- As Head of House Kuhlvult, Cidolfas holds immense influence in Kuati planetary affairs as a member of the Ten, the aristocratic families that originally colonized the planet and have controlled the government and the planet's famous shipyards. Regarding his connections to the Lady of Secrets, he has become a loyal follower and mouthpiece for the Sith Lady as her power base was able to save him and his immediate family during Julius Loghain's Night of the Guillotine.

- Cidolfas stands at an average height of 1.88 meters, with gray hair that he keeps closely cropped and well trimmed. Intelligence gleams in his dark eyes, and even though he has begun to show some signs of aging as he enters his fifties, he keeps himself in good shape. Cidolfas typically wears clothing in the bronze and blues that are his House colors, usually found in a set of armored and stylish robes that hint at his militaristic mindset. Hidden among the symbols that have been stamped onto the armor plates of ancient Kuati writings that an ancestor of the House created is a small representation of the Order of Arcane Syn's symbol, deliberately mixed into the other symbols to throw off suspicion of his loyalties.

He has worked to once again reintegrate his family into the operations of the Kuat Orbital Array and other facilities across the sector, serving as Master Engineer of the Deponn Shipyards segment of the orbital ring and Warden overseeing the weapon and drive unit testing facilities on the moon of Bador.

- Cidolfas is a calm man, meticulous in nature. However, as he is part of the revived aristocracy of Kuat, he does have a certain superiority complex over others who are not considered nobles or prominent in their own cultures. As the Head of House Kuhlvult, he knows every action and every technology developed by the engineers within his sphere are under scrutiny for any signs of weakness, and thus Cidolfas is also a guarded man and is always careful to understand all niceties within any social or political gathering. He chooses his words carefully and always after some thought. Cidolfas is happiest when he is within his family workshops or overseeing the portion of the shipyards his family controls, preferring to be in the thick of the work and leading by example.

- If he ends up in a combat situation, something has gone very wrong for Cidolfas. Accomplished as he is as an engineer, administrator, and noble, he is not anywhere close to a trained combatant. At most, he would try to talk his way out of a situation or offer a substantial windfall to his enemy to get out of trouble.

- As previously stated, Cidolfas would be nearly useless in a combat situation. He understands his limitations and leaves combat to the professionals, preferring to provide the soldiers with the ships and technology they need to fight on his behalf and the planet he helps oversee.

- While he has an appreciation for the powers the Force can grant, as a Non-Force User, that appreciation is as close as he can get to wielding the Force.
- In his years overseeing the affairs of House Kuhlvult, and the various facilities that service the Deponn shipyards, Cidolfas is a skilled administrator and engineer within his own right. His encyclopedic knowledge on everything Kuat has developed allows the Deponn Shipyards and the facilities that feed weapons and other components into them to operate at peak efficiency.
- Cidolfas is nearly useless in a combat situation. He is an administrator, an engineer, a politician. He is not a soldier and has to rely upon others to actually fight battles on his behalf.
Born in 851 as the firstborn son of Terenus Kuhlvult and Vishi Kuhlvult, Cidolfas had long been groomed to become the Head of his House. The galaxy was in a state of utter chaos in his formative years, Kuat watching as the Core was consumed consistently by war and vying powers. He was only five years old when the first Galactic Alliance was destroyed by the Lady of Secrets and the Sith Empire under Darth Carnifex. He watched as his father made deals to spare the family facilities from the roving treasure fleets of the Sith that were plundering the Core, ensuring that House Kuhlvult would remain influential and powerful in the sector. In his formative years, he studied engineering and administration, working within the very facilities and shipyards his family oversaw, and developed a deep admiration for what he considered the art of starship design.
It would be in his late twenties when his life would change forever. Julius Loghain, the Despot of Kuat, had been slowly tightening his grip upon Kuat and the surrounding sector, seeking to pull the system away from the second Galactic Alliance and into the sphere of influence of the New Imperial Order. House Kuhlvult was one of many targets of the Night of the Guillotine, and Cidolfas could only watch as his father and mother were executed in the purges, his own family only a step ahead of Loghain's insurrectionists. He believed they would be doomed to join his mother and father when he discovered a hidden communication device in his father's study. That device connected him to Darth Arcanix, the Lady of Secrets, one of the Sith his father had approached to ensure his family's interests would not be targeted in the chaos after the Core fell the first time. It had long gone unused as the new democracies and powers formed in the Core, but he reactivated it now... and a deal was proposed. In return for safe passage from the coup and upheaval gripping the Kuat system, House Kuhlvult would in turn become an instrument of the Lady of Secrets.
He agreed.
Cidolfas, his family, and a few loyal retainers were extracted from Kuat, forced to live in exile as he could only watch the Kuat Crisis unfold. Working within the structure of the Order of Arcane Syn as an engineer, offering his knowledge to develop technology and starships, Cidolfas and his new Master bided their time until Loghain and the New Imperial Order's efforts on Kuat were thwarted before quietly placing the family back on the world to begin growing the influence of the House and absorbing some holdings from rival houses that were wiped out in the purges.
