- Toothless Krayt Dragon
Pirate Ship, Deep Space
This would be an easy job, they said. The wife of an Imperial High Moff was bound to pass through the area, en-route to Naboo. She would have minimal escorts and would not be expecting foul play. The plan was simple, their ship, the Toothless Krayt Dragon, was to lie in wait and ambush the transport with ion cannons and missiles with sleeping gas warheads. Once the ship was disabled, the pirates would then board it, kill the guards and crew, kidnap the Moff's wife and hold her for ransom. A fierce glint shone in the eyes of the pirates. This job would make them all filthy rich.
The trap was set and the plan was in motion. The pirate ship lay in ambush, most of its systems powered down to avoid detection. Thanks to a mysterious contact, they knew the exact time and place where their target would emerge from hyperspace and already had their weapons armed and ready to disable it.
At last, their target emerged from hyperspace just at the right time. The pirate vessel fired a salvo with its ion cannons, followed by the special missiles which would penetrate through the targeted ship's hull and release their payload of sleeping gas inside the ship.
The pirate ship would then fire its harpoons, tow their prey close and quickly board the vessels. They were a ragged bunch who were recruited by a mysterious captain for this job. They came from different worlds and were of a variety of races, ranging from a pair of Twi'lek sisters, to a group of Trandoshan slavers and the usual mixture of Humans, Duros and Rodians.
They were armed with a variety of weapons, from vibroswords, to blasters and slugthrowers. They would board their prey wearing sealed exosuits and dispatch anyone that wasn't the woman they sought. They would then get away with their captive, keeping her sedated to make sure she couldn't use her Force powers. Her husband was to be contacted at a later date and a massive ransom was to be demanded.
