STRENGTHS

The White Knight: In addition to striking a dashing figure on any battlefield, the Knight-Errant Armour is a fully augmented, military-grade suit of powered armor. It not only protects the wearer, but servers to bolster their physical and combat potential.
Shield of Force: The Armor generates a curved force field in front the user when the two bracers are brought together, capable of absorbing and reflecting energy back in the direction it came from.

WEAKNESSES

Sad Fanfare: Sonic based attacks are a liability for this armor, significantly affecting the enhanced sensor suit incorporated in the helmet. Due to the exposed sections of the inner layers, it is highly recommended the wearer avoid exposure or submersion in acidic or similar corrosive substances.
Tech Heavy: While the installed combat de-ionizer affords decent protection against the effects of ionic energy, exposure to sufficiently high levels will still render this suit's finer features inoperable.
Shield Dilemma: The shield is only projected directly in front of the user, meaning that attacks from a different angle are still entirely valid. Because of how the device works, depending on the angle it catches the shield, there is the potential that the reflected energy may inadvertently cause collateral damage to the surrounding area/bystanders. It should be further noted that, while this device can protect the user from a variety of energy attacks, it has an overall limit to how much it can absorb/reflect. Sustained blaster cannon fire will quickly deplete the energy cell, for example.

DESCRIPTION

While not the first set of armor commissioned from TOTT by a Jedi, the Knight-Errant is certainly a lot more combat orientated than the earlier stealthy number that was produced. Due to the all too common prevalence of force disrupting technology, this armor was purposefully designed without any reliance on the force whatsoever. Instead it focuses heavily on increasing the wearer’s own physical capabilities through purely technological means, thereby allowing them to retain a degree of their formidable combat potential even while their force abilities are neutralized.
With that in mind, the armor itself relies on three separate layers of protection:
  • The innermost layer provides only a basic amount of protection and instead serves to augment the wearer’s physical capabilities and offset the strain subsequent layers would place upon the body. It achieves this by utilizing reactive fibers woven throughout a bodyglove, increasing reaction speed, strength and overall damage resilience. It also regulates their overall physical condition.

  • Considered the first ‘true’ level of armor, the middle layer is actually surprisingly mundane and primarily composed of a fairly simple combination of armorweave and spacers leather. Mundane or not, this offers a solid amount of protection to any areas exposed by the final plates.

  • The final layer is a set of bonded Tydirium-Phrikite alloy plates. Not only visibly distinctive due to the pure white finish, these plates are extremely robust and provide exceptional protection against lightsabers, blasters and kinetic impacts. Movement and jump servos have been further incorporated so as to increase mobility.
The helmet is also fully kitted out with a variety of sensory enhancements, communication systems (including a beckoner), music player, and even a proprietary tin foil hat band to artificially protect the wearer from mentalism. It is also rated against hard vacuum and aquatic mishaps, featuring a rebreather and oxygen recycler suitable for prolonged use. External additions include a standard utility belt and harness, a spacers leather kama, a cortosis-impregnated warden cloak with optional hood and safety packs to arrest falls from height. A final knife was included just because.
