"Identify yourself!"

Morgan kept a running list of what the Confederate needed when out in the field like this with retina scans for all operatives, Force users and Viceroyals being top on that list. The weapon she held was extremely dangerous to both droids and living beings and it would be ashamed if she pointed it at the wrong target. Perhaps a visit with the Vicelord was in order. The HRD was programmed now to hold the health and safety of Confederates in the highest regard. And with the recent memory wipe stray thoughts of the past were not there to haunt her.

The droid pointed the sonic blaster away from [member="Scherezade deWinter"], noting how many disabled mechanicals there were now.

“I’m Morgan Redeaux, Commander of Fire Squad. Apologies for surprising you, I haven’t been back in service for awhile. Repairs and such.” Just then she heard the Exarch’s order:

“All forces. The droids have turned on us. Regroup in the old Tarro settlements and defend yourselves until the fleet can support and evacuate us.”

“Mistress, do you need cover?” the platinum-haired replica asked.

There was little time for the Sephi to talk and connect once more, Lirka’s (albeit, very damaged) comm System flared in her helmet as the news of the droid betrayal roared across the assaulting forces of the CIS. It seemed she had work to do, turning to her new Warriors she was quick to fire out a command in Sephi.

“Thylyrn, eil cor aelaesia pyr o mi.”

It was a simple command, follow her lead and kill every droid they saw. They didn’t question, but instead in unison roared out their own response: the uttermost loyalty to the reamins of the crown:

“Or, tia cel!”

And with that the fury of Thustra was unleashed, even without her weapon Lirka snagged her abused and damaged helmet and slide it over her head: no more satisfying hiss when that happened, seems it needed a good handful of repairs (that could go for her entire body though) and began to run...right for the edge of a wall. Without a second thought she leapt right over and into the fray of battle, like loyal hounds her honor guard all rushed in to follow, torn robes billowing in the destructive fall to the ground.

Alas, with her Klaive a broken mess back on the walls she was forced to rely almost entirely on the ever hated Force for this. Grunting at the prospect she allowed herself time to tap into those abilites: progressively pushing herself to move faster and faster, a Missile just waiting to collide with the ground. And the ground quickly became a quite unfortunate GAT Tank, one of her own, that had been peppering away at Confederate forces. A violent crash followed as she landed with a ton of bricks, caving in the head of the droid tank and demolishing the droid brain within. Her Honor Guard landed not long afterwards, deft movements and glowing weapons ready to hack and slash. Numerous Droids turning to face the warrior and her retinue.

And then the slaughter began.

Upon landing to the ground the masked assassin did not waste time getting her side arms out, firing indiscriminately at the wave of droids in front of them. "Da and neit, I have iron detonators and weapons to take down many droid, but not an entire army". Her roles was an assassin after all, when it came to combat she was more confused on taking out single important targets, not crowd control.

While swapping mags with a spare hand she too did not fail to notice the new arrival, a wary finger on trigger in case the person was on the opposing side. Said being identified themselves as fire squad... "I do not know about this squad you command, nor do I care". "As long as you shoot straight and true that is good enough", she replied, downing a few more of the mechanical warriors as the duo advanced, clearing out the streets.

Madalena stared at the white haired… Woman? Droid? What was the proper term? But if she was a droid, why had she not turned on them like the rest of the droids had?

“Three minutes to extraction take off!” she roared over the sound of fires being exchanged. “What we need is to make it there with as many people as possible. Move! NOW!”

With that she pulled both of her lightsabers out, using the Force to control them as they were part of her precious knife collection. Emerald green blade flew bak and forth, hitting droids where she hoped their CPU components were, taking them out. Combined with the hailstorm Fortmota was unleashing, they were managing to do quite a good ob.

“TWO MINUTES TO TAKE OFF!” Madalena screamed. They had to start running within a few seconds or they wouldn’t make it.

When Lirka got into it, she was quite the sight. Of course no one was actually looking but it was amusing enough to watch her go to town against the droid horde with...well just her fists and the Force. Not exactly the best odds, but those new Honor Guard had proved to be a lifesaver to a disturbing degree: their weapons twisted and spin, removing the limbs of Droids with hissing strikes and crushing them with the concussion parts of the bottom. But, regardless, Lirka advanced without a single care in her heart. Even as she staggered as Blaster bolts ringed and struck against her armor. Anger was a powerful tool.

She punched another droid, caving in it’s chest with the force enhanced strike before swinging around and knocking it’s head off.

“Advance! We get out of here, or we leave a pile of scrap!”

She was unflinching, utterly fearless under the advancing horde, even without a weapon she was an icon of destruction. Fists swung and struck Droids into broken pieces of scrap, praise be to having strong gauntlets. She attempted to talk into her comm, whoever actually heard it would get hit with the static and choppy nature of her damaged systems.

“This is Marshal Lirka Ka, support is required! We are still stuck near the stronghold! I repeat, support is required!”

It was...a very aggressive call for aid.

Mishel ran a hand through her hair and scoffed, "keep dreaming princess."

She watched Ale a moment or two while she geared up. Then Ale talked again and gave something that resembled orders but Mishel's hand brushed along a vibrodagger that [member="Shia Kryze"] had left behind. Her upper lip twitched slightly, she stood in the doorway of their cabin - Shia had gone to take care of her own business but it left the would-be Jedi feeling a little more alone that she normally did. Lightly armed. Mishel rolled her eyes and grabbed the vibrodagger anyway as she called her lightsaber to her side. "Well then I can tell them where they can stick their rules." She gave Alessandra a tight smile.

The brunette adjusted her shrug jacket and dusted off the patches on her shoulder. Mishel nodded in acknowledgment to her sister, "ready to set fire to this ball of dirt." It was then that Ale handed her a necklace, "what in Illyria's name is this?" ... "Right."

The older of the two drove while Ale spoke the sounds of bombing could be heard, the Confederacy was certainly very good at making their presence felt. Mishel narrowed her gaze on the road ahead there was something on the horizon. A check point most likely, Mishel came to a stop in the speeder and looked over at Alessandra and climbed out of the vehicle. "I can only guess that mom and pop silver spoon taught you to drive, so." She gave Alessandra a mock two finger salute followed by the finger. The large patch on the back of her jacket held the symbol of the resistance.

Check points, patrols - they would be expecting the two to approach the route. Left an opportunity to be caught in a trap or a sniper's eye, Mishel shoved her hands into her pockets and disappeared into what could be considered 'wood-works.' [member="Marakai Al'Orren"] had been teaching her how to disappear and make herself less visible to others. A thing that Mishel had taken time to actually learn, she scanned the check point ahead and sighed. Yeah they were definitely waiting for them... Now it was time to let the fun begin she focused on a spot between the check point. Where explosives no doubt laid, took aim and launched a fireball.

“Fall back!” Morgan shouted, listening to Ms. deWinter. Extraction was only two minutes away.

The HRD calculated that it was equal to 120,000,000,000 nanoseconds.

Plenty of time, she thought with a smile.

“This is Marshal Lirka Ka, support is required! We are still stuck near the stronghold! I repeat, support is required!”

“I’m programmed to leave no one behind. Especially an organic, Ms. deWinter,” the droid explained as she skipped backwards, the Geonosian sonic blaster firing off a few rounds every couple of steps. But Morgan’s calculations showed that it was far too dangerous for anyone, even a mechanical - especially a mechanical - to go back into the hot zone.

“Marshal Ka, you will need to evacuate or we’re leaving Seltos without you.” It pained her to give the order, but a super computer’s prediction was rarely wrong.

As [member="Darth Metus"] executed his plan to test her fellow Exarch Srina turned her attention toward the problem at hand. While he may have wanted to get a solid grasp on what [member="Adron Malvern"] was capable of there was still a ‘Merchant Rebellion’ that needed to be crushed. From what she understood they were attempting to handle the issue with as much civility as possible but it was proving difficult. The majority of the Seltos leadership wanted this partnership to go through. There was just one creature, one ignorant, selfish, foolish beast standing in the way of progress.

Not only was he standing in the way—but he was militarizing his people and placing others in harm’s way that had nothing to do with it. He was besmirching the Confederacy to the Holo-Net for things they hadn’t done.

Now, at least, they would give Ru Baruba something to talk about.

Their transport landed, cut off from the rest, but they were still able to figure out where they were needed. At first, the fighting went smooth. There was a sense of familiarity in fighting alongside [member="Nysana Talon"] and her Master that made everything feel as if it had been done before. Practiced. They knew her style just as well as she knew theirs and it made dispatching enemies that much simpler. Though communications had been cut due to the scheming of Darth Metus—The mission still moved.

Adron kept things going. Srina knew he would. There was something about the Serenno man that the wintry woman always found faith in. Her friendship with him was beyond strange, to others, when they realized that he’d once put a poisoned sword through her chest cavity…But it was true. Not to mention that the masses liked to conveniently forget that she’d stabbed him back. Most literally, in the back.

Ah, memories.

The success of the mission changed in an instant. Srina wouldn’t be able to say exactly when it happened, how, or why—but where there was a noticeable sway in their troops. A live update went through, unheard of during an operation, and in seconds they began to hit both sides. They targeted the CIS and had no trouble mowing through any other Citizens of Seltos that got in their way. This little error in programming, or whatever it was, couldn’t have arrived at a more inopportune time. Some of the Knights and Dauntless had managed to scramble data together from other battalions.

Silver eyes shifted toward [member="Darth Metus"] as she reiterated the intel, crouched low, while blaster bolts exploded the dirt near her head. Her lips pressed into a thin line at the mild annoyance.

“The Oligarch has escaped. Our droids have turned against us. The only saving grace is that the governing bodies of Seltos will fall in line without Ru Baruba around to spread anti-Confederate sentiment. We should deploy the rest of the Dauntless Units waiting in orbit to retain order here and then extract to reevaluate the situation at a higher level. We need to regroup and contain this.”

She knew that her dreadlocked Master would not argue. Her reasoning, as usual, was filled with logic among notions of wisdom that did not typically befit one so young. There was no way of knowing exactly what happened without accessing their databases. Their droids were state of the art and firewalled to heaven and back. The notion of someone taking control of their units or manipulating their code?

It was an unmitigated disaster.

Having a sister was entertaining. Her brother, Gunther, was mostly a bore. It was partially due to the fact that the Order was a bore. He had grown up in a very militant lifestyle that had colored his perspective of the galaxy to something she couldn’t abide. Things were different now, but, he was trapped in a story of the past. Incapable of change.

Alessandra looked at Mishel and saw something different.

A street rat, totally and completely, but there was a certain rustic charm to her.

Her eyes rolled heavenward when the brunette spat back a few words about the rules. She should have known better than to mention anything as heinous as general protocol. Or, as it seemed, anything regarding a plan. Infiltrating the HQ that Ru Baruba had barricaded off from the rest of Seltos was supposed to be simple. Easy. They had a clean route to the compound and would have been able to provide live data back to [member="Adron Malvern"] so that he could plan the siege accordingly.

Mishel had other ideas. Alessandra sighed, again, when her sister hopped out of the speeder. She was still trying to get her contacts back online but no one had responded to her communications. It wasn’t promising. Normally, the Minister would have traveled with a full security detail, but her presence was meant to be kept as quiet as possible. If it didn’t pan out for either side?

Alessandra was never there.

“You’re lucky you’re pretty under all that sass.”, Ale responded with a rather shark-like smile, sliding over in the seat, so she could provide the other half to their ruse. “It keeps me from slapping it out of you.”

She drove the land speeder forward as her sibling flanked the incredibly annoying opposition. They didn’t start firing on Alessandra right away, but, that changed quickly when Mishel began filling their faces with fireballs. It was something they both held in common with their shared mother.

Flame came easily.

Rather than slow down she was able to drive around the barricade and attack the other side of the people manning the checkpoint. They weren’t supposed to be firing. Had the Oligarch already changed the rules of his own engagement so quickly? It wasn’t long into this debacle that her comms flared to life for a moment. Her contact said that Ru Baruba had fled. Chit. Already? What had changed?

They also said to beware the robots.

As the marching feet of a droid unit crested over a nearby hill she soon found out why. The droids called in their orders and began to take formation. Without preamble, they began to fire on the land speeder that she occupied. Alessandra was surprised. Droids could occasionally shoot like drunk Mandalorians but this wasn’t the same. They were targeting her. The crystal around her neck nearly cracked when her arms spread out to drop a telekinetic dome around the transport to keep it safe.

‘Mishel! Something is wrong! This mission has been aborted... We need to go. Now!’

She could maintain sufficient shields for a little while but while constantly being bombarded? They wouldn’t last. The sounds of shots being deflected made her teeth grind together. If Ru Baruba had jumped ship, there was no reason to continue, and it was almost a suicide mission if the droids were on the fritz. What was wrong with this unit? She tried yelling every code, every disarmament she possibly could, but they remained steadfast.

Eventually, she had little choice but to attune her comm to a frequency she was loathe to use. She didn’t like to ask for help. Especially, when it felt like she’d failed before making landfall. “Adron—There’s a droid unit that’s gone rogue. They’re attacking us and there’s too many of them. Can you shut them down remotely?”

<<::Thank you. There’s no better view than from on high—That’s for sure.::>>

As a Sky Marshall, if he loved his work, he would understand. It didn’t matter that they were firing on miscreants below. The beautiful sky overhead made it worth it. The careful greeting was interrupted by a series of pings appearing on her HUD.

Naedira felt her lips pull into a frown when her sensors eventually displayed a series small shuttles leaving the compound ahead. It wasn’t unusual in itself. The enemy was coming to kick in their doors with a force made of metal and wrath. Of course, they would begin evacuation of non-essential personnel. At least, they would, if they didn’t want to be held accountable for the death of innocent civilians. It was the inherently cowardly nature that the Merchant had displayed which left her feeling uneasy. Hiding behind his people.

Why not hide behind them now? When the chips were down, when the HQ was almost taken, why not?

That wasn’t for her to decide. Way too far above her pay grade.

Regardless, hearing that @Kurayami Boodborn was still running on full steam made all the difference. Even if the snake did get away they could still secure the compound. Perhaps from there they could track his movements? <<::Anytime. I’m going to make another pass…::>>

She let her ship move in a slightly wider arc to ensure there wouldn’t be any crossfire and once again fired where she could see enemy forces setting up checkpoints. Naedira had almost been ready to run another circuit when an announcement pulled through her comms. Protocol 9.9.9? What was that? The communications were full of exploding chatter on several different wavelengths. <<::Did you catch that? What it Protocol 9.9.9?::>>

Her question was answered soon enough as some of the droid battalions below began to fire on them. Naedira banked a hard right to avoid the more dangerous attacks, but her shields held, and dealt with any wild blaster shots. Her chest felt tight, briefly. Was this happening all over Seltos? She didn’t even want to think about the possibility of the glitch happening on a grander scale…

Regardless – Confederate forces would need cover. Not just from Ru Baruba’s men but from their own forces. Not good. Not good at all. They were already reporting that the would-be dictator had fled…

<<::This isn’t good. What do you say we make sure our people get out alive and then get the kark out of here?::>>

Mishel didn't need to be told twice about their current SNAFU. The Tygaran's lightsaber sprung to life, and left her hand the moment it did so. The lightsaber hummed in the air as it careened toward a set of droids firing on Alessandra. "Why is it always droids, why?!" She cursed whilst memories of Mustafar's invasion ran through her mind. Flickering with images of her solo crusade through Vader's castle against wave after wave of droids. The lightsaber returned to her hand just as she landed behind another set of droids tossing them about with a gust of Force push. "I sure hope that pistol you brought has an ion setting!" She shouted as the only way out seemed to be to go through the wave of droids.

Evoking the memories of Mustafar, Mishel did her best to resist the lure of the dark side as fire flew from her finger tips. Service to Seiger Ren and the indoctrination of the Knights of Ren now forward in her mind she now knew [member="Coren Starchaser"]'s expression. Having to battle the dark with the light, it would be so easy to give in right now. Instead she held steadfast to the teachings of [member="Marakai Al'Orren"] and roared with defiance in the face of her demons. A line of fire swept between Alessandra and the droids as Mishel slid between the blaster fire and her sister's telekinetic dome. Her upper lip curled into a snarl the darkness begged to be unleashed instead she reached once more for her lightsaber and as the flames began to die down she hit with another wave of telekinetic force.

Her lightsaber just barely deflected one bolt then another, relax - let the force take hold - she told herself. Taking a deep breath she relaxed and let the force be her guide. Deflect, deflect and another gush of fire this time a wave from the near extinguished flames roared to life.

Considerable forces stood between Adron and [member="Alessandra Creed"] yet one after another they would all fall. The remnants of Ru Baruba's droids were still engaging some of the renegade Confederate battle droids, making it rather easy for the Exarch to move through the battlefield. The terrain had already been mapped out and studied to the point where not after long Adron had closed the distance between the compound and his landing site. His corrupted eyes gazed at the compound for a lingering moment before he realized that Alessandra was no longer inside. He cold feel her tapping into The Force, drawing from it's power. However he could not feel that presence coming from the structure before him.

She was close.

The Exarch glanced down to his blade which was covered in a thick coating of grease and oils. Carving through droids was much easier when you had the blazing heat of a lightsaber to back your thrust. His blade quickly found home in the sheathe on his side. It was a weapon better used for cutting down flesh and blood soldiers. For these droids he would need something far more powerful. A loud snap-hiss erupted as a purple hue fell over the area around him. The hilt of his lightsaber was far more comfortable and familiar than his blade. Though it did not have all of the devastating qualities of a sword alchemized with the Dark Side of the Force, it was a powerful weapon in it's own right.

He set his focus on the soft shimmers that Alessandra sent through The Force. His eyelids lowered for the slightest moment as he tried to pinpoint her presence until finally....There!

He could feel her as clear as day. His legs moved before he realized it and immediately he was in a full sprint. She was even closer than he had thought, but something was wrong. She was not just using The Force as a tool, but as a weapon to defend herself.

The droids came in sight as Adron climbed a hill overlooking Ru Baruba's estate. He could hear their mass of blaster fire raining down on the land below them but he still could not see Alessandra. It was not until that her voice filled his ears that he knew she was unharmed. From his commlink she had spoken and that caused the man to show the faintest smile as he moved to the droid's rear position. His lightsaber would die back into the emitter as he placed it back on his waist where he had found it. The droid's were in a standard attack formation, some advancing on the woman's position as the remainder fired from the hill.

He took a good look at the droids before him, outstretching his hands towards the soulless soldiers. Two of the droids had seen him, turning to fire on the Exarch and extinguish his life. Their perception had been entirely too slow. A loud crack occurred, as if a tree had been snapped in half and ripped from it's base. In the briefest flash a streak of purple lightning traced from one of his hands to the other and then.....Calamity.

The full power of the Sith Lord was released onto the Droid's before him. A storm of lightning flew from one of the droids to the next until all were caught in his hellish lash of Force Lightning. His mind had been cleared and focused. In the end none of the droid's were able to budge from their fate, not even the two that had seen the Exarch in advance. A loud series of wines and pops occurred until each of the droid's overloaded and fell to the ground. Once the final droid collapsed Adron's hands fell. His breathing had gone out of rhythm and his head was aching from the display of his power. He cleared his throat before looking up to Alessandra and the woman who stood beside her. "No....But....I can disable them.....manually." He said through paced breaths.

[member="Alessandra Creed"] [member="Mishel Noren"]

The only sound that came from the Marshal's comms was the sound of her comm being crushed with the force. Lirka was truly a force to be reckoned with when she was enraged, maybe, if one truly strained their ears they could hear a bestial roar come from the chaos of battle. A cry of raw anger channeled through the force as Lirka spat out a command to her honor guard, the small quartet of warriors had carved a circle of destroyed parts around their Queen but it seemed to matter little.
"Move out! We make for the landing zone! KILL ANYTHING THAT MOVES!"

Lirka shouted out the last bit rather unintentionally, but it mattered not. The enraged warrior had made her wishes clear. And as one savage entity they advanced on the droids. It was a pure swath of raw carnage that followed them. And it was right now that Lirka truly missed her Klaive, and it made her eternal rage simmer even hotter, the Dark Side ran through her veins, those accursed gifts burned, the accursed force burned within her.

And Lirka let it loose, channeling only her hatred into her ever basic abilities she was able to become a creature to fear: with only her clawed gauntlets to use, it was an impressive display. If not for the horrendous amount of shots she was adsorbing with armor or undersuit. Even as a bolt rocked into Lirka's shoulder, her hand swung and found itself buried deep into the chest of a droid, tearing out it's inner systems in a bathing gush of internal fluids. A gruesome display of carnage always followed this woman it seemed, be it organic, be it droid, carnage followed her.

Not to understate the calculated efficency of her new honor guard though, seasoned veterans a fair bit older than their Queen; they fought a simple and brutal machine. Glowing Glaives swung in arcs, or charges at the base of their staff unleashed brutal shockwaves into the enemy. If they bested Lirka with relative ease, a warrior, while nothing to truly make a mark on the Galaxy, with skill greater than many of the masses who wore the same titles as her, there was little mere droids presented as a challenge but sheer numbers. And as another sweeping arc decapitated several droids in one brutal swing...it seemed numbers would matter little to the seasoned fighters.

The most amusing part of their suicidal charge? It was working, not well, but it was working. Slowly but surely they had began to make a small path through this seemingly unrelenting horde of droids, amusingly most of these units had been under Lirka's command: not that it mattered now, they were naught but scrap. Very much scrap. Wherever her hands touch it left a practically mechanical gore, like one droid felt as she tore it's head off: her sharpened claws dug deep into it's photoreceptors. Rearing her head back, her helmet actually partially melted on one side and a horn entirely missing after all the damage taken, Lirka roared out to the other CIS members. She barely expected them to hear her, but the statement simply felt like it needed to be made:

"IF YOU LEAVE ME ON THIS FORSAKEN ROCK I WILL TEAR YOUR HEART OUT THROUGH YOUR THROAT!"

Obviously. The Sephi was not one for being anatomically correct when she was mad. With a renewed brutality stemming from her proclamation, Lirka pushed on with even greater savagery. Her Honor Guard? Not a single question raised, such was the unflinching loyalty of the centuries old Warriors. The civilians could be quite thankful they had been evacuated, anyone stupid enough to be in the way of the Sephis advance wouldn't be sparred, fauna, droid, civllian, no one.

Fomrota reloaded one of her blaster pilots while firing the other, a constant flow of blaster bolts flowing from her body as the small group made towards the extraction. Though focused on the main task at hand she did not fail to note the fact about [member="Lirka Ka"] and her current problem with evacuating from the area. What would one expected from such rash and 'charge forward' actions earlier in the battle.

"You guys can go ahead I will meet up with misses elf general what you call it". "Though it will take time sooner or later these droids will run out of batteries and with all the weapons around I won't be running out of ammo anytime soon". Along with the B1's being quite stupid and easy to fool and her current mastery of stealth tactics staying in an enemy controlled city would be a cake walk.

"All I expect from such a task is a little more pay then usual, certainly the CIS can afford that no"? Regardless of her loyalties at the end of the day Formrota was still mercenary and fought for pay.

Two minutes to take off. Madalena began to round up the civilians, pushing them, pulling them, protecting them. [member="Formorta"] had chosen to stay behind and give them cover and that was fine. The HRD was with them as well, as her programming allowed no one organic to remain behind.

On the whole, it was quite uneventful. While droids were shooting and people were running, everyone who mattered made it back to the extraction ship.

The doors closed once everyone was inside. Peww peww's were still happening on the planet, but for the moment, that was the headache of those who were not on the ship. Madalena had little doubt that they would deal with the rebel droids again soon enough.

For now though, they all got to breathe for another day.

All across the CIS various droid units have turned against their Generals. The most devastating of all the betrayals was on Seltos, where due to the Droid reprogramming the Oligarch Ru Baruba was able to escape from the judgement of the CIS. As various members go into hiding and escape the world there are still many questions to be asked. Why did the droids turn against the CIS? Was it Ru Baruba's Doing? How many Confederate members were killed in this treachery?

Although the people of Seltos are still eager to join The Confederacy this betrayal was a staggering blow to the Viceroyalty and their interests.

This marks the official end of the Seltos Dominion. Feel free to continue engaging or escaping from the droids as you wish. This is merely the end of the established storyline. Thank you an great work!

If Lirka had heard about the grandiose quest to go and save her, she may have given a nod of thanks. But instead she was far too busy making ground to the landing zone: in fact her carnage could almost be heard now. Droids were crushed under the Sephi's force potential unleashed in the savage display, or crushed in her metal hands. Pain seered through her entire body, but she did not relent: she didn't relent under the smell of burning, the pain throughout her chest, or how the world began to spin at random. No, she didn't give an inch to this metal trash. She wouldn't be left on this rock.

Her new Honor Guard truly had made the whole thing possible, but even those ancient warriors seemed to be getting tired now though they all seemed to hold a similar decree to that of their Queen. Be it intentional or just that simple animal-like loyalty that was bred into each of them.

And the most amusing part of this all?

They actually made it. Lirka bashing her way through to the landing zone like some wild beast, and looking quite the part: she smelled like burning metal, flesh, and hair, and was peppered with an ungodly amount of injuries for someone still actually standing.

"Get me the nearest ship!"
