvager crew so far as profits go, though quasi-independent groups do many of their own jobs and keep most of their own take.

LOCATIONS

Jurgoran - The secret heart of Ke’dem, accessible to few (and generally only after travel with a blindfold and a ysalamir), is a lair inside the catacombs of Jurgoran Prison. Jurgoran, a forgotten locale, comprises miles of tunnels buried under a temple/crypt like any other. Its quasi-functional prison regions are patrolled by terentateks that even the strongest members of Ke’dem avoid. The catacombs are also home to cannibals, and at least one deep crypt contains an alchemy chamber where Seydon of Arda was once transformed. Ke’dem controls a fluctuating portion of the immense, ancient prison, sometimes recruiting from the prisoners. Ke’dem also tries to keep a working relationship with the nearby post-apocalyptic settlements of Hythe Park (a former Kaas City suburb run by Commander Adraste Boudica (Codex NPC)) and Dinora (a much smaller town near the ancient slave camps). ‘Don’t defecate where you masticate’ is the order of the day.

However, the Jurgoran location is only a fallback point and a secret coordination base. Most Ke’dem operations are run offworld through mobile, ad hoc raiding crews and waystations. Ke’dem employees know there’s a secret sanctum in the old Sith worlds, and they generally know someone who knows someone who got to go there once. The main reason for this secrecy, apart from the obvious, is that Dromund Kaas is owned by Kaine Zambrano on behalf of the Primeval, and his quarantine and the Saiba terraforming efforts will mess you up. Suffice it to say, infrequent traffic to and from Jurgoran -- a forgotten and wholly underground location -- is managed via stealth ships and other surreptitious means. Once more, ‘do not defecate where you masticate’ is the paramount principle.

Shrine of Krul - Ke’dem also possesses a monstrous collection of Dark Side-related odds and ends, the junk drawer of Dissero’s personal archive plus the detritus of the Fringe and the spoils of many raids. Shelves and boxes overflow with half-finished manuscripts, slightly busted datacrons, assorted training toys, and trivia with dubious connections to historical figures. Though you’ll never find grand treatises on the Ultimate Powers of the Dark Side, there’s plenty of worth in the accumulated dross for the ambitious and dedicated student. The collection of excellent junk is split between various ships, Jurgoran Prison, and the Shrine of Krul on Balowa -- a wonderful if somewhat Spartan locale.

The Shrine of Krul is a remote, obscure, unimpressive Dark Side nexus, comprised of a massive Greater Calama shell at the bottom of a swampy lake. Since being rediscovered and abandoned by Darth Kryptus and Rave Merrill, the Shrine of Krul has remained secret and ignored for years. The surrounding lake and forest are heavily tainted by the Dark Side, and haunted and so forth. It’s delightful. Convenient, too, as Balowa is just down the Mara Corridor from Dromund Kaas. Ke’dem employees often test themselves against the twisted creatures of the area, practicing for combat against nastier things. Most of the creatures are left alive to keep up the illusion that the lake is as it always was.

Further Plans - At Tier 3, plans for greater things are in the offing. Ke’dem employees are well aware, for example, that Ashin stole the heart of the Odacer-Faustin Sith Academy some years back. That raid yielded thousands of tons of stone imbued with the memory of Darksiders slaughtering Darksiders. Likewise, raiding a moon in the Shri-Tal system produced large quantities of genuinely Dark dirt. And for that matter, the galaxy is full of half-forgotten Dark Side temples and academies, most built within the last couple of decades. Ke’dem may yet find a good solid base of operations. Or, you know, several.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Ke’dem associates, employees, and subcontractors frequently provide their own attire, armour, weapons, etc. Some raids require disguise. Others require shock and awe. Thus, there is no company dress code.

For some operations and appearances, Ke’dem provides its people with optional, high-end uniforms, purchased from corporations that specialize in such things. Ke’dem people frequently modify those uniforms, and a ritualistic, grunge, or cyberpunk edge is not out of place so far as ornamentation goes.

In most professional circumstances, Ke’dem prefers its people to dress in a way that inspires respect and nervousness, but not outright terror. But again, these are suggestions, not rules. Apart from ‘atrocities get you fired,’ Ke’dem isn’t big on rules. Its collective purpose generally keeps its people on the same course, and when sparks fly, the big picture still dominates.

Subsidiaries:
 • Shule's Workshop (Tier 1) - Though the Workshop is somewhat diminished now, as most Jal Shey don't approve of the course that Ashin is taking, some darker-leaning Jal Shey and various other employees remain on. Others have left for the Silver Sanctum or taken up permanent residence on Yavin IV. The remaining employees and assets provide some crafted items for Ke'dem, and explore creative arts apart from standard Sith alchemy. While these terms of inclusion are something of a bastardization of the Workshop's original intent, Ashin is in no mood for compromise.

Corporation Name: Clan Rekali

Headquarters: Yavin IV (secretly the Lost City of the Jedi, officially Port Shardrock)

Locations:
GORDIAN REACH AND ENVIRONS

OTHER LOCATIONS
 • Generis
 • Kathol Sector (throughout)
 • Kathol Outback (throughout)

Operations: Private security/acquisitions, Corusca gem mining, starship refit and construction, gas prospecting.

Rationale: The Yavin system has been the Rekali clan's center of operations for the better part of a decade. The clan father, Ember Rekali (NPC, former PC) -- noted Witch elder, bounty hunter, and long-retired Jedi Master -- has been quietly consolidating and formalizing clan assets ever since. Alec Rekali, his granddaughter, is being groomed toward leading the clan at some point in the probably-distant future. The clan’s operations have expanded with an eye to unimpeded force projection throughout the Gordian Reach and the Kathol territories.

Tier: V

Description: The Rekali clan uses the Yavin system as its primary base of operations, and holds primary responsibility for the system's security. Port Shardrock, on Yavin IV, is the main Rekali spaceport, serving both clan patrol forces and Corusca gem divers. The clan includes a fleet of affiliated gem diving craft, as well as extensive combat capabilities (commensurate with company tier fleet rules). The long-term inclusion of Shardrock Clan, the Rekali-led group of semi-apostate Dathomiri witches, has given the larger Rekali clan a disproportionate amount of mildly to moderately skilled Force-users. Apart from combat functions, the Rekali witches are known to use weather magic on the atmosphere of Yavin Prime to increase effective Corusca gem yields by a respectable margin. Another factor has been the inclusion of numerous Vahla wanderers and apostates. The Clan’s numbers have also grown thanks to refugees from Generis and Phu.

The Rekali clan forces provide private security solutions and undertake high-risk acquisitions, often involving bounty postings that offer rewards for industrial assets and large-scale structural change. On one occasion they stole an artificial moon and sold it for several billion credits. Suffice it to say, the Rekali clan does not lack for operational capital.

The Rekali clan maintains a secure facility and safe port on Dathomir. The Sanctuary, located near Shardrock Village, offers the clan warriors and contractors a massive and well-protected port facility. The facility is capable of refitting, repairing, and even constructing starships, to a limited degree. Clan Rekali vessels, at least those built by the clan, are uniformly constructed with red havod hulls.

A comprehensive shipyard exists in the Yavin system, orbiting not far from Yavin Prime. This shipyard is capable of building capital vessels and is well-defended by any measure. It is one of the clan's major points of hyperwave signal interceptor installation, giving the Yavin system advance warning of incoming hostiles. Advance hyperspace warning systems also feed back from throughout the Gordian Reach, the area which immediately surrounds Yavin.

A Rekali clan defensive base exists on the planet Vjun, in the ruined and partially rebuilt city of Bitter End. Bast Castle has also been repaired and refitted as a starfighter waypoint and monitoring station. A Ranger transceiver gives Bast Castle the ability to monitor the region and help give advance warning to the Yavin system from several key hyperroutes.

Rekali advances in hyperspace technology, particularly in the realm of S-thread boosters, coupled with a strong Clan tradition of instinctive astrogation, have allowed the Clan to open the Roil to exploration and exploitation. Clan waystations, sometimes cut off for weeks or months at a time, form networks throughout the most dangerous regions of the Roil and the nearby, similarly lethal Denarii Nebula. The waystations provide some refining and manufacturing capabilities for the Clan, semi-private, and private mining/prospecting crews that risk their necks to be the first to exploit these regions. Initial logistical support for the Roil expansion was provided by the refitted Jovan Station, which lies directly between the Roil and Yavin. However, the Roil assets are designed to be self-sufficient once put in place, making Jovan beneficial but not crucial.

Comparable strategies are used in the equally lethal Kathol Sector and Kathol Outback, where Rekali sources, agents, caches, and comms networks were put in place by Alec Rekali over the course of an eighteen-month mission. The Clan is on excellent terms with the Kathol Republic and has a good working relationship with various other planets and governments in the region (though the Clan has crossed the Qektoth on several occasions.) Thanks to the Clan’s extensive network of transmitters and informants, as well at the Kathol territories’ paucity of route options, the Clan is well positioned to monitor essentially all traffic to Demonsgate and the Aing-Tii homeworld. Force projection capabilities are moderate; getting from Kal’Shebbol to Demonsgate, after all, takes around six months with a good hyperdrive and a solid navigator. Between the secret Kathol assets and those in the Roil (many of which are secret as well, at various levels), the Clan is assured of being impossible to root out and annihilate, should worse come to worst.

Tier: Tier II

Description: A relatively small company, ORR was sponsored by Phenex (its parent corporation) and Arceneau Trade Company. ORR housed Phenex Industries manufacture of resource production material as well as providing over sight and administration to the few mines the company runs. This limited scope of operations allowed for few required locations and low overhead costs as nearly all their production is on an at-need basis to fill existing contracts. Currently Outer Rim Resources is contracted to supply ATC and MTF with the necessary equipment and facilities to mine and process Tibanna and other precious materials as well as provide replacement parts on Sleheyron. Domino also took this opportunity to fold a recently created private phrik mine into the company to help ease the flow of material to and from the site.

Outer Rim Resources had been considered a subsidiary despite being privately owned by Domino as it worked under the Phenex banner and was closely tied to it financially, paying rent for equipment and taking direction from them when required. However Domino broke the company off from Phenex when she sold the parent company and now runs it independently as a supplier of raw materials and supplies throughout the Outer Rim.

TEMPLATE:

Company: Corona Service & Salvage, Inc.
Modification Made:
 • Tier 1 to Tier 2
 • Location Addition: Lehon
Rationale: Through growth, expansion, and publicity, the company can finally come out of its shell

Pertinent Development Threads:
Under Pressure - Contract signed for Longterm Salvage Service, shipment of droids in bulk, expansion of variety of IC equipment to use in building a larger variety of items (Originally restricted to low military-grade items, example being the creation of UUD-1 and the UUD Backpack). Contract with Sasori Research as per [member="Matsu Ike"] [Ongoing]
Bounty Turned Opportunity - I believe this counts, as before the company could not grow at all with the owner having a bounty on their head. With no more bounty, growth and expansion can be made without fear. [Ongoing]
Soldier Lost, Transmission Found - Private roleplay, but exposure to the Republic more, giving the company its own element. [Ongoing]

Under the careful watch of Darth Erebos's eyes, the corporation is mainly a ship manufacturer but also dabbles in research and development of new weapons, armor and defense technologies as well as technologies in other fields. It is mainly a manufacturing company intended on furthering trade and creativity throughout the galaxy. It is open to custom submissions from everyone but one must contact Darth Erebos to file in the request.
When it comes to resources it doesn't waste anything as it uses everything it is given or orders, should a world be inhospitable were they'd have a mine they would grind the planet for all it's worth, however should there be life on the planet it will be careful about it's operations to preserve as much as they can.
