Super-Construct, the largest of six on the planet surface. It is the new home of the Vaydralen on the planet, the other smaller ones housing variations of Draelvaier and Vaydralen working together in even amounts where as the capital is almost entirely Valdralen. It is very much like most Super-Constructs, however it is also decorated by Vaydralen statues and sandstone art works; an important expression of their culture.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: Vaydralen
  • Immigrated Species: Draelvasier

  • Demographics: Primarily Vaydralen
  • Primary Languages: Draelvasier
  • Culture: Caerdar is a world that emphasises harmony between nature and life. Its vast and beautiful landscape of tropical islands and sun-glazed desert tundra and water left mostly untouched by technology or industry. The culture of the planet represents an amalgam of the Bryn'adûl & Vaydralen culture. The co-existence of the two works so well because the inherent conceptual similarities between the two.

The Draelvasier and Caerdar's natural Vaydralen inhabitants both warrior cultures with a focus on honour, this easily translated to the more zealous and extreme strength-based fixations of the Draelvasier. Due to their technological superiority also retaining tribute and links to nature and the force - the Vaydralen did not see them as the heretics they perceived pirates and raiders as, rather they saw the Draelvasier as a species further down the path of the Galaxy than them. Thusly this naivety and ignorance allowed the Draelvasier to be able to 'educate' and further indoctrinate the Vaydralen smoothly into their own culture. Essentially, the Vayralen saw it as a natural evolution.

The world whilst retaining a respect for nature, is a highly militarised world; with a focus on meritocracy and the genocidal conquest of the Bryn'adûl.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Militant, meritocratic, occult, dictatorship
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
  • Wealth: None | They have no concept of wealth
  • Stability: High
  • Freedom & Oppression: Outward showings of strange emotion or a lack of discipline was already shunned by the Vaydralen before the Bryn'adûl arrived. Now, the fierce war machine of the Bryn has implemented its harsh and occult systematic oppression of anything that does not coincide with their way of thinking. Of course, some cultural aspects of the Vaydralen has been retained, but only those things that have fell in line with the way of the Bryn. [Essentially any info mentioned in this submission.] Re-education centres and such have been dispersed throughout the continent sized Super-Construct that acts as the planet's capital.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: A fortress world, protected by several dedicated military Super-Constructs and defensive outposts across the planet.
  • Technology: Bryn'adûl Equivalent | Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
Before the arrival of the Draelvasier, raiders and pirates terrorised the many tribes and warring nomads of the Vaydralen. Soon enough, more benevolent arrivals began to show certain groups of less aggressive Vaydralen new technologies. This, thusly branded them as heretics and 'synthetic' and immoral. This matter was seemingly impossible to be settled peacefully as certain Vaydralen began to augment themselves artifically with cybernetics brought in for the exchange of Vaydralen warrior-slaves.

This outrage lead the Vaydralen to explode into a violent series of skirmishes, a war on a small scale but large enough to involve a majority of the power houses within their species. They have a long and bloody history, often over retaining tradition. In almost each conflict, after a series of multiple conflicts two warriors of renown rise through the ranks and eventually, engage in single combat to decide the outcome of the conflict. Always fought to the death.

This in truth, was what lead to the beginnings of their relations with the Bryn'adûl. When they arrived it was in the middle of this fatal battle, intervening to suggest an alternative. To turn their weapons against the rest of the Galaxy, not their own. To test their warriors against those who require it. The Vaydralen slaughtered their augmented brethren and the new 'settlers' who had brought the new technologies with them.

There are three things I would like to look at here.

1. Unexploited Resources | You have left this blank. I would normally suggest to put N/A here, but since this is a planet there are sure to be some kind of unexploited resources even if there are no imports or exports. It would be good to see you come up with something here.

2. Culture | You mention the culture of the two species mesh well together. Why is that? How do the mesh together? What elements do they have in common? What parts do not work well together? I would like to see you expand on this since anyone could find themselves playing on this planet if they chose to.

3. History | I would love to see you expand on this. My biggest question is what happened before all the violence broke out. If you could answer that question for that would help this along.

Good work, gentlemen. This is good to go. A little insight on the "Unexploited Resources" request for the future.

Unexploited Resources: [ Does this planet have resources that are not yet utilized by the population? Common materials and ores should just be listed (Ex. Durasteel ore), while anything special or rare should be linked. ]

1.) It shouldn't be blank. "Unexploited Resources" may not be known to the common populace - But we still need to know what is present OOC so that we may encounter it. It's just like how a "Location" can't be left blank. You can say it's hard to find but OOC I still need to know where it is.

2.) Thank you for linking, but, as the template says - You only need to link anything special or rare. So it's not too much of a hardship.

Thank you for working together to get it done. Enjoy! [APPROVED]
