How did Russian tanks end up in the hands of people fighting the Russians? How did the SS end up with enough US military hardware to infiltrate American Lines at the battle of the buldge? How did the Rebel Alliance (the one from the movies) end up with any of their equipment? How did the Japanese end up fighting German tanks in China when they were allied with the germans? Crap happens.

Jyn this isn't passive aggressive...It's legitimate discussion regarding the actions of the Omega Protectorate...And it is extremely relevant to the discussion here as it involves the use of OP ships flying for the ACA against a Republic ally during an invasion of a Republic ally's planet. There's nothing about the discussion that isn't relevant. I'm confused as to why this should be moved to PM when it directly involves four factions and this invasion.

How is this germane to the invasion exactly? Not the political situation after, but the invasion itself right now? I came here because I had people over and am two days late to the party cause I couldn't post. I was hoping reading the thread designed to clear things up OOCly to help facilitate things IC would help me actually get a handle on things so I could post. Boy was I wrong.

I remember when I first joined this forum, Ashin asked me to join and transfer a Sith character (this character) from another forum. The FIRST thing I did was get involved in the Invasion of Junction. I came in and was told "Hey the Mandalore needs someone to fight him." Mandalore at the time was [member="Sarge Potteiger"]'s alt. I then added him to skype and we talked things over out of character and I ended up having a ton of fun. I think he did too...

Invasions have since deteriorated. I was going to participate in this one. My character being a founding member of the TechnoUnion in the CIS and I come back and started to join the ACA but honestly... meh. I'm turned off to the idea of participating in this invasion now.

Invasions don't have to be like this.

Right now Kayleigh is aboard a Republic ship after having undergone surgery...She won't be doing much of anything right now. I only made the statement OOCly because the writers should be aware of how the Republic is going to see this.

However even still, I'm sure someone through the RA would communicate this information back to the Republic before the war ended. It's not like this information would be entirely a secret.

I don't want anyone to take it as a personal attack or anything. I only thought it relevant to make reference to.

Ayden's an enigma, how the republic is going to see him doing chit in relation to the ACA with OP warships isn't a concern of the Invasion right now.

Just roll with it. It's a valid war fleet, and he at least has the permission OOC, which is all that's needed.

If we had to IC do out everything it would suddenly become very very boring.

Um, the Russians and Germans and Americans all legitimately had captured that equipment in battle. The Japanese fought German tanks in China because the Germans sold the Guomindang (Chinese Nationalists) Panzer I's and Panzer II's before the termination of their military and economic exchanges in 1937 following the Japanese invasion. Not to be snarky or a know it all....sorry...I've got three history degree and had to say something!

So let me get this straight: The Ghosts of Corellia, a group flying OP ships under the command of Ayden Carter with vessels that he commanded at Corellia, has no known ties to him??? I'm confused. There is little to no public information as to the origins of the group, their base of operations, or who leads them. There is nothing to formally tie them to Corellia, or Ayden for that matter.

Are you or are you not part of a faction? Are the Ghosts of Corellia a part of the Omega Protectorate or are they not? We need a straight answer in order to figure out whether or not you or we are in the wrong here. If you are indeed still part of Omega Protectorate and Sage gives you the go ahead, then we'll play it out. If you are not, then we have a problem.
