    Pirate Ship, Deep Space

This would be an easy job, they said. The wife of an Imperial High Moff was bound to pass through the area, en-route to Naboo. She would have minimal escorts and would not be expecting foul play. The plan was simple, their ship, the Toothless Krayt Dragon, was to lie in wait and ambush the transport with ion cannons and missiles with sleeping gas warheads. Once the ship was disabled, the pirates would then board it, kill the guards and crew, kidnap the Moff's wife and hold her for ransom. A fierce glint shone in the eyes of the pirates. This job would make them all filthy rich.

The trap was set and the plan was in motion. The pirate ship lay in ambush, most of its systems powered down to avoid detection. Thanks to a mysterious contact, they knew the exact time and place where their target would emerge from hyperspace and already had their weapons armed and ready to disable it.

At last, their target emerged from hyperspace just at the right time. The pirate vessel fired a salvo with its ion cannons, followed by the special missiles which would penetrate through the targeted ship's hull and release their payload of sleeping gas inside the ship.

The pirate ship would then fire its harpoons, tow their prey close and quickly board the vessels. They were a ragged bunch who were recruited by a mysterious captain for this job. They came from different worlds and were of a variety of races, ranging from a pair of Twi'lek sisters, to a group of Trandoshan slavers and the usual mixture of Humans, Duros and Rodians.

They were armed with a variety of weapons, from vibroswords, to blasters and slugthrowers. They would board their prey wearing sealed exosuits and dispatch anyone that wasn't the woman they sought. They would then get away with their captive, keeping her sedated to make sure she couldn't use her Force powers. Her husband was to be contacted at a later date and a massive ransom was to be demanded.

Naboo
One of her monthly visits, lady Malvern loved the planet greatly and enjoyed visiting when her duties allowed. Aboard a transport that had the pilot and her two escorts...nova troopers best of the best, though she resented having them it made her feel like she wasn't enough to protect herself but, she accepted it as her husband wanted her protected

However nothing could stop a pirate attack like such, they barely had time to get a warning to her in the back when they were hit. The transport shook and rocked before the troopers immedialty handed a mask to anya who didn't argue and accepted it as the pilot stumbled out and fell

I want weapons raised set to kill...whoever has dared attacked us will understand their mistake

A yes ma'am went put as they raised their guns aimed straight for the door, soon as they were bright aboard the troopers moved for the door and crouched as anya drew her saber ready for when it opened....this would be a long day

A series of shudders shook the transport as the pirate ship fired its harpoons into it. The barrage of ion cannon fire continued as the captured vessel was reeled in, stopping only once the transport had been brought close enough for the thirty-or-so pirates to board it after a short spacewalk.

Breaching charges were set over the outer airlock and swiftly detonated, producing a pair of small holes through which a towing cable was attached. The pirate ship then reeled in the cable, ripping the outer airlock door with a sickening crunch.

The pirates quickly got to work. Their mechanically-savvy brethren mounted a portable ray shield over the impromptu opening, patching it in the captured freighter's own power grid and routing power to it. This allowed them to pressurize the breached airlock within minutes. Five other pirates started filing into the airlock.

Moments later, a series of breaching charges detonated at key points along the inner door, causing it to crumple in pieces. The pirates did not wait for the dust to settle. They stormed through the opening, lobbing smoke grenades and firing their blasters at the two novatroopers. The first wave of pirates was soon dead, but twenty-five more pirates had used the distraction to follow behind them. Concentrating fire on the novatroopers, the pirates advanced, several Trandoshans with vibroswords charging in ahead of the group to attack the Imperial guards.

They did not use lethal weapons against the woman, though. They wanted her alive. Instead, they set their blasters to stun and fired at her repeatedly, hoping to overwhelm her with the sheer volume of fire.

[member="Kainan Wolfe"]

Silence, darkness, with the occasional creaking of the ship low lights were the only thing. No matter, the force would be her eyes in the same as she closed her only good one. Her troopers looked around as they heard detonations and then a horrible crunching. Anya stood strong unwavering letting a breath out calmly.

Again silence, however she heard bots on metal and activate her saber that orange glow filling the area as she held it in a defensive position...she cpuld feel them coming closer and closer before they stopped...then another set of explosions as the nova troopers began firing upon the intruders taking five down before they moved for cover anya drawing widows cry, recently forged blade laced with devorian poison, the charging trandos were fired at but unfortunately her troopers couldn't get thwm.

Anya hiwever sliced them down and began blovkimg...however even the best force user can't block it all...several stun blast hit her as she yelled out in protest charging a nice fire up before letting it out and collapsing...hopimg her attempt to stop then would work

Half the pirate force had been decimated before their query, the wife of High Moff Adron Malvern, was brought down by the assault. With the woman stunned, the pirates now turned their full attention to the novatroopers, firing their weapons at them until both of them were dead.

They then proceeded to stuff Anya's limp body into a vacsuit and took her back to their ship, which released the captured transport and then fired its laser cannons at it, until it was destroyed. They dragged their dazed captive into the cargo hold of their vessel and locked her inside with two guards, making sure she was unarmed. She would be waking up soon, so the two guards had their blasters set to stun and aimed at the tied-up woman.

The rest of the pirates went on to inform their captain of their success, wild grins spread across their faces. Half of them wanted to murder the captain and keep the loot for themselves, while the other half had yet to think of this plan. But when they reached the bridge, the captain was nowhere to be found.

Outside the Toothless Krayt Dragon, space buckled and heaved, spitting out a thousand meter-long Star Destroyer right on top of the pirate vessel. Alarms sounded on the bridge of the pirate vessel, but it was already too late.

"Oi! Get yer stinkin' hides to the bridge!" sounded the commlink of one of the pirates charged with guarding Anya. "But, what about the girl?" asked the guard, a Trandoshan male with pockmarked, scaly skin and a mouth filled with sharp teeth. "Forget about the girl! The captain's nowhere t'be found and there's a Star Destroyer right on top o' us!"

That was when the pirates' ship lurched and heaved violently, sending both guards sprawling on the floor. "Oh, this en't good," said the voice again as the guard was trying to regain his footing. "They caught us in their tractor beam."

Breaching charges thudded somewhere further inside the ship, away from where Anya was kept. Then, the sounds of blasters and slugthrowers being fired. Then the distinctive snap-hiss of a lightsaber. And then, the screaming started.

Anya's two guards turned their weapons on the door and backed away from it as the sounds of blaster fire and the screams neared the cargo hold. Breaching charges blew the door right open and soldiers in wolfcloaks charged in, moving in a swift, efficient manner and fighting with a discipline that rivaled even that of the Imperial novatroopers. Wolfguards. The two pirates stood no chance and died in seconds.

The Wolfguards helped Anya to her feet, but they did not remove her shackles yet. They did not speak a word to her as they half-dragged her into the hallway, where a terrifying scene was unfolding. A Rodian male wielding a red lightsaber had engaged the remaining pirates. That was where the screams were coming from. The Sith wove and danced amongst them, his lightsaber twirling to and fro, gradually cutting the pirates to pieces in such a way that their deaths would be painful and slow. The Sith hummed a children's lullaby as he slowly tortured his victims to death.

This was Tsesh Ovrak, also known by his nickname, the Lord of Screams. Anyone who was familiar with Ession's criminal underground, knew about him and his reputation for unparalleled cruelty and sadistic pleasure for torturing and killing. His presence and that of the Wolfguards made it clear who's Star Destroyer had captured the pirate ship.

Anya would then be dragged outside into a large hangar bay, where row upon row of TIE Reapers hung from launch racks, while twenty Wolfguards and almost a hundred marines stood in formation. A few meters away, several surviving pirates were forced to kneel and then summarily executed with blaster shots to the head.

Waiting in the center of the Wolfguard formation, was a man of slightly above average height, white-streaked brown hair and eyes as blue and cold as ice. He wore a heavy leather cloak with fur padding on the shoulders, held together by a silver buckle shaped as a snarling wolf's head, over a sharply-cut military uniform that bore the insignia of rank. A blaster pistol and a lightsaber hung from his belt, discretely tucked away under the cloak.

When seeing the girl, the warlord raised an eyebrow. "Well, well. If it isn't Anya Loma. Or is it Anya Malvern, these days," spoke Kainan Wolfe in a half bored tone. "Other men in my position would count themselves lucky to stumble upon the wife of their arch enemy and then swiftly have you killed," he said, his voice bearing a dangerous tone that matched the fierce look which set in his eyes. He allowed a moment of silence to pass, in order to increase the tension in the air. "But I am not other men," Wolfe finally said, his eyes suddenly losing the look which promised violence. "Out of curiosity, tell me this. How did the wife of High Moff Malvern managed to get herself captured by the same pirates which I happened to have been hunting for weeks?"

Her mind was swirling, she hated stun rounds even when she was a criminal she hated stun rounds. They left a off feeling in your body like static on a screen just with this it didn't go away and you couldn't move...some would be rendered unconscious however lady Malvern was...a bit conscious

She felt ground beneath her...she was moving before being tied up, she groaned as she looked around her vision coming back as she blinked. She glanced at the guards then to her binds as she pulled at them before sighing and setting back to relax and think her situation over

Yet again however the excitement didn't end, yet again she heard commotion over their comms before the ship shook and she fell back with a grunt. She rolled back to her knees as she panted, the noises got closer and closer...before she heard a lightsaber...could it be adron? Had the pilot got a warning out? Smole filled the air before she saw men with...wolf looking armor running in....needless to say she was confused. Howece impressed, these men took these pirates out quickly and with such efficiently she could've swore they were her own guards

She stood with them however the bond on her legs made it so she was pretty much dragged, slowly through the ship she looked to the red glow seeing the saber as she gulped...she really hoped it wasn't the sith...she wouldn't make it out alive if it was...however they moved passed as she heard the rodians humming as she blinked

Bright lights flashed her eye before she blinked and saw the ties....did the Empire get new ships? She glanced to the marines and blinked...it wasn't the Empire...then who the hell saved her?! She was brought forth to a sharp looking man, she glanced up at him as she simply smirked...so her former name was actually known...how surprising.

She looked into his fierce eyes her own uncovered eye looking back with fire...adron arch enemy? She never knew he had one...her guard was up...then his eyes lost that look as she was confused and spoke

Well if you must know, they ambushed us right out of hyperspace now the usual pirates well organised enough they took my transport, killed my escorts and as you can see

She held her hands up showing the bonds

put me in binds and took my sword and lightsaber...now then..who are you?

Wolfe listened to explanation and then masterfully pretended to be surprised. "In that case, I suppose you're lucky these pirates stole something from us and I decided to make an example of them," said the warlord. He did not have to pretend to be surprised by her next words, however. "He hasn't told you? One would assume that such secrets aren't kept in a marriage," he said, his eyes drifting off into the distance for a moment, as he considered the possibilities. "One might wonder what else does your husband hide from you," Wolfe spoke, seemingly more to himself, hinting perhaps at a secret mistress. "When men keep secrets from their wives, it means they no longer love them. Then again, I wouldn't expect any less of an honorless cur like Malvern."

Wolfe's eyes then met hers again. "After your ordeal, I'm sure you must be hungry," he said to her, his tone polite. "Guards, remove her shackles and order the kitchen staff to have dinner for two brought up to my office," the warlord instructed. One of the Wolfguards slashed the woman's bindings with his vibrosword, freeing her limbs. Another guard said something in a comlink, presumably relaying Wolfe's order to the kitchen staff.

"Since you find yourself my guest, you will be treated properly and your safety shall be looked after while you are onboard this vessel. My ship will deliver you to the edge of Imperial space and you will be given a hyperdrive-equipped shuttle to return home," explained the man. "However, for the duration of your stay, I will ask you to stay within the areas that I will show you. This is a military vessel and you are a foreign civilian. I am sure you understand why unauthorized personnel can not be allowed free access to this ship."

"Now, if you would kindly follow me back to my office, we can resume our conversation over dinner," said Wolfe, positioning himself to the woman's left side and gently leading her with a soft touch on her back, as one would lead an old friend who was visiting his new home. Somehow, the Rodian Sith also appeared and took position behind Wolfe and his guest, while the Wolfguards formed up on either side of the warlord.

Wolfe's office was tastefully, but expensively decorated. A reading table that could be raised up to be used as a dining table, sat in the center of the room, surrounded by several couches. At the back of the room, a large viewport looked out into space and a large, wooden desk sat in front of it. An imposing, almost throne-like chair was set at Wolfe's desk, for the warlord's use, while comfortable seats were arranged in front of the desk, facing the spot where the warlord conducted business and looking into the abyss beyond.

The walls were taken up by shelves containing row upon row of holodisks and even rare paper books. The remaining walls were decorated with silver engravings depicting scenes from the battle at Krayiss II, as well as wolves chasing prey in a forest. A lavish meal would have already been brought up by the time Wolfe and his guest reached the office. The Rodian Sith would remain outside, while the Wolfguards took up positions on either side of the room, silent and motionless.

Yea maybe she was lucky, though why was a star destroyer here in the naboo system...maybe simple patrol? Who knows. He went on as she looked at him her glare showimg fire as he went on to mention husband don't hide secrets from their wives, he hinted something else that she pushed off as she frowned tapping her foot as she huffed...though now she was thinking...ans she didn't those thoughts

The fire in her eyes cooled, she needed to play smooth, she knew nothing of this man at all. for all she knew he was spouting lies right to her face. So once her binding and such were removed she looked up at him offering a kind smile

indeed I am sir, I was to get food little after I arrived but it seems I've been delayed on that

His next little part seemed rehearsed, like out if a holo movie, you'll be treated right sent on your way don't access where not shown blahblahblah. Thankfully hiwever he was on her left side, she didn't have to use the force to see him her own eye could. However his touch was unwarranted but considering it was gentle she allowed it and simomy moved with him glancing around...notingthat sith was back again....he gave her a uneasy feeling.

However, when they entered the office she had to say she was impressed by how it was sat up including his desk which seemed to give a view of him and only him as if around him was nothing. She looked around more seeing the holodisk and even books, truely this man had a collection. She looked to the seat putting a hand on one, not setting before she was offered as she even knew it was rude

The lavish meal was freshly prepared and consisted of enough courses to impress even Hapan nobility. It had already been brought in by servants before Wolfe and Anya entered the room and it now awaited them. Wolfe motioned towards one of the couches, inviting the woman to sit, his other hand pressing a button on his datapad, causing the hovering table to lift itself slightly higher, to allow the two to comfortably and properly eat their dinner.

The view outside changed as two Admonitor-class light cruisers glided in on either side of the Star Destroyer. The Argent Dawn's escorts had moved into their assigned position, before the battlegroup jumped to hyperspace, beginning the long journey to return Anya to her home in Imperial territory.

"I am honestly surprised that your husband hasn't told you about our... meeting," said the warlord, breaking the silence. "I regret that you have to learn of this from me, especially so long after the event," Wolfe began to explain. "A few months ago, I approached your husband with the proposition of a mutually beneficial treaty between the Empire and the Shrouded Republic. Despite his actions at Eol Sha, I was willing to overlook that and extended him the courtesy of offering him the honor of mediating peace talks and an alliance with the Empire."

The warlord then looked straight up at the woman, his eyes intense. "Your husband promised me safe harbor and negotiation and when I arrived, he stabbed me in the back. Instead of going along with his duty and choosing the path that would undoubtedly benefit the Empire he claims to serve, he chose the path of betrayal and violence, ordering his men to detain me, likely so that he would use me as a hostage that would allow him to demand the Shrouded Republic bend the knee to him."

"Of course, one wonders what he would have done with the Shrouded Republic's fleet. Possibly stab the Empire in the back, like he did to the Dominion and try to overthrow Imperial leadership. Of course, things didn't go quite like he planned, as my guards were much better prepared than he had anticipated. In the end, we ended up fighting in the courtyard of that ridiculous palace of his, lightsaber to lightsaber," explained Wolfe as he served her some of the food, then filled a glass of wine for each of them.

She had to admit, for not trusting this man much she was very impressed, she could smell the meal when they had entered and it smelt fresh as it could as if cooked in the very room, next the couch she sat on was soft and comfortable she greatly enjoyed it after standing and being dragged. She watched the table hover up as she awed seeing it the perfect height to eat

She looked out and saw escort class ships moving beside, she could only assume it was the ships own before they shot off into hyperspace seeing the stars bend and streak across her view. When the silence was broke she looked over and frowned...she never knew of this....yet could she believe this man?

She listened, she was taking small bites as to keep her focus in what he said...few no the ago? She remembered she had been on business around that time away from the manor to discuss trade deals and work with other companies....so she had a gap between that time...she started thinking as she out her fork down to take a drink of the wine and then sighed...only one part irked her personally

manor, and one I designed myself thank you very much

She said before composing and sighed again.

Mr Wolfe, as I've read on your tag, I can't say this news I take directly but I can't say it doesn't unsettle me...as I have no clue veteran you and my husband who is telling the truth...and I won't know hid side till I ask him

Her word's held the full truth she was speaking...she trusted her husband she did...but hearing this unsettled her and she simply hoped it wasn't so

Wolfe listened patiently as the girl spoke, then sighed and gave her a sad look. Setting down the fork in his hand, he then started pulling on the leather glove that covered his left hand. Within moments, it became clear why the warlord had not removed his gloves, even as he ate. His left forearm was a prosthetic, a cybernetic replacement of the real thing. "Your husband's handiwork," he explained, eyes off into the distance, seemingly focused on the event which gave him his injury.

"Four of my men also died on that day, after being promised hospitality," said the warlord, his voice low and sad. He let the words hang in the air for a few moments, before his eyes lifted up to meet the girl's. "I may be a lot of things, Anya. But I would never promise hospitality to someone, only to have them stabbed in the back the moment they set foot inside my home. And I never break my word," Wolfe said, his ice-blue eyes burning with an intensity which only matched the passion in his tone.

"Do you know why these people follow me?" he asked, referring to his nation. "They don't do it out of fear, or out of perceived duty for some throne. Not so long ago, I was just a retired mercenary looking to start a business in shipbuilding. I was a nobody. Yet, I stood with them at Krayiss II. At Ession and Lorrd, I gave them order, a home and safety. Yet, I never coerced anyone into following me. They do so willingly, because I am a man of my word."

"Your husband, on the other hand, is a deluded princeling with delusions of grandeur and a sense of entitlement that the galaxy somehow owes him its obedience and servitude. That man has no ideals, stands for nothing and I honestly believe that he is not exactly sane. As such, everything he touches, crumbles to dust. He took control of the Dominion and it collapsed. The only reason the disaster wasn't worse, was probably because you somehow managed to talk him out of doing even greater acts of stupidity than he already did. He claimed he loved the Dominion and he found a way to destroy it. He now claims he is loyal to the Empire, yet he will inevitably harm it, unless Imperial leadership sees the danger and strips him of his rank. Now, he keeps secrets from you," Wolfe said, his tone hinting at a warning. "I would be very careful around that man, if I were you. He has a tendency to lie to people's faces and betray the things he claims to love."

[member="Kainan Wolfe"]

She listened as she looked to his hand, she shivered and frowned putting a hand on her own glad she didn't have any cybernetics sure she had biological upgrades along with the force but that was it...

What hurt and caused her to frown the most was how this man at her husband hiding stuff from her, she sat her utensils down as she frowned almost gettimg angry as her force signature flashed...to those who could see it it was like a kindle being slit to cause a fire then die down as she sighed

Mr Wolfe...i...sigh...if he has done what he's done I wish to apologise...personally here and now...but I will say as I have i can't believe you right now...i sense you tell the truth I sense your sadness and I just don't know how to process this information...

Her voice trailed off as she frowned clearly troubled by this information, she shook her head a s she took a long drink of this wine and looked to it

this is good wine where is it from

The warlord listened to her words, not meeting her eyes as she spoke. When she brought up the wine, it was clear that she did not want to discuss things further. It also gave Wolfe an opportunity to use one of his manipulation tricks which he had mastered over the years. "A Commenori vintage. Bought a crate of these while this Star Destroyer was under construction," Wolfe said.

Then he looked up at her and changed the topic back to his confrontation with Adron. "There's no need for you to apologize, Anya. You are not responsible for your husband's actions. And you are not required to do anything with this information, I simply felt it fair and honorable to tell you what happened," said the warlord, his voice calm and polite.

"I want you to know that despite what your husband did, I will treat you honorably. You will not be harmed and you will not be held here against your will," he explained, once again referring to his earlier statement that he was a man of his word. "As long as you are on this ship, I take upon me the responsibility of returning you safely to your home."

Wolfe's strategy was complex. He wanted to gain the woman's sympathy and use it in combination with the guilt and doubt he had stirred inside of her with his retelling of the events on Bothawui. This would combine with his polite gallantry to put up a demonstration that he was a better man than her husband. And then he would use all of this to plant the seeds in her mind, which would eventually lead to the destruction of her marriage with his rival.

Kainan Wolfe was a lot of things. He was an opportunist and a pragmatic man, one who was willing to use any means necessary in order to defend the things he believed in, no matter how questionable those methods may be. In a way, he was indeed a man who kept his word, for he never broke a promise. Kainan Wolfe was also a vindictive man, one who never forgot a betrayal done to him. And as any calculated man knew, revenge was a dish best served cold.

Commenori wine, she had to keep that in mind so she could order a case from them. Then the conversation went back to adron. She frowned agaim and looked away from him, all of this was causing anya to have fears doubts all mixed in...had her husband dine such horrible things? Had he been lying to her the entire time simply because? Maybe he had done so to protect her from the harsh truth?

Thank you Mr Wolfe, you truly are a honorable man to take your own rivals wife back to her lands. You have my deepest gratitude

She said bowing her head as she did so and then slid her glass forward done with her wine as she worked on what food she had leftover before she wiped he rmouth and sighed

I assume I'll have a quarters for the duration of my stay on board this ship?

Wolfe nodded. "My rivalry with your husband has nothing to do with you. You should not have to bear the consequences of his decisions," the warlord said, graciously accepting her thanks. "Of course. Quarters will be assigned to you in the guest wing," he explained. This ship was more than a military vessel. It was also the headquarters of the Shrouded government.

The quarters were really a small apartment, complete with its own bedroom and living area. Like Wolfe's office, they were tastefully and lavishly furnished and wolf motifs were present in the silver carvings on the walls. There was a large bed that could fit two people and a wardrobe with enough space to fit enough clothes for a long journey.

In the living room, an ornately carved wooden table served both as a dining area and a desk, with comfortable chairs arranged all around it. There was also a holoprojector and a bookcase, containing several holodisks for the guest's use, though most of them were propaganda material which the Shrouded Republic seemed to have produced and the rest were entertainment holos from Commenor and Corruscant.

A servant would lead Anya to her assigned quarters and in the morning, another servant would summon her to the warlord's presence. She would be led to a fairly large, empty room, where Wolfe sparred with one of his Sith subjects, his black lightsaber clashing against the Sith's red. Twenty Wolfguards lined the walls, standing at attention, while the warlord's Rodian bodyguard was nowhere to be seen.

Upon seeing her, Wolfe and his sparring partner would break off their practice routine and extinguish their blades. With a wave of his hand, Wolfe dismissed the Sith and then approached Anya. "Good morning, my dear," he said, his tone cordial and polite. "I trust the accommodations are satisfactory?" asked the warlord. Another formality, before he finally approached the topic he wanted to discuss. "Tell me, my lady, do you spar?" he asked, reaching for something that one of his Wolfguards held. Taking the object, he then handed it to the woman. It was her own lightsaber, somehow recovered from the pirates.

[member="Kainan Wolfe"]

She nodded, bowing as the servant came in she didn't wish to speak any more on the matter. She was to engrossed in thinking it over trying to find a explanation for all of it pleading to herself that it wasn't her husband's fault but more she out things together more it just...became even more scrambled

She got to the room and looked around habit to make sure she knew her surroundings, she walked in as she took a seat on the bed and then laid back. She closed her eyes to try and focus on the dilemma at hand, unfortunately sleep tool her as she was exhausted and before she knew she was awoken and got up as she yawned and stretched.

Led into a large room she glanced around seeing all these wolf guards them to the clashing of red and black as she gave a chuckle, she approached as she bowed

good morning Mr Wolfe, the accommodations have been perfect

She watched him as she saw her lightsaber and took it back as she inspected it over the bronze colored saber still the same as she pointed it away and flicked it on seeing the orange blade then off as she clipped it to her side

I do spar, nearly everyday to keep in good shape

The warlord responded with a smile. "In that case, my lady, would you grant me the honor of sparring with me?" he asked in a polite tone as he took a step back and reignited his lightsaber, the black blade crackling and sputtering as a result of the weapon's synthetic Kyber crystal's inherent instability. His thumb flicked the switch which activated the training setting, a feature which Wolfe's lightsaber did not originally contain, but which had been added in at a later date. Still, the weapon practically radiated with darkside energy, making it obvious that it must have been forged by a Sith.

"I trust that your lightsaber also has a training setting?" he said, as the girl's lightsaber bathed the room in a warm, orange glow. "If not, a replacement can be provided for you," the warlord said, his tone formal as he slowly backed away until he was in the center of the room.

Wolfe then took a defensive stance that was clearly the opening of Form Three, also known as Soresu. It was a technique he had learned from his instructor and which he had mastered as well as he could, given his lack of Force abilities and the short time he had to learn. It was also one of the forms which Anya's husband had used in the duel the two men had participated in, back on Bothawui.

It was clear that Wolfe was far from an expert at wielding lightsabers. The way he moved clearly revealed him as a beginner, to a trained eye. Yet, he also seemed to have an innate efficiency of movement, born out of his keen and calculated mind. He began to circle the girl, moving as an engineer would, with short, calculated steps and twirling the blade in his hand. He would wait for her to strike first.

[member="Kainan Wolfe"]

why I only see it fair since you've been so kind

She said politely as her saber flew to her hand, she looked at it to make sure it was on training before giving the blade a spin then nodded, that orange glow casting a glow like fire upon the room and her face...had it not been for the walls being a lighter color one could imagine what one would see in the battle field

Not a problem Mr Wolfe, I've made this saber with a training setting but your offer is kind

One thing she noticed was that dark enegry his blade radiated, yet she didn't feel it from him. She could only assume he either bought or obtained it somehow. She watched him move around her as she followed carefully and precise, she used vapaad....a very aggressive fighting style that suited her being a grey, as one tetered on both sides of the force. Her eyes scanned him as she noticed he wasn't as....precise with the saber almost beginner, however she wouldn't go easy on him no matter what

She stated him down before she was a blurr almost rushing at him as she swung for his legs feigning as she pulled up for his side

Wolfe may not have had much experience with a lightsaber, but he had enough experience with a vibrosword to be able to read an opponent. She would not be able to trick him so easily. His saber twirled in his hand, the black blade arching around him to deflect her attacks.

Sliding his right foot back, he pirouetted, switching from Soresu to Makashi and delivering a series of swift, powerful blows, first from left to right, then from right to left. Then, stepping forward to advance, he changed his form again, this time to something which clearly resembled Ataru, despite his lack of the Force abilities which were required for this form's more acrobatic moves.

His lightsaber twirled in his hand, first striking with a backhanded diagonal cut, from top to bottom, followed by a two-handed vertical slash. Wolfe was determined to try to keep the woman on the defensive, never giving her another opportunity to press the attack. However, his lack of Force powers and experience with a lightsaber, meant that things might not work exactly as he planned.

Impressive, most non force users would've been tripped up then and there being defeated....not him no he easily blocked her strikes making her chuckle

His next set was easy, jist quick precise movements to block them left right right left easy to block thought she noticed his form change...most force users had a set they used. She would notice agaim as she moved back to try and distance herself from his attacks

She was most impressed by this man, not only did he have skills in lightsaber combat but he was even putting a higher level force user like herself on the defensive. Howevver his mistake soon came as his two hand vertical strike came down she rolled to his side and swungher saber for his back, then wpuld start a vicious attack left right diagonal bottom top top bottom thrust, intending on wearing him down
