Gilamar was in Ra's grasp.


Not often did that go well for enemies of the Mand'alor.


It seemed, however, he had an ally who was not ready to give them the respect of a proper duel. Two acid slugs hit Ra by surprise, one searing through his left shoulder pauldron and the other nailing his hip.


Bullseye.


Ra roared in defiance and attempted to fling Gilamar at the other man, throwing Gilamar towards the stairwell. Ra fell a few feet after losing his grip on the pillar, but grasped hold once more. If successful, he would watch the trajectory of Gilamar towards the man, and leap after them both.



"Am I not your family, Vod



was I not your Mand'alor?



What madness have you betrothed that led to the destruction of Mandalore?"


Mia would die.


Ra would not stop until she did.


But his brothers, sisters....


Those that had died in the destruction,


and those that were fooled now.

Ordo's ripper fell from his grasp as he hooked his armored arm. He swung his arm for Preliat's knee in an arc to push the powerful blow aside as his moved forward and to the side. It was a simple maneuver designed to throw an opponent off balance and leave their attacking side exposed.

His hand holding his beskad would follow with a straight hook aimed for the other man's head. He knew this dance he had trained half of their once great military in the simple steps. Preliat was a wolf, savage and visceral. But how would the lone wolf fare against the rancor? Time would tell, only the battle remained.

A normal child would have screamed at the debris falling on her beloved uncle. Yasha tumbled lower down, skidding to a halt by thrusting her tomahawk into the rubble. She scrambled back up to see her uncle veer off. His arm laid on the ground.





"Sweetie, Mama's here." A recorded voice struck Yasha atop the heart and squeezed. Yasha's HUD peppered up with triage steps, trajectories, itemized accounts. Images flashed for Yasha's reading level. "Buir and I're not at your location, my emergency subroutine engaged. Ba'vodu Silas needs his arm cauterized. Follow my voice, sweetie. Step by step. Get up, go to Ba'vodu."





For a moment Yasha wanted to cry out, to reach around for the mother she lost. Her gaze raged around, but there was nobody but her. Aditya's recorded voice flowed through Yasha's comm to [member="Silas Mantis"] & [member="Preliat Mantis"]' comms.





"Silas, honey, I'm sending Yasha to your location. Inhale, hold it for five seconds, exhale. Focus on a corner of the room. Put your back against it and inhale. Hold for five seconds. Exhale." The simulated [member="Aditya Mantis"] continued to cut into Silas' comm, and played in Yasha's ear. "Yasha, faster! Climb through the wreckage, just like the Blood Plains, sweetie!"





At first, Yasha wanted to thrust her tomahawk in [member="Kaden Farr"]'s chest solely because he got near her Ba'vodu. There was something about him, he looked at her Death Watch patch, and offered his hand. Yasha grabbed Kaden's hand and pulled.





"Get to Ba'vodu! He's gonna bleed out!" A timer on her HUD flashed red. Yasha kept running, jumping through cracks in the wreckage. This new boy would follow or he'd die. Choices were simple, but as Yasha twisted into the room where Silas crashed, she pulled out her MT-14 and gunned down the civilians, who had begun to mobilize.





"Search their weapons and any bacta packs!" Yasha kicked a woman who was rising, hacking into her chest with her tomahawk. Yasha sprinted to Silas, yanking a bacta bandage from her cargo pocket and yanking off the wrap. She pressed it on Silas' stump and fumbled out of her jacket, pressing it onto the wound.





"Ba'vodu, Yasha's here!" Yasha held on, as the next image on her HUD flashed up.





"Good. Keep holding that bacta bandage on Ba'vodu's arm. Take stock of your weapons and supplies. Barring a bacta shot, you're going to get metal very, hot and press it against ba'vodu's arm. Remember when Mama got that cut in her thigh? Remember when you put Mama's beskad in the fire and helped Mama press it down? You do. You're a good girl, Yash."





"Mama, he's bleeding bad." Yasha's voice was as level as she could make it. If Mama's recorded loop was calm, Yasha would be calm, too. She would try hard.





"Yes. Find a cauterizing agent. Something you can heat up. Or a bacta shot. The bacta bandage will help, but you need more bacta. Search assailants. Apply bacta. Find metal you can heat up." Her mother's recorded voice was as calm as spring days in Keldabe. In her panic, tears drained down Yasha's face and settled in her goggles as she listened to that familiar voice she'd never hear again. Yasha rubbed her forearm under her goggles and checked Silas' beskar'gam for a bacta shot.





"I know what to do! You! Boy! I need more bacta! Or... or something that gets hot! Hold... hold this I gotta look!" Yasha nodded Kaden over and pulled him to put pressure on the stump.





"Ba'vodu, your Yasha's gonna make this better! Just like a Mommy... Just like a..." Yasha started scanning the room, she knew the HUD of her goggles would visually recognize and chime what she needed. "Mayday, [member="Strider Garon"], Sir. Ba'vodu lost his arm, I need an adult. I got a bacta bandage on it, looking for something metal to get hot and caterwaulize it or something. Yasha Mantis, out."





Even dead, Mama Mantis was that kind of smart.

 

[Kaden Farr]

Blood. There was a lot of blood. For a moment Kaden froze. The man needed help, and when his arm raised to save him off there was no arm. Kaden threw up at the sight of bloody stump. Once that was out of his system adrenaline kicked in. The girl was grabbing for him, telling him what to do. He nodded. “Bacta or something hot, right.”

Kaden scoured the bodies on the ground looking for medpacs that contained bacta shots or some kind of clotting agent. War was vivid, but the desire to see Mia killed, and to be the one to kill he pushed the ten year old past the boundaries of what he thought he could handle. He knew he wasn't a coward for vomiting at the loss of a limb… the sight was his first taste of such an injury. What mattered is the man survived, and that Kaden helped.

The boy cursed using words the older men used. He wasn't finding more shots. Kaden did find a metal plate that was attached to a longer piece of some type of tubing. He grabbed it and ran back to the injured man. Setting his blaster to fire a steady stream he began to heat it up. There was little time to wait for an adult. There was little knowledge in his brain about treating wounds like this, but he knew the bleeding needed to stop. There was one way to do that.

“This is going to hurt. Hold down his arm,” or what was left of it. “I think I know what to do, but what now?”

The console beeped. Complete, finally after all this time.

"Ha-ha!" Almost on cue the blast doors hissed open letting the remaining Death Watch troops file in, rifles at the ready. His aide screamed, a blasterbolt shut her up. Were they not taking prisoners? He had mere seconds to react before he was in a world of pain. He brought up his arms to protect his heart, lungs and face, the blaster bolt slammed into them, sending him back into console. He groaned as his helmet's HUD starting flashing warnings. Mandalorian steel was tough, but it wasn't invincible.

"Chit," he rolled off the console before another blaster bolt ended his life. "Gil, I have what you wanted! Please help me!"

The sensation of being thrown by a giant wasn't one you forgot. It felt eerily similar to when Ordo had thrown him to what had nearly been his death. Unlike that time, this time Gil had a repulsorpack. It erupted sending dust and debris into Kal's face, a much better outcome than if Gil were to land on him.

"You're no family of mine." He was like a wild beast, he understood now how he stayed unchallenged for so long. The old man sucked his teeth and readied his spear again.

"Gil, I have what you wanted! Please help me!" Almost on cue his HUD began beeping as a friendly figure began approaching his location at incredible speeds.

"Atin!" The wall to their left crumbled as Gil's faithful companion crashed through, its claws sending up permacrete and ceramic into the air as it tried to slow itself putting itself between Gil and Ra. The beast roared in a way only a beast of iron could, its weapons trained on Ra as a threat.

A sense of pride and dread tickled his spine and nerves as he watched the basilisk take the hits and nearly shrugged them off. That was Mando'ade engineering at its best.
Being on the bad end of the droids cross-hairs has not been a pleasure, it had decimated his commando squad and continues to threaten to finish off the remainder. The determination that the machine had to eliminate Strider alone with its excessive targeting of him and continuous barrages was hinting towards owner influenced vendetta.

Strider had hoped to be able to bank and line himself up for a strafing run, but with the continued fire he was receiving had made that attack plan voided. Instead, The old man had to direct his flight plan to the next adjacent wall to get out of the Droid's firing arc. He could hear the metal rods pierce the tower right as he rounded the corner. IT was only going to be a matter of time before the droid was going to pluck him from the skies, he had no choice but to evade. Seeing that his tank was running on fumes Strider realized it was time to land.

With the machine hot on his trail that was going to be impossible. "Fek" He hissed to himself.

The old man angled vertically aiming towards the lip of the crumbled rooftop. He would have to think on his feet on what he was going to do next the moment he got up there, but likely hood of living was far greater with that option as for option be was run out of fuel and free fall to one's death. He could hear the alert coming from his fallen soldiers, the voice of the child warrior was cold as ice while reporting her uncles' injuries. They will have to figure it out for themselves, Strider had no time to divert his attention to them.

His body rose above the lip, the droid vectoring in for a better angle of attack. This is it. The jet pack's thrusters puffed and chocked as the fuel depleted and the old hound combat rolled to lessen the inertia of his forwards momentum, bouncing up to his feet with surprising agility of panther. He raised his rifle waiting for the Droid to angle out from the building and rain death upon him. His finger itched on the trigger waiting for the moment, which could be his last.

That was when he saw, out of the corner of his eye a badly injured commando stumble out from the rubble, two thumbed thermal dets in hand. His helmet was off, his face was a mess least to say but he managed to get himself to a running start towards the edge roaring " FOR THE WATCH!!!" flinging himself off the building towards the incoming Basilisk.

The brave commando fell from Strider's sight, he could hear a quick burst of jetpack thrusters and then the familiar explosion of thermal detonators.

Vila stood in the open hatch of her ship as it shoved its aging bulk through an atmosphere thick with smoke, ash, and the sounds of battle. The aging starship had the capability to house weapons that would likely make the battle at the office park over in a matter of seconds, but Vila lacked the funds to keep them in stock. In her main gig, bounty hunting, she only rarely required munitions, instead relying on her skills and armor. In her arms, she cradled her rifle. While she and the rifle may not be familiar to people yet, she and it had already taken shots at several prominent members of the Death Watch group. Sadly, those shots did little lasting damage, but that didn't stop Vila from taking aim at them again, and she would continue until what they stood for was stamped out.

She watched as a Death Watch Commando charged across the rooftop, two shapes in his hands as he leapt from the edge of the roof, aiming to land on a war droid. Vila wasn't entirely sure of the commandos plan, but it was Death Watch, and at the moment that was enough for her to want to ruin it.

As the commando reached the lip of the roof, Vila dropped to one armored knee. She placed a bead on her target, then lead it a bit. She exhaled, as had been drilled into her time and time again, and then caressed the trigger as if it were a lovers face. A single shot reached out from the open hold of her ship, and zeroed in on the commandos head. The impact drilled a hole from beneath the left eye, through the back right side of his skull. No longer able to command his hands to hold the grenades, the thermal detonators exploded, thrashing his body just short of the droid he had been aiming for. Flaming bits of his body, and large pieces of his armor rained everywhere, and the droid was not likely without damage. Her shot hadn't imparted much, if any, energy on the body.

Her concern for the droid, however, died with the commando. She pivoted as her ship went into hover mode above the building, and her reticle landed on [member="strider garon"]. She pulled the trigger and held it for a two count, sending a trio of bolts down at the man. She hadn't had much time to aim, so she was relying on pure skill and instinct as she knelt in the open hold of her hovering, ancient ship.

She knew it would likely become a target for those on the roof, but all the risks had been weighed, and she deemed it a worthwhile risk this time. If she lost her ship or not, the fight for Manda'yaim was here.

 

[Rhodessa]

The upper levels began to collapse, Feth, she said out loud, she and others began running jumping and sprinting down the stairs, to safety. She ran down so quickly, she lost where she wa and what she was doing, she and group she was with, actually managed to out flank a group death watch. They quickly opened fire, killing them all. Their blood was splattered all over the walls, but the they no time to wait, they had to get down stairs, they carried on running. Feth, I am out of ammo. She said as she went down further, she left her ammo packs upstairs, ready for quick reloads. She got to safety and then saw the Death Watch Mandalore, their was only one thing she could do, she ran towards him, from behind and she ran quick and true, she aimed foot to put in between his legs, as hards and as fast as she could. He was busy monologuing to another mandalorian, hopefully too busy to see her attack coming.

 

[Kal Kandossii]

Location: stairwell/lobby

Enemies: whoever tries to kill Gil before he gets his contract. Oh, and [member="Ra Vizsla"]

Gil flying at Kal made him fall back several feet bracing for impact. One that never came. Instead he got hit by backwash from the jetpack. Stones, dust, and a heat wave hit the Mando shoving him back several more steps. If it wasn't for his armor it would have been unpleasant. As it was he had to turn his face away.

But as good eyes turned to find the two combatants the wall caved in as the massive droid shoved in to enter the scene. Holstering the Protector he ran down the steps to get away from the catalyst that was sure to bring destruction.

"This is the last time, the last time I stick my nose in another's business!"

Running into what was left of the lobby he watched as Mandal Motors security were still in a firefight with the encroaching mandalorians. Still not sure what the feth was going on he dove through one of the many holes in the building and to the outside.

 

[Preliat Mantis]

Preliat felt the weight of the blow first, through the false, electronic nerves that sent reactions to his brain. He was pushed aside and knocked off balance, but not before spotting the hook coming for his head.

His right armored hand shot up and hooked his crushgaunt around Ordo's beskad-laden hand.

The old man was trying old tricks. Preliat had a new one. With his left, he made for an attempt to grab onto his torso. And he flicked his eyes just so- and powered on his jet pack- in an attempt to take the old man with him.

Kad heard the explosion of the four sticky bombs he had placed on the droid over his shoulder. He smiled with a proud look under his buy'ce as the sound almost certainly meant the thing had finally been destroyed. He was goran after all, and a demolitions expert. Kad knew what it took to bring down the entire building. Certainly he could take out a droid. Apparently he couldn't. As he rounded back to look at his handiwork the engines fired up again. Either some kind of secondary protocol kicked in, or this thing was made of something stronger than beskar.

There was no time to second guess any of things that could have gone wrong. All Kad knew was it had. There was one sure way to take thing thing out and that was to add his jetpack missile to the pack of thermal detonators headed its way. A fatally wounded commando also had the idea of sacrificing himself, but as the warrior was about to jump another threat revealed itself.

The hesitancy to look made Kad a target. He had to move as the droid started to launch missiles at him instead. He weaved to avoid them, but that cost him a good amount of fuel. There was only one thing left to do, and he was going to cut it close. While it seemed the new arrival was occupied with Strider, Kad took the opportunity to line up his shot. Once his HUD indicated he was locked on to the droids power supply, Kad released the missile from his jet pack and sent it screaming toward the droid.

Kad's HUD was sending him signals that his fuel tank was near red. He had to land before it cut out on him. If Kad died [member="Artemis Lux"] was going to kill him. Despite that, Kad was concerned about Strider. He seemed to be someone the opposition wanted dead, and for good reason. However, even the near impossible to kill hound wasn't invincible. He was going to need help, and the Tal'rekr needed to regroup. This was their first outing, and what had started well had seen their unit nearly cut in half by death and injury. This was war, but for one building, they were paying a heavy price.

Sundari Palace

Aryn dashed forward.

He moved as fast as he could, his bulk bouncing up and down as he rushed towards the palace. The long extending catwalk carried him directly into the open square in front of the palace, a massive space where usually a crowd gathered. Now it was filled with flames and corpses, a dozen or so men and women still fighting as Palace security tried to beat back the Death Watch whom had made their way here.

The Togorian heard the comm call through the small device in his ear, Atiniir signalling he'd taken the security offices.

A scowl pulled across his lips as he half turned, moving off the straight path he'd been taken and dashing towards the left. He had no idea where his foe was, no idea if the sniper was in front of him, to the left, or to the far reaches of the palace itself. None of that mattered however, and as he banked to the left Aryn let out a roar. He leaped forward and grasped onto a small ledge, pulling himself up almost instantly and scratching the heavy stone as he slammed down onto a high walkway.

For a moment he glanced around.

His eye flickered over the distant buildings, attempting to spot a glint or another sign of the marksmen.

A low growl rolled through his throat, and slowly Aryn began to ascend the stairs. He took measured steps, watching carefully and moving erratically. He knew that he was an easy target, but the thick stone columns on the way to the Palace's throne room made for good defensive positions. He just had to make sure to move between them quickly.

 

[Mia Monroe]

The droid pitched and rolled at the cry of “OYA” from behind it. The term ‘Oya’ never produced anything good unless it came from a rider. The jet pack sailed beneath it as another cry came from the rooftop. The combined explosion of four thermal grenades and a jet pack blew the bes’uliik of it course and filled the sky with a luminous ball of orange and blue flames that temporarily blinded its sensors.

The missile found its mark, shredding its exposed flanks and ripping away half the engines, the droid dropped out of the sky, flattening soldiers in the streets below. Lights flickered for a moment, and it struggled to move before stopping completely. Repair droids spilled from its interior and set to work, perhaps they could make it fly again, but it certainly wasn’t shooting anymore.

Tahn’s demand for attention echoed after Mia and she snarled under her breath and halted her run as he appeared at the foot of the stairs, whirling about to face him her hand reaching out to seize him in the force. “I have neither the time nor the patience to teach you, whelp.” A flick of her wrist and she sought to launch him through the wall behind him.

Familiar crunch of rubble sounded behind her and she glanced over her shoulder as a rifle opened fire, blaster fire pinged off her beskar’gam, and she yanked her head back as a shot skimmed across her visor cracking it, another found a soft point at the back of her knee.

Feth, she was out of practice. She swung her bolter round to return fire as her knee hit the deck but instead her eyes slid upward to the ceiling as it began to crumble. “Osik.” she muttered. Activating her jet pack to launch herself towards the nearest window, she raced the collapsing ceiling. Glass rained over her armour, some of it finding its way into the wound on the back of her knee.

She turned once she was clear, looking about for the bes’uliik and catching sight of it on the ground below. “KARK!” she opened comms to Gil “Din’kartay?” she barked.

 

[Rekali the Hutt]

Rekali the Hutt fell from the sky, holding crossbow to his eye as he did. Death Watch was all around, lead by Ra Vizsla, a man who the Hutt had once followed into war. A man who'd taken the Resol'nare and spit it through his teeth. A man who'd disbanded the clans, instituting a dictatorship where he was sole ruler. A man who'd banned the Force and all it's users from being Mandalorians.

So when Rekali the Hutt found a target, one [member="Briika Tor"], he began firing his crossbow and letting loose a couple of explosive bolts. Gravity would ensure the bolts had the range, and the bolts were essentially a grenade on a stick, nothing too lethal against her Beskar'gam most likely but accuracy would be an issue for a little while. The Hutt would land on the ground in a few moments, propelled by a jetpack that looked more like a turbine than a true jetpack.

The fight had begun.

 

[Atiniir Starrider]

Location: Sundari Palace

This was it. The moment they had all been waiting for. Security was down, Death Watch was in the courtyards. Now, with the doors open and guards confused as to where the defense should be concentrated, released prisoners and Death Watch soldiers were swarming the inner halls of the palace itself. The remaining palace guards tried desperately to hold the line, but the forces of Aryn were pushing them back with sheer fury and numbers alone. The battle was over, and they were now just mopping up.

Atiniir himself was leading his team through the last few corridors they had left before the throne room. They reached it, and there it was: the throne of Sundari in all its glory. Two elite guards stood beside it, hopelessly determined, and the Prime Minister of Sundari sat in the throne.

"So," he said, "You have come." Atiniir held up a hand to hold his guards, then stepped forward.

"I am Atiniir Starrider, of Clan Starrider, warrior of Death Watch," he said, "This battle is over. We have won. Step down and you might survive this." The Prime Minister sighed.

"I suppose I have no other choice," he said. He waved a hand, seemingly to have his guards stand down and Atiniir step forward. In truth, it was a barely perceptible signal. The Prime Minister had watched this warrior lead his commandos through the halls, killing guard after guard and spelling doom for the palace's defense. If the Prime Minister was going down, he was taking Atiniir with him. On the signal, a single man with a blaster rifle shifted into the doorway of the throne room, right behind Atiniir. He had hidden away from the rapidly moving Mandalorians, and had been missed. Now he took aim at the gap between Atiniir's helmet and backplate. His finger tensed on the trigger.

 

[Narir Tracyn]

Location: Sundari Palace

Narir had been following the path of destruction carved by Atiniir's team for several minutes. His heart was racing, eyes wide as he saw fallen guards and discarded energy clips. He was reminded of the stories his parents had once told him of the great Mandalorian warriors. This was the handiwork of a warrior, all right, and Narir had no doubt that whoever he found at the end of this trail would be a Mandalorian for sure. Finally, he reached the throne room.

Narir at the time did not have a side. He knew nothing of Mia Monroe's part in his parent's death, nor the reason Death Watch was here. The only thing he knew and recognized was beskar'gam, and when he saw a man drawing a bead on a tall man in red and black Mandalorian iron, he knew only one thing: he had to save his vod. Ripping his blaster from its holster he aimed and fired a single shot. The bolt shot cleanly through the rifleman's head, punching a hole in the throne above the prime minister's head. Narir walked forward, past the man's body, pistol barrel smoking.

"Hut'uun," he said simply.

Surprisingly the hospital was quiet. Death Watch had not chosen to investigate the healer's abode. But in time they would. In the security office he sat and watched as several Clan Farr vode were hacking the systems, downloading all information, erasing information, then retrieving the hard drives to physically destroy later. Nodding he moved from the room, the limp more pronounced then earlier.

Down the hall and several floors later found him in a large room where the physical records were kept. A controlled fire was currently destroying all the files. A hard set to swollen face as he wondered idly if Rianna and Briika were okay. He had an idea where each would turn, and unfortunately that would mean they would become foes. Life had a twisted sense of humor at times.

As his group checked in, all headed out to escape the city and let the war consume each other in the current battles, Muad slowly walked back to the grounds of the building. All records had been purged. But that wouldn't stop the witch hunt. But it would show it down enough for him to save as many of the mando'ade as possible. All because they were born just a little different.

He raised his head and watched the lambda shuttle land and slowly he climbed aboard the swoop driving it up the ramp. One of the mandalorians asked a question, "home boss?" Closing his eyes he breathed slowly as he felt the pain in his head pounding, his ribs aching, his thigh throbbing. Opening his eyes he spoke to his vode.

"Actually I need to leave a message."

The shuttle rose and cut through the atmosphere.

A Basilisk War Droid.

Even by Gilamar's standards of deception, this was rather underhanded. How many did they wish to involve in this challenge?

Anything to justify their madness.

Anything to clear their conscience.

Ra's presence reminded each and every one of them of their failure for the Clans. Ra's return reminded them there were consequences for crossing Mandalore. Ra's strength reminded them that they had spurned Manda'yaim, and Death Watch had answered the call for retaliation. It was only fair. They tried to kill her. They had wounded her. The Mother had cried for help, had cried for justice for her people, her sons and daughters. The damage done, the actions taken, they were all irreversible. No apology could supercede the destruction wrought, the lives lost. No excuse could be made to spare any of them. Death Watch were the harbingers of law in a time of lawlessness.


And their leader tired of these games.


Ra reached up, saw one Mandalorian approaching him.


Not Death Watch.


Ra's hand quickly grasped the head of the Basilisk, reaching for the underpinning.


The other was running down the stairwell.


So much for that guy.


Another hand came up to the side of the basilisk, as Ra angled himself underneath the iron beast.


Gilamar stood on the other side.


Smart man.


Ra pushed up and tore down, his crushgaunts ripping through iron and steel, tearing with them the navigational sensors of the Basilisk.


And then he began to push back against it.


Of course there was no way Ra could match the strength of a Basilisk, but to steer it off course, to blind it, and to hopefully trap Gilamar under its own weight...


All of this while standing under the gunfire.


Close quarters really were no place for this magnificent beast.


Ra felt a thud, and looked behind him for a split second.


Someone had just kicked his groin, and met Mandalorian Steel.

The Bounty Hunter set his little seen in the hopes Mand'alor the Liberator would come and see, although she'd simply moved back up the stairs and avoided it all together. His attempt to prove his loyalty had gone un-noticed and was truly a waste, if he were to capture her then he'd have to go about it by other means. More aggressive, more hostile methods that would certainly catch her attention. Problem being, among this Civil War he has no allies - both Insurgents and Death Watch will fire upon him alike, although for now he looked and acted like an Insurgent. Blending in amongst their ranks.

​Taking note of her moving back up the stairs in an attempt to face Tahn. Fett gave an angered huff and grunting beneath his breath, "Hmph." Taking his own way up the stairs after her, in the end he was only one floor below her. He spotted her using a one of those Force User tricks, or at least attempting to. Thought the ceiling began to collapse, and it wouldn't be long before he was crushed beneath it. Activating a burst of his jetpack, he darted towards the window, narrowly escaping to the outside in his pursuit for this bounty.

Fett removed a hand from his carbine, and raised wrist - launching a whipcord towards her legs from short range, unlikely missing. Meanwhile, he began firing at the Mand'alor's jetpack with precise three round bursts. If she were bound it didn't seem as if she was going anywhere. It was a weight battle at that stage, and Koda would be heavier than the woman. The hunt was on, and the quarry was within his grasp. The taste of all those credits drove him to success, she would be his in his mind. It isn't often someone escapes from his clutches.
