The Bounty Hunter's quarry fled, he watched on through his scope, there was no chance of getting her now. His only option was to leave, and return to the hunt another day. With an angered sigh he lowered his head, closing his eyes briefly. The Liberator would be within his grasp soon enough, and with it that large fee. His EE-3 was resting upon the ground, a sniper rifle in his grip, it's barrel leaning on the railing ahead of him as his head picked up once more, scanning the battlefield or whatever was left of it. Another battle would come, and another chance would present itself.

Though a ping was emitted from his sensors, this battle wasn't over just yet, at least not for the Bounty Hunter. In a quick motion, he pivoted towards it as words from this young Mandalorian were spouted out towards him, a challenge or so it seemed. It wasn't what he expected, no, with everyone clad in heavy armor it was surprise to see someone in rags. Brave. Fett thought to himself, Kvall most definitely was to combat him without any real protection. Koda stood upright, and the young man expertly threw a knife towards his throat, but with a quick pivot his left side shifted backwards - the knife sailing past him and impacting with the wall behind him, firmly embedded into it. Talented.

With the sniper in his grip, held across his armored body the Bounty Hunter stared the boy down. "Nobody paid me to kill you." Fett remarked, though his words betrayed his actions, in a swift motion he brought the rifle upwards and fired from the hip, sending bolts in the direction but most likely missing due to the fact it's more than probable that Jor is making his attempt to get out of the way. Fett didn't really think of Jvall as much of a challenge to begin with, perhaps a mistake.

The vibroknife dug into the cold concrete of the wall only inches from Koda Fett's neck. Were it not for his skilled reflexes, a lesser man would have found his neck skewered. Jor was glad that he dodged the knife. He didn't want the fight to be over before it had already begun. He longed to taste the aches and pains of combat, to feel his enemy's skull against his closed fist, rather than to kill a man from afar.

Hence, these weapons were frustrating. Kvall found himself rolling into cover as Koda returned fire; fortunately, the bounty hunter was shooting from the hip, and his accuracy was reduced. Perhaps he didn't take Jor seriously yet. He would have to change that. The young Mandalorian peered out from behind the building's edge and fired off several rounds from his slugthrower at Koda.

"Coin is a nice motivator, but for me, an unnecessary one."

The rounds from his slugthrower were merely a distraction. Behind the wall, Jor flicked the activator on one of his thermal grenades and kept it cooking in his hand, his other arm using his rifle to fire off haphazardly in Koda's direction. The next moment though, Koda would see the small metallic grenade pitched across the alley, rolling towards him and emitting its final beep.

The Bounty Hunter was underperforming, at least for now whilst he took the boy for a joke to attack him under such circumstances. Foolish pride for his cause brought him here, but soon enough Fett found that Jvall was more than just a joke, he needed to be treated seriously, or he may just end up dead. After his short barrage, he ducked behind a pillar only to see a thermal detonator ready to explode roll toward this location. Koda's reaction time was commendable, a swift step taken around the corner and a burst from his jetpack - sending him sailing meters ahead in an attempt to avoid the explosion - although his sensors were disrupted for the time being, for how long he did not know.

In such a quick motion his left hand left his rifle and touched his hip, snatching a sonic detonator, priming it and hurling it in the direction of Kvall. When it detonated a deafening, high-pitch squeal would fill Jor's ears, disorientating him for the meantime. With this hopefully in play, the Bounty Hunter is able to close the distance. Once close enough, the rifle is brought up by both hands, the barrel now over his shoulder before being thrust downwards in an attempt to strike him in head with the butt of said blaster. He offered no words, for his actions spoke louder than they ever could.

Tal chuckled at the quip about his memory, having lived enough lives to fill a millennium of memories.

The droid would walk away unharmed, and the dirt beneath the mandalorian's metal mount churned as it launched itself back into the sky.

A brief message was tight-beamed to the droid below, then the thrusters engaged and the iron beast and its rider shot back toward the battle.

"Oya, Beskar'vod."

Jor Kvall

Ain't found a way to kill me yet
Jor's head was swimming after the sound waves from the sonic grenade resonated through his skull. He could feel their vibrations as the grenade exploded, and he liked it. So this was what battle tasted like - this is what he had yearned for, for so long, the sensation which had been deprived of him. He was disoriented, but not enough to prevent him from bringing up his own rifle to block Koda's as the bounty hunter descended from above. Kvall fell back, bracing his slugthrower rifle between himself and his opponent, and kicked upwards with his legs as his back hit the ground, in an attempt to push his foe away from him.

Jor stood to his feet. There was some space between him and the hunter now, enough for a moment's respite, which allowed Jor to toss the rifle away from him. He made it known that he cared little for any long-range tests of marksmanship; instead he wanted to battle up close. He would do things the old-fashioned way. He pulled the remaining vibroknife from his belt and gripped it, holding himself in a ready position. He wanted to stab, not shoot. He wanted to feel his body locked in mortal combat with his opponent's.

With the blocking of his rifle, and a kick delivered to his armored chest plate - he was sent backwards - though not far at all. The space was between the two, and Fett witnessed the vibroknife in the boy's hand. The Bounty Hunter cared not for the knife, if he truly wanted a real fight he'd of tossed them aside. Yet instead he pulled the cheap option, the cheap option that would do nothing due to the intense and strong armor that Koda resided inside. Though unfortunately for Kvall, the Bounty Hunter valued himself over any sense of honor.

Extending his right arm, he fired a whipcord outwards towards Kvall's legs in an attempt to bind. Regardless if it were successful or not, he charged forwards with a lunging right punch. Aiming it directly into the left eye socket of the younger Mandalorian. Punches like that could kill, in fact they have, but something in Fett's mind told him that Jor would only get keep getting back up.

Another moment and whip cord had wrapped itself around Jor's legs. Fortunately for him it had not bound his arms, and he still found his knife hand free. That was enough to allow him to free himself using the sharp blade of the vibroknife, reaching down to cut through the whip cord with a burst of strength. The cord snapped and fell by the wayside. But in the time it had taken for Jor to cut himself free, Koda Fett was already upon him. He brought his arm up to block, but Koda's punch still partially connected against the side of his face.

Kvall knew little of real battles aside from his own physical training, but today's pain was worth it. Even though he was paying for it with his own blood, he was learning. He was learning not only combat tactics, but the necessary tools to get the job done as well. Kvall's vibroknife was hopelessly inefficient against Koda's arsenal, and yet the young man pressed on, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the ground, a tooth possibly included with it.

Kvall righted himself after stumbling backwards and decided to press an attack of his own. He feinted with a quick punch with his free hand, before his knife hand came around, aiming at Koda's neck.

Jor put up a better fight than the Bounty Hunter previously anticipated, he was just a boy seeking honour and glory but perhaps he'd already had it with skills great enough to contend with him. After Fett's fist struck Kvall's face, he stood his ground, waiting for the rebound which would eventually come. There wasn't a doubt about it. A shame really, Mandalorians have to earn their armour by being beaten in combat, earning honour by fighting an opponent that far surpasses themselves. Although, it's a steep learning curve, you either adapt or you die. Kvall was adapting well.

Though when the knife came around, Koda was having none of it, darting to his left side slightly before reaching up towards the knife, snatching at the wrist of the younger man before rotating back in, his back faced towards Jor. Now he ducks down with strength and speed in his attempt to flip Jor over his shoulder and onto his back. This fight couldn't go on for too long, he had to get out of here before the rest of the Death Watch made their way over to defend their 'cub'.

The two Mandalorians locked horns momentarily before Jor was upended and flipped onto the ground. Surrounding the two fighters were the incendiary bits that remained from Jor's concussion grenade, still illuminating the ground with their embers. Smoke still billowed upwards from the areas of the wall that had been ignited by blaster bolts. The test of strength probably would not go on for much longer, and so Jor wanted to relish every moment of it.

"Clan Kvall will rise!"

From his position on the ground, Jor shifted onto his shoulderblades and kicked upwards at the bounty hunter's face.

The Bounty Hunter had no idea of Clan Kvall, whether he yelled that for it's current low status or whatever it may be, he was oblivious and quite frankly he didn't care for them. In truth, this fight was frustrating, the fact he was so desperate to prove his glory and earn whatever rights it may be were just infuriating. He was looking for a quick solution to this issue. Of course a lethal option could be taken, and with his own arsenal at Fett's disposal, he could take away his life before thinking twice about it, yet something inside him told him not to kill him, just to let him off with a warning, just this once. If it came to this again, there was hardly a chance he would be so merciful.

As he flung the boy over his shoulder, he remained hunched briefly, watching Jor squirm out of his grip and onto his back. Whilst shifting back upright a foot impacts with his faceplate, sending him up and staggering backwards for a step or two with a grunt, "Eugh!" Though it wasn't likely that Koda would be out from one kick alone. By now, it was likely that Jor was attempting to get up and if that were the case a foot would of been extended outwards, Fett shifting to his left in order to align his body in a way to deliver the bottom of his boot towards Kvall's forehead.

Kvall seemed to be fighting himself, his attacks targeting some invisible spectre of his conscience. Koda Fett was almost ancillary to the whole matter; it was as if Jor could have been fighting anyone and his words and actions would remain the same. The young Mandalorian flipped onto his feet after delivering a kick to Koda's faceplate. He moved out of the way in time to avoid the bounty hunter's boot, which he blocked with his hand, at the expense of several bones in his fingers.

Jor stood up, his hand pulsating with the tinges of pain as blood trickled from his lip from the space in his mouth where a tooth used to be. He got the sense that the bounty hunter was holding back on him, and that is not how he wanted his first battle to end.

"Kill me!"

He sauntered forward again with his hands up, his fist movements only a feint that masked his heel heading towards Koda's kneecap.

The heel had missed it's target, instead of striking Fett's armored knee pad, it had instead gone to the side of his torso. For instead of combating it in a usual sense, he lowered himself down to a knee after barely moving out of the way of the young man's kick. Of course, the Bounty Hunter would attempt to grasp onto the leg with his left arm, pinning it against his armored chest region and twist to his right, the right arm as a hole brought upwards and bent whilst forming a fist. In a quick motion the right elbow of Koda Fett would descend down towards the knee cap of the Jor Kvall, if it struck true, it would definitely do some damage.

Fett was surely tempted to kill the boy, Kvall asked for a real fight not a simple shootout. Otherwise the Bounty Hunter would of blasted him from the get go. He could respect this action, it certainly was a ballsy move to attempt to take on a fully armored Mandalorian in nothing more than simple clothing.
