Oddball

This is what happens when you tap the glass
"Okay guys! Let's keep this clean! Afterward we're going out for face masks and fizzle pops!" Jumping down from the transport oddball grabbed his pack and rifle moved to his squad so he could keep up with them. Though the dust storm would make hbkngs hard for him to keep comms up with. "DAMN YOU SAND!!" Oddball sighed then looked around trying to figure out how he was going to keep the comms online during this storm

Calico raised a gauntleted hand up toward his team. He motioned on down the side of the city; and took off at a dead sprint. The other gunships had begun to offload troops; and they were starting to take fire. His 'Deece' was set to fully automatic, and he motioned for Galaar, Jackpot, and Isley to follow--by extension Phoebe.

"Keep up comms. When that dust storm really hits we'll be on silence." He could see the flashing lights of the Hutt palace now. It was about half a click. Calico burst into the city through a side street, shoving his way through wandering vagrants until he stood across the street from the palace. The heavy booms of club music seemed to make the ground vibrate. Calico's special handpicked squad, Sigma, circle around him and dropped to their knees--invisible save for their flowing blue visors with their pitch black armor.

"Quite a few guards sir." Toph--Sigma's Sergeant mumbled. His helmet had two long red stripes; the only thing discerning him from the rest of Sigma. "Maybe the jet'ii can help with that?" This issues a grunting laugh from Sigma's sniper.

Civilians were starting to clear out, they knew what was coming. The guards hadn't seen them yet, but they were on alert. One of the other gunships had started to take fire after all. "Nice idea. Ga'ika, move your fat shebs. You're drinking too much caf. Colonel, you might be able to get that gate...where's Jackpot?"
The Commander stood behind the side of a motley yellow bricked building, staring down the dirt road at the massive ornately made gates of the palace. "

Scythe followed Oddball. "Face masks and...you know what, I don't what to know." She decided, cutting herself off. "Let's just go."
"Probably a good idea." Nine pointed out, snickering. "Good luck, eka."
Bluejay sighed. Okay. This is going to be pretty interesting...ah well. We're all pretty damaged. She decided, with only a few degrees of sarcasm in her thoughts.

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
Galaar did shift it and moved forward toward the gate, his Verpine still drawn and ready. It had five shots and the first one was an explosive bolt. He took cover right up against one of the archway's being pointman in general. He spoke over his comms to Sigma's sniper. "Bet I can stack more kills, di'kut... I put creds on it actually."

He looked down the road with his Blue T-Shaped visor glowing in the stir of dust throughout the area.

The dust storm loomed on the horizon and time was of the essence. As such, the Mandalorian joined his subordinate in racing forth through the streets of the city, until they navigated through a side alley and into the main avenue. Coming to a halt, Isley noticed that a gate obstructed their path; and that the guards were on alert. Shots had not been fired in their direction yet, as they had not yet been spotted, but that was about to change. "On it." said the Mandalorian simply, as he strode boldly forward ahead of his "sibling". Reaching out with the Force, he then shoved a telekinetic wall of tremendous strength into the gate that obstructed their path; sending it skidding across the ground. Of course, this drew the attention of the guards, and Isley drew forth his lightsaber before guiding the presence of the Force to his limbs. This empowered his movement, allowing him to move with immense speed as he sprinted towards the front line of guards.

"Brevity Code is....LEEEERRROOOOOYYYYYY JEEEENNNKKKIIIIINNNNNNSSSSSS!!!!!" he roared over the open comm, signaling the Dread Guard to commence a forward assault on the enemy. With his blood crimson blades ignited, Isley then cut down the first of the enemy, before deflecting waves of blaster fire with relative ease.

"Leroy Jenkins," Bluejay muttered, "is not brief. Or at least not how you said it." She amended, scanning the area, noting the sand, and giving up as the visibility dropped to useless levels. Stupid sandstorm.

Kage floats over the palace for a moment. He keeps an eye on the ground forces, then moves over the Dread Guards entrance. He swoops low over the guards, and fires a steady stream of lasers. "Clearing your entrance. Most I can do unless you want me to blow a hole in the ceiling." He smiles a bit. That would be interesting, specially if he could shoot a missile at the hutt.

As soon as the LAAT landed Jackpot moved out. He didn't hear much of what his superior was saying, but he did hear, and see, that there was a dust storm coming. Jackpot didn't really care about that, it would just mean he would get to kill more people inside of buildings, where there was more stuff to blow up and destroy, rather than outside, where there were only a couple blow up-able things. He heard their enemies and saw the Hutt palace and its lights. He heard his commander call for him, but by then he was already running towards the main gate. He saw the Mandalorian Sith run towards the line of enemies and shout something, so he opened up fire and mowed down a couple of Hutt troops before they even noticed what was going on.

The explosions shook the whole city. The rave lights all seemed to die at the exact same time. The music all died too, and the palace went quiet. Bolts of heavy weapons fire skewered the darkened skies as they flew toward the Commandos' position. Sigma opened up on the palace: lobbing grenades, heavy ordnance from their DC-17s, and picking off guards mounted on tripods with their snipers. The team was completely silent; the perfect squad.

"Keep their heads down Sigma! Jackpot, Galaar, move on in!" Calico roared; sprinting across the street. Tart-Cart's rumbling drives added a sense of serenity as the Commander rolled behind a piece of what was once the gate; a few feet in from of Isley.

It was a large open courtyard. In the center was a pantheon of sorts filled with party-goers ranging from rich nobles to completely nude Twi'lek slaves. Four Hutts stared ominously down at their attackers. A few dozen guards of every species took positions behind overturned tables, plant pots, and rubble--weapons primed and aimed toward the entrance. Three massive spider droids stood between each position. The partygoers all ran for cover within the Pantheon.

A massive Trandoshan in deathly black armor sneered down at the CIS force. Two violet lightsabers ignited in his hands as he stared at the aggressors with beady, orange eyes. The lizard beast tilted its scaly green head back, and emitted an ear piercing, raging, reptilian cry. One of the Twi'leks, a male with pale white skin and simple black robes ignited a single crimson blade. He couldn't have been older than eighteen. The Twi'lek said not a word; taking a position behind the hutts.

Ordnance fell on the defenders, and they began to fire. The spider droids rumble as they fired off devastating explosive rounds. Calico held firm behind his defenses; lobbing two thermal detonators at the Hutt's thugs. "Move up! Stay still and you're slagged!"

Sawtooth jumped down behind Oddball, looking around at their surroundings. Checking his pistol, he made sure it was off safety, and holstered it back. If anything, he'd be prepared for the worst. It always helped to he prepared. He didn't hope to kill any Mandalorians, but he knew it would come at some point during the mission. Sawtooth always relied on one principle: Better to have a weapon and not need it, than need it and not have it. Stepping next to Oddball, he nodded at the trooper. "You ready for this man?"

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
"Aye sir! Moving up!" Galaar shouted over the comms and pushed forward, he took cover behind a piece of shattered rubble from Kage's fly-by attack. He then took aim with his Sniper rifle, a deep breathe drawing into the comms as a common calypso song played over the link. There was then a silent poof and something hit one of the spider droids and after a three second delay there was a loud popping noise and an explosion of about three feet. The droid made a mechanical roar and began firing blinding at several bodygaurds moving into postion.

"Siggie boy! Eight down for me."

After his fellow clones joined in the carnage 420 edged along the wall and rounded the corner with extreme force of action. The alleyway was empty. As he moved he kept a running tab on his fellow troopers, particularly the ones in his team. 420 continued along his path and slowed as he reached a building that had the unmistakeable rat tat tat of a light machine blaster firing away.

He relayed his position to his team and waited a moment before making a decision. This building was close enough to the slaves to be a definite hazard to the mission.

Kark it.

420 opened the door leading into the building and silently moved toward the staircase.

First floor clear.

Calico rumbled with laughter as the spider droid went haywire. Bolts of powerful red energy expelled from its primary cannon and set waste across the courtyard. One Twi'lek found himself blown into multiple pieces. Another shot formed a giant crater in the center of the courtyard. The thugs screamed, and the other two spiders turned their cannons on their wounded brethren. Three shots and the malfunctioning droid was nothing but a flame hulk of twisted metal.

The Sith continued to stalk at the top of the Pantheon, along with its apprentice, waiting.

"Don't stop pushing!" Calico roared, vaulting over his cover to sprint across the field. He dropped one of the defenders with his 'Deece' and slid behind an upturned speeder. "We've got them scared lads. The Sith will have to change his robes."

The Commander set up over the speeder; ordnance capsules flying from his rifle. The Hutt's defenders were decimated, organics ripped to pieces. All that remained were the Hutts, the Sith, and the spider droids. Calico moved to hurtle over the speeder and end the Droids.

So close.

His vision lit up right. A sharp pain shot through his chestplate. The Commander tumbled back. The speeder lay in fiery pieces as he rolled across the walkway. "Ah...kripes...cover me boys."

As the Mandalorian began to hack and slash his way through the initial wave of guards, a rude, yet allied, interruption caused him to dive out of the way. The LAAT that had brought them in had began to open fire on the guards that Isley was engaging, which was fantastic. However, the lasers and subsequent explosions...damn near claimed the Mandalorian's hide. As such, he raged over the comm for a few seconds, utilizing the Force to create an invisible barrier from the ordnance that came flying his way. "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE SHOOTING KAGE!!!" he roared, lowering the shield once the explosions moved away from him. With that said, Isley heard the request of Calico for cover and turned, seeing the incoming Spider Droids.

"A rude reminder of Styx, eh vod?" he commented over the comm before extending his offhand, projecting an arc of Force Lightning into the flank of the Spider Droid that was closest to the clone in cover. From there, he heaved the flayed and fried form of the spider into the others through a telekinetic shove, then spoke over the comm. "I'm breaching the facility now!" he said, rushing through the frontmost entrance into the main corridor.

Doc's HUD went wild as he was about to begin moving up the stairs toward the enemy MG Placement.

"Kark." 420 muttered as he slowly began to backtrack.

COMMANDER, SHRAPNEL, CENTER PLATE, REQUIRES ATTENTION.

Doc placed a single thermal detonator on the floor before sprinting out of the building and doubling back toward the Commander's position.

"Doubling back team, CO's hit, don't have too much fun without me." 420 commed to his fellows as he continued his mad dash toward Calico. The sounds of dead and dying men surrounded him as he moved. Explosions. War. Home.

Run.

Run.

Run.

"Commander, stay put sir, I'm inbound." Doc shouted into the com as he neared the other teams objective.

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
Galaar heard Calico call for and instinct clicked in. "Oya! Lor'ika! Oya!" He pointed straight at Calico. The strill shoot off and mauled a Weequay who was coming up to Cal's side. The Commando switched up to his DC-17 and moved forward to Calico's other flank and straight into the blaster fire. A bolt skimming off his shoulder plate harmlessly as he looked over at Calico who hopefully was getting back up.

"You're worse than me... Not supposed to fly drunk."

@[member="Commander Calico CC-247"]

"Understood new blood." Calico grumbled as he struggled to stand up. His chest plate was smoking vehemently, and the smell of burning ozone assaulted his nostrils. The COmmander struggled to maintain his footing; vision dizzy and swirling. The 'Deece' lay in smoking pieces at his feet.

Wonderful.

The twin DC-15s were both in his hands then. Streaks of azure fire pitted across remains of the spiders droids. Their red ocular orbs went out simultaneously as the droids theoretically died. With that issue out of the way; Calico stumbled down to his knees. The strill that he hated so-very-much almost plowed into him. "Di'kut." Calico grumbled as the Strill tried to push him to his feet.

The armor, once more, had saved his life. He could hear the sound of lightsabers igniting as the Sith moved to attack Isley, yet he could do nothing. He set all his weight against the remains of the speeder; waiting for the pain to subside. "It's less drunk and more a lack of awareness ner'vod." He grunted, awaiting the medic.

Sigma had moved through the corridor. Their four man team looked more than a little intimidating as they sprinted on Isley's heels, DC-17's spraying murderous arcs of blue energy at the remaining Hutt guards. They followed the Mandalorian in a standard phalanx. "We'll assist until the Commander is up." Toph called toward Isley as he stomped the head in of a rather rebellious Weequay.

"No," said the Mandalorian as the blades of his saberstaff parried that of the Sith. He shoved back with all his strength, then sent his opponent skidding away with a telekinetic shove. "Half of you, go find the engineer and get him outta here. He'll probably pay us in schematics. The other half, make sure Calico is alright, understood?" They answered in unision, affirming his orders, but Isley did not pay them any mind. This was due to the fact that a torrent of Force Lightning shot across the corridor and was promptly guarded against by the Mandalorian's blades. He then answered with an arc of lightning of his own; and thus the duel truly began.

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
Galaar heard the orders and spoke into the comms with a deep chuckle. "Hold that order sir, I got Ca'ika. He's fat and smells worse than my copklia strill. Calico! Cover the Colonel as I drag you." He then grasped his brother's shoulder and began dragging him backwards toward previously used cover for the medic to safely heal him.

In the mean time he drew his own pistol into his free hand and took potshots at a pirate coming to their left who had avoided the rest of the mess. One of his three blue streaking shots pinned the poor man in the unarmored head and hit with enough kinetic force that there was a sizzling crack and he flipped over partially. "Reminds me of Cato Nemodia, lets hope we don't have to have to jump off a bridge with you on my back this time."

"Cut the chatter Fifty-Two." The Commander grumbled twin sidearms in his hands. He fired freely at the Sith's direction; hoping to put him on the defensive for Isley to press the attack. The fact he was being dragged by his shebs wasn't much fun either. "Just give me a moment." He mumbled; though clearly in pain. His chestplate was still smoking--this might not be a simple flesh wound.

Meanwhile, Toph sent Nox and Brally to assist the Dread Sisters. They moved off at an almost unsettling space.

He and Kix slowly surrounded the Sith locked in combat; chancing three round bursts whenever it seemed that they could be of help. "We have you sir!"
