So Close, The wolf thought as his fingers skid along the exterior of the droid's body, the warmth of his hand skimming the cold steel that covered the basilisk. His gaze stayed upwards towards the target he missed for only a short while as the target he was heading for beneath him drew ever closer. The feeling of panic began to set in as he had no hope for getting that stupid fething jet pack to start going again, a clawed hand tearing it from his back in a moment of rage. But after that small window of rage came clarity so strong, Tahn might have believed himself to be stupid if he didn't know that it was his bloodlust blinding him.
"I can change my damn body!" He screamed aloud as the thought ran through his mind, quickly morphing his innards and bone structure into positions that would lessen his impact into the surface below. A new, sturdier rib cage began to form as his vitals made their way to the back of his body to prevent them from being damaged, his limbs sacrificing muscle strength for reinforcing his bones so they wouldn't snap on impact. He closed his eyes and prayed to Mandalore that the fall wouldn't cripple him for life, refusing to accept that he would be unable to do battle.
Smash
His eyes opening after the loud and painful impact his body felt against stone and rebar told him that his days still weren't as numbered as he thought, a breath of relief escaping his tightly packed lungs as a mad giggle began to come from his lips in the excitement. But with that laugh came an intense throbbing pain in his back, that caught the sound in his throat as it tried to escape. Shuffling into a seated position as his body began to reform into it's primary human state, the pain began to move from his ribs into his lower back and abdomen. A quick feel about his body told him that his lower right ribs were almost completely shattered by the impact as he wiped his face in disbelief, his hand pulling away the blood that had mixed with dirt and ash into a grotesque paste, as well as a piece of rebar stabbing through his shoulder.
Ultimately it was opportunity that pulled both his gaze and mind away from the pain running along his entire body as a crashing similar to his own was heard down the hall, the figure having a much more admittedly graceful and intentional entrance than Tahn had. As the dust cleared Tahn vaguely recognized who it was, though he had not seen her in flesh before. She began barking at both workers and security to escape as Tahn slowly raised himself to his feet using his axe, ignoring the pain that ran in his side as best that he could. Her gaze was towards the hole she had created assuming that the enemy would follow her in, but the enemy had already been in the building.
"Mand'alor!!!" He howled at the woman standing at the end of the hall, giving her the proper title that she had once earned and hadn't properly lost. His eyes glowing gold as he rubbed the rest of the bloody past away from his face, ignoring both the rod piercing his shoulder and his shattered ribs as best that he could to stare down his enemy. He shifted his footing so that he could keep himself balanced and wield his axe in both hands, showing that he was ready and willing to take her down if given the chance.
Bringing Mand'alor the Undying his biggest opponent defeated would surely raise Tahn to one of the greatest in Death Watch, and he would be the one to show her undeserving of the title Mand'alor. But where his heart was full his mind was not so, clouding itself with bloodlust once more he would forget the stories he had heard of Force Users and their abilities. All he saw before him was a woman backed into a corner deserving of a proper death, and so his claws grew and his hair began to become ragged as he readied himself to slaughter.
