- Cohesive: Thanks to the better core used for these models, they are capable of more impressive tactical achievements and more expert actions both in a group of their own model, solitary, but also when taking command over older models of the same lineage of ZMD droids, allowing for units working with or under this droid to rival even the best sentient, biological counterparts.
- High Resistances: High resistances to EMP|ION weaponry, elemental surroundings such as heat and cold and a very high resistance against blaster bolts and energy based weaponry make these droids a fearsome opponent and a very reliable partner in practically any situation, which accompanied by their intelligence and large database makes them ideally suited for practically any terrain.
- Impressive shielding: With a built in PS-1 and PS-2eks system in each of these droids, they are nearly unstoppable as a fighting force, capable of shrugging off most of the common weaponry used by many a navy and army that would be unfortunate to encounter these droids in battle.
- No acid resistance: Though Corrosive weaponry is not a common weapon, it is still used and is capable of seriously damaging and disrupting these droids' internal systems. This also makes corrosive atmospheres and surroundings such as sulpherous lakes a less viable terrain for droids of this type.
- Heavy Frame: Though flexible and capable of moving rapidly, these droids are heavy and transporting them in large numbers would demand capable ships and vehicles, as they are rated to be weighing about the same as two to three humans of average build for each single droid. This also means they aren't suited for combat on less stable footing and underground such as trees, dilapitated rooftops, etc.
- Poisonous parts: This droid has a lot of parts which are extremely poisonous, making it hard for anyone to do any quick repairs on the battlefield, this also means that when the core is damaged, extraction of it to obtain information is quite hard for anyone that isn't an expert engineer and knowledgeable on the used materials.
To fully introduce the NZ Theta-type Modular Droid frame as a viable frame for any kind of droid that be put into dangerous and strenuous situations and to also extol the capabilities of the latest ATLAS Mk I High Efficiency Droid Brain | AI it became apparent that Nargath Holdings, as a subsidiary to the larger N&Z Umbrella Corporation needed a flkagship or halo droid model that could be sold on the open market rather than being shipped off in small quantities like the small semi-unique models intended fo several dignitaries.
It was to this end that the company decided upon several parameters to truly have a droid on their hands that could showcase the company and by extension the entire conglomorate's potential to build droids of supreme capacity and quality both on and off the battlefield. One of the first parameters upon which had been decided was to keep production limited, allowing for the use of more expensive and higher quality material. It was because of this, that the company's engineers made a request to try and approach other companies for suitable materials which could further enhance the droids capacities and structural integrity. The choice had been made and a successful negotiation with Roble Manufacturing Lead to the use of the shock absorbent gel they produced and a coating of Liquid-aenite for each of the individual droids.
The second parameter was a varied use on any battlefield. To this end, it was decided by the engineers to use the SACG-23S Shock-Absorbent Gel from roble manufacturing in the droid servos and join systems to allow for better and more fluid movement, while also adding the NZ MAM Jet Maneuvring Gear to compliment these additions and to give the droids impressive movement speed, the ability to perform high jumps, gliding descents and more, making them to be comparable to any and all elite shocktroopers in the galaxy and even superior to many of the already impressive ZMD and ZMDII models in the company's range.
Furthermore, the final parameter was to have this droid be the representation of a one man army, to this end, the engineers kept the capacity of the Atlas droid brain at its maximum, allowing for it to control and command ZEUS and ZEUS Mk II cores efficiently in combat, but also added on a large database of weapons, hand to hand combat, strategic actions and so forth, allowing for the ZMDII-C5 to utilize practically any known weapon in the galaxy.
The cherry on top was the fact that the engineers built in both the PS-1 and PS-2eks shield systems in this droid, to further optimize its use on the battlefield and its capacity to survive the most hostile of environments.
