While Largan City, the capital of Relovian, isn't covered in snow year-round the way Glyss is, the region around the capital is, at this time of the local year on Relovian. The opening of these festivities include a race of beetle droids, with B-1 battle droids serving as their jockeys. Said B-1 battle droids are devoid of weapons, let alone the flamethrowers as used on Lok against the Rogue One Sith, burning the enemy infantry to a crisp. What differentiated the vanilla, heavy and advanced bettle droids was not so much the eponymous beetle droids that served as their mounts, but the flamethrowers they mounted. The hippodrome had two christmas trees at the edges of the central spine, that is, two trees that are richly decorated with small LEDs and other ornaments, both being some variety of pine. Four beetle droids, each painted green, red, blue and white, would be upon the starting line of the race, at the hippodrome's centerline, with [member="Addi Pense"] about to signal the start of the race, amid a snowstorm:
"Ladies and gentlebeings, welcome to the Life Day festival, where the Confederacy of Independent Systems have so graciously provided us with four beetle droids to take part in a three-lap race"
"What's special this year is that the CIS will formally open negotiations so that Relovian enters the Confederate fold. Also rumored to be there are representatives from the Mandalorian Crusaders"
