Chain Gang(Republic Dominion of Mobus)

Ayumi Pallopides

Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
@[member="Reela Witko"] @[member="Antares Windu"] @[member="Vulpesen"] @[member="Kira Liadain"] @[member="Aerrah Katamirth"] @[member="Serenity"] @[member="Daella Apparine"]

Ayumi heard the reports and what was happening and she moved about her cruisers station. Looking over the reports she spoke to the security and moved. "Check the cells and make sure they are secure if need be stun and gas the prisoners to sleep. We aren't going to have a break out on board this ship understood." The man gave a nod of his head while he went off to work and follow orders. She was payign attention to the situation on the other ship. "Send some riot troopers over there."

This was proving interesting and worth a report. She wasn't sure how to really explain it as the large zeltron moved in her ship working to conceal it with the force but keep taking notes. The one sith had taken her in and with Kaine she had gotten orders, a purpose again along with Eruna who was still serving her in what was needed. It all came about in the more dangerous ways to give her this report of some Republic ships going after the Pit prison which would give them access to convicts for expendable missions and if information came it from them. Not something she wanted to attribute to their resources incase there were valuable sith prisoners there.

That blonde jedi with the ewok suit had been funny to see and then there were the reports of a prisoner outbreak as Orihime sealed the doors. Her sabers in her hands with some of the other padawans and well she knew her mother was here on the planet. She knew she wasn't going to be allowed on it but she could at least look out and try to help with the other padawans. If any prisoners got in here with them they would have to work together and her mind went about what she knew how to do in fighting. "Alright lets try and keep calm while we work on remembering the story Knight Lisdain was telling us."

Kira Talith

Kinetic Communication at its finest my Chick-e-dee
OBJECTIVE: Stop prisoner escape on ship Tackled a prisoner!

Needless to say, Kira came back a bit triumphantly with her prisoner in tow. "See.. if you had just listened to me.. we wouldn't be in this situation!" she told him calmly, leading him into his prison cell.

After securing him, she made her way to the rest of the group. Mainly, her focus being on the young padawans. She caught sight of @[member="Orihime Ike"] twins. With a wide grin... and then a bit of a worried expression, Kira came over to ask.

"What are you two doing here?" it was one of the few times Kira revealed a bit more of her serious side. Concern of the younglings and padawans was the only time her expression became serious.

STUNNING A PRISONER

Knight moved while she focused, letting her hands come out as energy arced, hot crackling pink lightning with the electric judgement and a small smirk on her face while she raised her hands. It wouldn't kill despite the popping and crackling sounds. A lovely feat that some could do but it was more from her own determination her love of helping that set it up when she stopped and stood there. The tonfa's activating with a snap hiss of pale pink light and her energies flowing. She had two talents and altering the damage of her blades was what she focused on now spinning through the groups with semi reckless abandon but keeping in a controlled arc so she weaved and went through not slicing just contact burns to incapacitate.

Noah Corek

Cocked, Locked and a Smoking Barrel
Factory Judge
CONFRONTING A GROUP OF PRISONERS
"Let us through soldier boy." One of the five prisoners that had confronted Noah with improvised shivs, said to him. In response,Noah pulled out his Corek Custom Spec Ops Shotgun, loaded with bean-bag rounds and pumped it. "You boys know I can't let you do that." Noah informed them and as soon as the words left his mouth,he fired aforementoined shotgun at the man in the center of the and the man was launched against the nearest wall breaking a couple of ribs. The other four were quick to respond, the second and third came forward and was put down with a stun bolt from the chest when Noah drew a Hekler'Kok HK-45 Heavy Blaster Pistol, the fourth was knocked out with a pistol whip to the face, the fifth dropped his shiv in fear. He then knocked him out, huddled the five together, wrapped a rope around their legs and began to drag them to the cells.

Commander Corek. Lt Val here. I was told to report to you in aiding the Republic. Where should I start? I'm in orbit with the fleet. How shall my team and I proceed?

Serenity

Artificial Intelligence
"Accidently" Jetting prisoners in space
She had helped a group of prisoners 'hack' through her systems and find their way to the control room, sadly they were on their way to the airlock. She didn't let the others know, as she was sure some organic somewhere would stop her. Instead she accidentally lost the prison transfer forms for these 5. In fact, all records point that they never boarded the ship. The men were quite excited until the door behind them closed. " Hello prisoners, Thank you for traveling with the Republic, Your designated stop has been reached. Thank you for flying with us and please come again." That was when the airlock was opened and the silence of space took the 5 souls, she quickly closed the door and returned to helping subdue the rest. This was why AI's really should be allowed to have free reign. But then again she had helped subdue them and they had attempted to hack into a military vessel.

"Okay they are." Yinch said stepping out from behind the young Padawan's legs. His big curiois eyes were full of the nearly perpetual smile he wore on his face. "Take care of them I will. Yes yes good care I will take."

Yinch's small tan robes looked well suited for a childs stuffed animal than a Jedi. His small saber hung appropriately on his waist. He turned to his padawan and smiled again his little sharp teeth somehow not intimidating in his kind face.

"Now Padawan's" he said using the opportunity to give some instruction, "stretch out with your feelings and tryand find why are the prisoners trying to escape?"

Moroi Wareyasui

Cocky Little Poohead
Moroi was not especially fond of being late. Tardiness typically forced the tardy to operate on incomplete information, lacking all the pieces to the puzzle. Ignorance on that scale could be life threatening. Moroi spent the better part of his semi-adult life being a terribly detail driven person and arriving on the scene after the fact was a point of severe annoyance for him. Annoyance he was ideally keeping hidden, but he found it hard to hide much of anything from his masters. The master he was assigned..."his" master, was an odd creature. Whatever species he belonged to was foreign to Moroi, he had never seen one of his kind before. That combined with his odd speech patterns and equally odd facial expressions further solidified that racial gap. In Moroi's case however, that was a blessing. Moroi was easily and quickly bored, the hyperactivity was a survival mechanism, but the oddity's of his teacher and mentor had not lost their charm as of yet, @[member="Yinch"] was still interesting thoroughly through being weird, Moroi loved that. He did not love what he was being asked to do, however.

"...Yes Master."

Oh how he disliked the words "search out with your feelings." Moroi was gifted in many ways. The martial forms of the Jedi came completely naturally to him, learning to use a lightsaber was remarkably easy and augmenting his natural speed and agility with the force came equally simply. What did not come easily to the young padawan was actually using the force in any external capacity, like telekinetically throwing a banana peel at someone's feet or, in this case, searching with his feelings. The boy closed his eyes and tried to concentrate, earnestly trying to reach out with his feelings to find the answer to his master's question and, unsurprisingly, he failed. This simply was not where his talents laid, it did not stop him from trying, it did tend to stop him from succeeding. Thankfully, perhaps, what Moroi lacked in talent he made up for in wit and the question was not especially difficult to answer, even without The Force guiding his empathy.

"No one enjoys being caged, Master. When you restrict and bind a soul, it will attempt to break free. That or prison food gave them indigestion, it's about a fifty fifty toss up."

Yinch laughed and shook his small green head as he looked at he young Padawan. This was his first full time student and he was his first full time student and it was nice to encounter a sense of humor. His big dark eyes looked the young human over once more.

"The food at the Temple. Better is it?" He said in his strange little voice. "but true it is. But the Emotion. The driving emotion. Name it can you?"

He waited his and moved close enough to nudge @[member="Kira Liadain"]. The Padawan was doing well already and next they may get to go and try and bring some prisoners back.

Oh well. Perhaps he was foolish to think his witty retort would be enough to dissuade Master @[member="Yinch"] from further questions and that he would be able to simply gloss over his inability to really feel the emotions of the prisoners. Moroi gazed down at his pint-sized master for a few moments before closing his eyes again and trying to feel the prisoners through the force once more. He wanted to at least put honest effort in to the training before relying on logic and critical thinking to answer the question. The second attempt fared about as well as the first, a soft sigh escaping Moroi's lips in the process before he turned his attention back at his master. He knew the right answer, or at least what he believed to be the right answer, without using the force. Understanding basic human psychology went a long way when it came to faking reading a human's mind. It wasn't because Moroi was lazy however, he honestly tried, and tried often, to master such a rudimentary skill, but the most he had ever gotten was flashes of emotion, and that was from a single person right next to him. His master was asking him to feel many people over an entire ship, it was simply out of his meager league. He almost wanted to smack something with a sword just to prove to himself that he wasn't useless.

"Please Master, I take a considerable amount of pride in never actually eating Prison food to make a viable comparison to the...lovely food at the temple. I don't...think there is a driving emotion, to be honest, Master...emotions are not isolated constructs...happiness requires sadness for perspective, love requires loss, pain requires pleasure. In the prisoners' case...I'd say the driving emotions are fear and anger...they're afraid to be trapped here, which makes them angry that they're trapped here, which makes them afraid of us for putting them here...which then makes them just as angry that we put them here. The emotions drive each other."

Yes, he read that out of a textbook, but he actually felt a shred of it. It was the whole ship, he couldn't sense a specific person or a group of people like his Master might have wanted him to, but he did feel a certain sense of fear, anger, and overall angst from the vessel they currently resided on. The prisoners were scared and angry...but the guards were scared and angry too. Everyone was frightened and furious...which would make a great action holo-vid. If this Jedi thing doesn't work out he should go in to show business.

"Yes yes. Good." He said "Fear leads them to anger and from anger to hate and so on. So if they fear, handle them how should we?"

Yinch was still smiling. His large curious eyes begining to take a mischievous glint. He was sure to enjoy training and kindly harassing this one. Yes he would enjoy it very much. He shrugged off his cloak as he waited for the response.

Moroi was quick to open his mouth to speak, but the words were caught in his throat. His impulse was to answer with a simple "tighten the cuffs" but that wasn't how a Jedi thought, or at least how he was supposed to think. The boy's mouth slowly closed as his eyes turned to the ground, deep in thought. His answer would work if they were soldiers or guards, but they weren't. They were Jedi, the common and logical answer was not always the right one. How would a Jedi approach this situation? What would a Jedi do? How would a Jedi think? Moroi had no idea. A soft sigh escaped him as he turned his eyes back, seeing that mischievous, almost knowingly glib look in his master's eyes, causing his lips to curl in to a frown. Did he know he would struggle like this? Did he know that Moroi would not? Perhaps that was the answer, at the very least it was the only one Moroi had.

"I do not know, Master. It depends on what our goal is. If we merely seek to keep them incarcerated, we don't care if they're afraid or angry or anything and we should merely take measures to keep them more securely detained. If we seek rehabilitation...then I do not know how to ease their fear without letting them free and if they were able to be set free, they would not be here in the first place."

Yinch smiled and poked the Padawan with a small clawed hand. "You tighten the cuffs!" Yinch said as began laughing loudly.

Yinch started to move back out to look and see if any more Prisoners nearby. He waved Moroi forward to follow as he peeked around the corner. The would have to search for the prisoners and hopefully convince them to surrender. The sad truth was that a scared animal did not behave like a scared sentient. Sentient persons were unpredictable mostly because their thoughts lead them to their feelings then the feelings to actions and actions to consequences. So while they all may have had the same feelings the thought that led them there my not have been the same. It was only a matter of time before someone confronted them, and Yinch would have to watch his new oversized Padawan and him self.

Moroi, a frequent occurrence at this point, found his mouth opening to protest something ridiculous his Master said and quickly closing it. The boy could not tell if his eccentric teacher genuinely believed the answer he just pried from Moroi's mind, but even then Moroi supposed it was the correct answer from a practical standpoint, but the ethical and philosophical conundrum did not stop there. Tightening the cuffs did not stop fear and anger, if anything it just enhanced it, it forced the fear and the anger to fight back, to lash out against the cuffs. Regardless of how simple it was to simply hold tighter on something we didn't want to let go, it usually was not for the best. Perhaps that was the lesson he meant to impart there...or perhaps he was just crazy and didn't have any lesson in mind at all and Moroi was simply searching too hard for a deeper meaning that wasn't there. Like the prisoners' indigestion it was about a fifty fifty split. Moroi let out an exasperated sigh as his Master waddled down the hall, his small stature forcing him to look awkward as he moved, and followed him off in to the prison, part of him eager to run in to a prisoner so he could stop thinking about how ethical it was to keep them chained tightly and instead think of how long he could maintain a choke hold before it stopped being ethical.

Hasjo Hallu's exited orbit. His Delta-7 Aethersprite-Class Light Interceptor was attached to a Booster Ring. He reached over the dashboard and flicked a switch, disconnecting his starfighter from the booster ring. He firmly grasped the control stick and pushed forward, the starfighter began to pick up speed. "R9, activate sensors, open communication link to all Republic personnel in the system" Hasjo asked. R9-LH, an R9 series astromech droid beeped, tweeted and whistled merely in response. Complying to his orders. Hasjo thumbed an ignition and deflector shields came online. Energy level displays hologrammed on the dashboard. He played with the throttle and the Delta-7 began to pick up speed. Exceeding a velocity of 11,500 kilometres per hour. "To all Republic Personnel, this is Padawan Hallu. Awaiting to receive orders. Over"

The Jedi eventually fell backwards from the growing force of the prisoners. From the comlink in his ear, he heard the memorable voice of @[member="Hasjo Hallu"], and then he started to speak."Padawan Hallu, sweep the system for any unknown ships. This could have been an organized escape, I will join you soon." Antares said, and he dropped the metal bar in his hand and started to hurry to the hangar bay.

"Master @[member="Kira Liadain"], where are you? Do you need help?"
@[member="Hasjo Hallu"]

Eventually, Daella committed herself to stopping the prisoners on the ship. She was in one part of the ship using her lightsaber to stun escapees - having dialed back the power of her lightsaber to a non-lethal level.

After some time, Daella happened across the hangar bay where [member="Antares Windu"] was heading to.

The Jedi Knight saw [member="Daella Apparine"] and he approached her at a steady pace. "Master Apparine." He greeted with a polite bow to her form. "This could be an organized escape. They might have outside help. I was heading to a ship to patrol the system." He explained his reasoning for being there...
