An envriosuit could only protect you from so much. Deadly toxins? Disease? Sure. Being smashed into a tree by a sentient vine? Not so much. The suits were designed to protect from exogenous substances that could hurt you, not withstand blunt force trauma.

And thus, Farah found herself smashed against a tree some distance away from the rest of the party. Luckily the tree was more bendy than hard, shifting back slightly at the force of a Zeltron being thrown into it. Looking out with a wince through her cracked visor, Farah’s eyes tracked to the bright crimson of Vaylin’s lightsaber. That was good, the Zabrak was likely faring well for herself so even if the doctor died, they would likely complete this mission. Not that she wanted to die. Farah very much wanted the opposite.

Her body slid slowly down the tree before falling the rest of the way. After covering the drop of several feet, she had the good sense to thrust her hands out in front of her to keep her head from colliding with the ground. She did however, hack up some blood which caused her back and lungs to ache even more. Her face was bloodied from the impact of the solid visor but she could still move her arms and wiggle her toes which was a good sign.

Standing up slowly, Farah took controlled breaths as she tried to walk. “Ugh.” She groaned, finding it too taxing to move upright and instead hunched over. The attack vines seemed to be focusing on the group for now which was good. At least for her. Especially as her pained gaze landed on a very thick vine, its flesh almost gelatinous in nature. Embedded in the center was one of those strange stones.

Eyes wide, she limped towards it.

Another grim smile, the smirk of a murderer.

"Excellent then, your magnificence, excellent." He was more than pleased with these turn of events, everything had fallen directly into place as he had anticipated. Natasi Fortan wasn't so different from him in her regards towards her native people, both of them were proud of where they came from and would do anything to ensure that their prosperity was assured and maintained. Emperor Carnifex could count on Fortan to uphold her end of the bargain, but he was woefully disconnected with the political atmosphere of the First Order since he had departed to see his own Empire grow.

He would have to check in with his agents embedded within the First Order after.

"I then think that it is safe to assume that our new relationship can now be ratified into law, and the Sith-Imperial banner can fly high and proud alongside that of Galidraan." His eyes twinkled with deviousness, "And if there are any who doubt, let them look up towards the stars."

Not far from Galidraan hung a massive object silhouetted against the backdrop of the planet's blazing sun, ten kilometers in length and bristling with firepower never before seen in the modern era.

A dreadnought of unparalleled strength.

The Emperor's new flagship: the Behemoth.

Mulokhai Zarandur

Location: Felucia
Objective: 2 (and 1?)
He could hear the blaster fire more clearly now, even the shouts of commands from NCOs to their squads, keeping everyone organized. He'd only just gotten used to not hearing military chatter in his ear from the commlink being broken, and now it was back. In a way, he had missed it, and it was a much more comforting sound than the one that began rapidly approaching from his left. Giant, and foreboding footsteps.

Mulokhai only had time to look as the Twi'lek was ripped from his grasp, a giant webbed hand closing over her as fingers wrapped around, lifting her in the air. He glanced up, staring into the maw of jaws, jagged teeth and snarling nostrils that could only be described with one word. Rancor. This one, though...it was typical in shape of the Jungle Rancors that populated Felucia most of the time, but its eyes were darkned, the jaws rapidly snapping as odd, vein-like patterns that gave off luminescent lights travelled up from its stomach to the underside of its neck.

The Sith only had moments to realize what it was as a giant hand came swiping at him. He activated the red saber as it hurtled in his direction, cutting deep into the giant hand as he was sent flying back and onto the jungle floor. Staring up towards the large Reptomammalian predator, he felt anger wash over him. It had just struck him, and now was aiming to eat his prize as she struggled and cried for her life.

Unacceptable. Charging forwards, Mulokhai threw his lightsaber as the blade simply aimed forward almost as though it was a thrown spear. The blade stabbed right through the Rancor's eye, the creature dropping its potential meal as it roared in pain, the crimson blade shooting back out as it travelled through the air and into the hand of the Sith. The rancor's large claws swiped again, this time only to be met with a lightsaber as three fingers came flying off, the roar only getting louder.

His feet hit the ground as the Pilot sprinted forward, leaping up and getting just under the chin of the Rancor. His lightsaber stabbed in just at the throat before he used all of his weight to yank down, slicing open the beast down the middle. Landing on his feet, the Acolyte looked up. Just in time to see the Rancor falling down towards him, ripped open and covering him.

The Rancor's corpse hit the ground, and the Twi'lek would have simply run if Sith Legion squads hadn't started turning up. At first, the Legion soldiers weren't sure what had even happened; but as they moved to secure the prisoner, they got their answer. A red blade and then the Flight Suit-wearing Sith after it came bursting out of the Rancor's back, gripping something tightly in a gloved hand.

The stone. His sealed suit protected him from it, at least...it would do the same for the Legion men here. Handing off the stone to one, he spoke quickly. "This is for the rest. Bring her with me." He motioned to the one holding the prisoner, asking them to follow him. He thought that the battle must be dying down by now, but he headed back towards the direction of the shuttles anyway. He was not equipped for a large-scale ground war.

At least he was alive, for now.

"Sir. We have a prisoner."

The brown-haired Jedi Master looked away from the firestorm in the distance, from fire and smoke over the mushroom jungles, and the ships darkening the skies like the hand of some wrathful god coming down upon their refuge. She looked away, but a shred of her awareness remained ever on the horizon.

"Ranger, who did you find?"

Two more rangers came, pulling with them an unconscious young woman in the dark garbs of a Sith, seemingly too young to be anything but an Acolyte: Miraluka by the look of her, eyeless, tattoos on her face and black hair on the head, sticking hanging over the traditional binding across her eyes. Master Colbine knelt by the young one and put a hand on her head, seeking to see inside her mind, and her heart.

Both their faces contorted.

"She is of the dark side, but it has not taken her entirely." She bit her lip thoughtfully "Perhaps.."

The miraluka stirred, her fingers curling into fists and her teeth gritting against the muddy earth. One did not need to see her eyes to know that she saw them and saw her predicament. Quickly she reached for Master Colbine's sabre, but the Nabooian was too quick at stepping back and out of reach.

"Curse you." The acolyte spat through cracked lips "Jedi scum! You and your dogs."

One of the troopers gave her a quick kick to the head, knocking the young one out. Colbine gave a disapproving look at the ranger, but did nothing to oppose or punish the action.

"We need to leave. Captain, call back all scouting parties. We are abandoning Felucia." "But Sir!"

"That is an order, Captain. Retreat and evacuate Immediately."

"And the sithling?" "She comes with us. We may turn her yet."

There was pity in her eyes as she stole a last glance down, then returned to the horizon. The Captain reluctantly gave his orders and troopers moved with haste.

Objective 4 - Get eaten by a sarlacc (okay maybe don't) - Challenge Accepted!
Nearby - No one.

The rabble of bipedal creatures came out of what seemed to be nowhere. We were being ambushed by creatures that could blend into their surroundings. Evident of the plumes and the vibrant colors that seemed to match well with the other plantlife around us. Drawing my own sword as one charged me, my left hand lashed out and gripped the creature with the force. Holding him by his arm and yanking him to my left. The body flinging itself into one of the various tree-like plants. The crunch was rather loud over the pausing of the blaster rifles.

I spun around and jumped in front of the private who had been talking to me as the creature was swinging it's bone sword. Catching it with my own, with a flick of the wrist then sent it away from the trooper. Followed quickly with a pommel to the face. Another crunch from the amount of strength I had gained over my time training as a Matukai. Speaking of, my off hand then came in with an uppercut that lifted the creature about two feet off the ground before falling back. I heard a yelling behind me at that moment.

Spinning once more, the two other troopers were using their blasters as a melee weapon trying to keep the swords away from them. One was failing to do so as he was on the ground. In more dire need, I rushed over with a speed that could only be accomplished through the force to send my knee into the creatures side. Sending him sprawling over for what seemed to be almost two meters away. I didn't even pick the man up before heading to the next one. Taking my blade and sliding it easily into the carpace of the creature. The sick twinge and the off-color blood leaked onto my blade as I then spun. Ripping the blade through the back half of the being while also tearing him away from the soldier.

The private I had gotten to earlier rushed forward with a knife to another enemy. Pushing the sword away with his off hand before plunging the blade into the creature with a solid hit. He then released hold of the knife and grabbed the bone blade from the native and swung it as hard as he could before the being could react to being stabbed. the solid hit crunched down on the being and sent the being to the ground hard. The soldier who had been on the ground was still there, just now reaching for his blaster pistol and fired round after round into another. Sending him down to the ground. Third trooper used the butt of his rifle to slam home into a creatures stomach before using the strength of his helmet to give the creature a headbutt.

I spun around just in time to block an incoming bone blade. Reaching with my off hand to the creatures neck, I crushed down while forcing his weapon back away from me before releasing hold of it's neck and sent a Spartan kick to it's chest. Sending it to the ground while I followed it. Impaling the blade through it's chest and into the ground.

The one or two who were left standing started to run away. I reached out with the force to grab one of them by the leg. Tripping them up onto the ground and then held him there. The second was gunned down by all three stormtroopers. The private apparently had fought another one after having stabbed the one earlier because in his left hand was his helmet with a smashed visor. Looking over to him, He was angry and filled with revenge for being ambushed. Shaking my head, We four slowly, and without a word, walked to the being on the ground.

It was squabbling and attempting to flee itself from my hold upon him. Private took the sword from the creatures hand and held it aloft at him as a threat. The creature stopped before attempting to look at us while still on their stomach. Slowly I fed through the emotions of this creature. Connecting my mind to its before uttering words within the creatures mind as well as outloud so the troopers could hear me.

"You are to lead us to the Jedi Master's enclave."

Objective 1: Find the Stones
With: [member="Farah"]

Vaylin growled as she tried to move against the vine's hold, its grip tightening around her wrist. In that moment she realized; and admitted, the suit had some additional benefit in that the vine couldn't completely constrict itself around her limb. Although it was damn sure trying, but it also didn't work in the Zabrak's favour either. She couldn't leverage her weight against it nearly enough to get the upper hand.

The one around her ankle attempted to shift her footing, force her to become unbalanced and fall. Vaylin knew she couldn't let that happen, else the vines would use the opportunity to bind her down. Fortunately years of training was making that a difficult feat to achieve, especially given the fact Vaylin's other leg was still free.

She deactivated her lightsaber, letting it fall from her hands with a slight spin. The second it was facing down, Vaylin snatched it back up and ignited the blade. It sliced through the vine around her wrist with ease, allowing her to dispatch the one around her ankle.

Vaylin quickly shifted into a stance, expecting more to attack her...but none of them did. The rest of the team was still being assailed, but it almost appeared as though their attention had been shifted away.

"Farah!"

The Zabrak looked towards where the Zelton had landed, who was moving towards a particularly thick vine not too far away. Vaylin's focus however was on the mass of smaller vines angling towards Farah, to stop her. She grabbed her second lightsaber and leaped, managing to land between Farah and the aggressive flora before it could reach her.

A horrifying screeching tore across the area as a pair of red blade's severed a whole heap of vines at once.

"Keep her steady, we're almost to the drop zone!"

Several of the Nova-class fighters had been shot down, the torn corpses plummeting down to crash and explode in the jungle below. The bomber's fighter escort managed to keep them from seriously damaging the bombers themselves, though there had been some gunners killed when the enemy managed to score a precise hit on the cannon. Lieutenant Calrow considered himself lucky, he'd only suffered minor injuries after laser fire raked the transparisteel viewport of the rear gunnery turret; though now the Deliverance was deprived of any lower rear protective firepower.

Not that he had time to keep taking pot shots at the Novas as they zoomed through the air, the targeting helmet was firmly strapped over his head as the Deliverance plunged through the hailstorm of flak fire over the enemy base.

They were so close, just a couple more meters...

Calrow's world went white. A Nova class fighter lost engine control on an attack run after being riddled by a TIE's cannons, and hurtled like a missile towards the Deliverance. It crashed into the bomber's lower deck, throwing the Lieutenant to the floor as the panel he was strapped into was obliterated and the payload prematurely released. Explosions rippled through the bomber's innards, crippling the engines and causing the whole ship to drop like a stone towards the rapidly growing explosions below it.

All Calrow saw last was the sight of fire and hatred through the broken visor of his helmet as the Deliverance was engulfed by its own payload.

And then he never knew anything ever again.

Objective III

Zahori stepped into the FOB tent and observed all that was going on within. Officers and troopers were roaming about, discussing current details on the mission while engineers were devising plans on creating defensive stations through the system. She then walked over to the holo-table that was currently displaying the immediate area. There, Adrana Mavor stood, speaking with what appeared to be stribal leaders of the Felucians.. "Admiral Denko. Pleasure to finally meet. I have been talking with each tribe's chief and I believe we have come to a consensus." Adrana stated.

A smile graced Zahori's face. "Do tell." she replied.

"Well," Adrana began. "The Felucians have agreed to submit to the Empire's rule so long as we do not wholly interfere with their political dealings. Of course, as governor, I shall do my best to keep the peace among the people as I deem necessary, and they know that, they simply wish to maintain their way of life. That seems fair, no?"

"Yes, I do believe it does. And how do they feel about the military installations?" Zahori asked.

"So long as they aren't too close to their villages, they agree to your terms. The protection of the Empire is well known to be reliable among their people. They just don't want their kids wandering into the sights of a sniper and mistaken for an enemy." Adrana addressed.

Zahori extended her hand to one of the Felucians, who responded with firmly grasping and shaking it. "Welcome to the Empire."

The Zeltron was honed in one the strange glowing stone centered in the center of the vine, so much that she didn’t sense the bundle of active flora heading towards her. She didn’t have anything to defend herself with other than a blaster and a knife anyhow—unless she could outrun them, the Zeltron would have little chance.

Luckily someone had been paying attention, Vaylin coming to her rescue and tearing through the attacking vines with ease. Farah would have to thank her late, but right now her focus was on the prize. If it could be called that.

She collapsed partially on the thick vine, running her hand along its surface to test the give of the skin. Rummaging around at one of the holsters on her waist, a durasteel knife was produced and sliced lengthwise into the vine in an obviously surgical approach. The vine shook and shuddered as if in anger, lethargic in movement as it went to wrap around the invader. The doctor wasted no time, hand plunging into the jellified plant matter and wrapping around the stone. It took some practice to yank it out given the viscosity of the gelatinous insides, but the stone was eventually torn free from the vine.

The plant went limp, almost lifeless without the stone possessing it. Farah glanced to the plant while placing the stone in a small containment bag designed to hold hazardous objects.

“Oh good,” She rose the best she could and gave a nod towards Vaylin. “You’ve survived.” She held the bag up and waggled it a little. “Let’s get back to base camp. I believe that’s quite enough of that for one day.”

Objective 1

Vanessa returned with the rock to her shuttle. The rock itself seemed to have been pacified, if that were the term - it was certainly not trying to do anything to the repulsorlift platform on which it had sat the entire journey. This rock would be returned to the Trayus Laboratory for further examination, given it was the best equipped of Vanessa’s laboratory sites and the Thyferra laboratory was still somewhat unfinished. With that, she would depart, bringing an end to this misadventure and leaving the corpse of the mutated gelagrub to be devoured by the carrion-eaters of the wind planet.

Also, she totally needed a shower.

The big Pandyn lay back and patted his ample stomach. Slow plodding thoughts about what everyone else was doing tumbled through his otherwise empty mind as he looked up at the Felucian sky. The sounds of fauna echoed through the distance as he slowly rolled to his stomach and pushed up to his feet.

He had caught a total of three of the walking mushrooms and they had all tasted a little different. He had thought after that he should have been more careful about eating mushrooms. They could have been poisonous or hallucinogenic. In this case they weren't but they could have been. He began thinking about going to look for his imperial masters and find out what he should actually be doing but that thought made him extremely tired.

With a yawn he walked over to a tree, pushed it over and climbed in the hole left by the pulled up roots. He lay down, covered his face with his big hat and began to snore. Why? Best sith ever. That's why.

Everyone Forgets the Tail Flick
Ao paid no attention to the chatter coming over the comms. She was entirely focused on cataloging and properly storing away the stones being brought back to base camp. As [member="Vaylin"], [member="Farah"], and [member="Vanessa Vantai"] brought back their finds they were carefully, almost lovingly, taken and cared for.

Over the comms, news rolled in. The brief and bloody skirmish, now being cleaned up. The talks in the neighboring system, the Dark Lord bringing them into the fold bloodlessly. The progress being made in the rebuilding of the outposts.

Felucia was a wild planet- untameable and feral. It was a planet that could never truly belong to any person, to any group. It was riotous with life and held tightly to its secrets.

But for now, the influence of the Empire fell over it, drawing it slowly and inexorably into its grasp.

Felucia, as much as it could belong to anyone..... now belonged to the Sith.

Just as quickly as the trap was sprung the conflict was already over. Once the full portion of the Blackblade Guards forces had landed they already shattered the kill pocket and began to hunt the League of Voss's forces like dogs in the jungle. True to the rumors of the legion when the Blackblades passed nothing lived. Not any indigenous mounts used, not any wounded or surrendering soldiers hoping to cash in on the Dark Lord's mercy. As the sounds of battle died down the sounds of screams for mercy the soldiers yelling the same horrifying death screams that hung in the dreams of any normal, human soldier.

There was a certain cold, callous way to these inhuman butchers as they passed through. When one watched them long enough truth be told it was truly horrifying, absolutely sickening how little life meant to these butchers. The very sound of a simple death rattle brought guns swiveling and blasts filling the air. After the battle had ended was when the true visage of the guard was revealed. The soldiers who stacked mandalorians like chord wood on Concord Dawn, the butchers who exterminated the togorians not once but twice only to force the remaining populations into death camps to work them until nothing remained. There was a reason why the very sight of a Blackblade Guardsman sent shivers down the spines of the rank and file soldiers. They weren't just soldiers they were butchers, monsters, exterminators and overseers. For the Sith Empire and its people they could act as saviors.

But they could turn into their butchers in a flash simple if [member="Darth Carnifex"] bid them to.

Their loyalty was to the Zambrano titans nothing else mattered, no one else mattered. Every single person they associated with was because the Dark Lords wanted them to do so, but they wouldn't lose any sleep or react with any delay if they needed to slaughter every single soldier they saved today. Such was their loyalty.

Objective 4 - Get eaten by a sarlacc (okay maybe don't) - Challenge Accepted!
Nearby - No one.

The creature was fighting every step of the way. I allowed the troopers to take care of him while I gathered my energies from the ambush. I spent alot to keep these three alive for the time being. If there was still a Jedi Master held here in stasis of some kind, I wanted to prepare myself to fight them should it come down to that. In all honesty. I wanted to capture them and learn of how they had evaded capture, as well as possibly on to how they lived for so long here on their own. And maybe, just maybe turn them. Not really over to the Sith, but add them as an ally. Already having both Caleo, and Kinta, this Jedi master would be a good addition.

However, as soon as I saw the little hut that would have been where they lived, I knew that there was no chance.

The hut was caved in, and the roof that had once stood so defiant against the trees was fallen. Portions of walls had old burn marks and even saber cuts. There had been a fight here, but the fight was so long ago, the various fungi and grasses now covered everything. Taking a few steps up into the what was the main room, the troopers held onto the creature back down at the base of the stairs. I looked around quickly. Delving into the force a bit to see if there were any energies that I could feel. Slowly I could feel a very faint one. Very old though. Might as well follow it.

Turning around, I nodded my head once. The private was about to slice open the creatures throat. I raised my hand to stop him.

"Release him. Follow him to their hive. The Sith may use them to create new Sithspawn, or use them as slaves."

If I couldn't find the Jedi, then I may as well have something to come back with. Private nodded his head with a small smirk. Knowing this would look good on his record. However, it then changed to curiosity. Looking over to me, he released him while the other two seemed to wait a moment before following the creature into the forest. Careful that they shouldn't be ambushed again.

"And where will you be going?"
"The trail is old and long dead from what you see here. However, I need to follow it to see it's conclusion.... Alone."

Nodding his head a bit, he gave me the standard salute and then started to follow after his comrades. I however turned around and looked through the rubble. Seeing old rusted parts of something left behind on the table. Bowls and plates for eating. However, there were enough for two or three people. Maybe for guests, but having most of them into what would have been a sink didn't make any sense. There was something more to this. Taking a firm grip of the pommel of my sword as it rested within the sheath, I walked on past the razed shack, and followed the path of the force.

Walking through the forest alone seemed a little daunting. Being completely alone when I was usually accompanied by Lucem or Kinta. However, with the latter being back on Kro Var with my sister, and Lucem was gather information from the holocrons I had. Still, I had to do this. Even if I was alone, I didn't want to troopers to know anything about my various ties with other factions. While I was with the Sith, I never worked directly for them. I worked with them more so. If they would be so easily replaced, then I would. However, at the moment, they cannot be.

Walking up through the jungle, I came upon a clearing. Opening up, this fell down an almost sheer cliff down into the center of a giant hole. One that seemed to bring on a sense of Deja Vu. However, I continued on. Sliding down the steep slop. Reaching the bottom, I didn't see any signs of fighting like I had at the hut. If there were any left over, then they would have been covered or removed long before I came here. Looking down into the pit I saw a mass of flesh. Pale and immobile, I didn't think anything of it. I moved around the area. Searching for the source of the force. Looking through the grass around me, I saw something glinting in the sunlight.

Getting down onto my hands and knees, I pushed aside the grass to see a bronze colored ring around a metal cylinder. Smiling ever so brightly, I started to dig into the ground. Unearthing what was a lightsaber. Upon touching it, I felt a surge of lighting hit me and a flash of images coming across my vision. A Togruta. Dressed in Shamanistic clothing. Powerful within the force. Her name ringing out to me in my mind. Shaak Ti. The name sounded familiar, but not enough that I could recall why.

The vision of her facing someone wielding a lightsaber charged with lighting. Fighting with such rage and ferocity. Only for it all to end with a lightning surge. Looking down at the lightsaber. It was very dirty and had a little bit of rust. Very little just on the surface. I could tell simply by scratching the surface to feel no give or potential breaks. Thumbing the lightsaber on, the brilliant blue lightsaber blade ignited. I could feel my heart leap out of my chest. I knew exactly what I should do with this. Turning it off, I clipped it onto my belt and started to walk away. That was until I heard a rummaging behind me. Turning around just in time to see a massive tentacle lashing out at me.

It then began to drag me deeper into the crater in the center of this opening.

-----------------------------------

I woke up with scratches over my face, and hands. My head hurt. The pounding was causing so much pain to me. It was something I never really want to go through again. Looking over me, I could barely see in the darkness. Feeling myself up to make sure I didn't break anything. Feeling the back of my head, I did feel flakes of dried blood falling off. I likely hit my head when I was first dragged by whatever it was.

Thinking back, I had tried to fight the tentacle that pulled me towards the center, but then I smacked my head on something, and then blacked out. Looking around, I could hear a soft grumbling sound. the ground was sticky and was causing my hands to itch. Lifting my hand up into the darkness, I ignited a small flame. Just that much blinded me for a moment. Taking a second to adjust to the light, I found that I was inside some kind of large sack. Sitting in a puddle of some unknown liquid. Upon further inspection, I found rotten plants, and decomposing bodies that had flesh slowly pealing away from the bone.

I was inside a massive stomach.

This was not good. Feeling myself, I still had my sword, and the lightsaber. Shaking my head, I needed to get to work. Walking towards a large gathering of skin that was about my chest level, I slowly grabbed a hold of the skin and flesh with the force. Pealing it open enough for me to slide through. However, the opening was closing and I didn't want to fight it. Releasing my hold, I didnt know if I could focus on keeping it open long enough to let me through without crushing me. I tried to think of any way that I could get out of here.

And that is when it hit me.

When the body rejects food, it either passes it through its system, painfully, or it can regurgitate it. Smiling, I used the flame that I had created to grow larger and larger. I then threw the ball of flame upon the corpses and into the liquid. Using the force to keep the flame hot and burning even through the liquid. Causing a massive boiling post. The groaning of the creature became louder and more frequent. I smiled brightly as I burned into the creature. Eventually hearing a small roaring sound, and I could hear the intestines and whatever else down the rest of the path begin to curl up. Hearing massive wind from a vacuum, I held my breath with an adiabatic shield.

Jumping up into the bile and stomach fluids that were being drawn from the stomach. I too, was released from the prison of the creature. Being flung a couple dozen meters into the air. Using the force, I guided my descent to the ground. Covered in dirt, bile and whatever else. I shook my head. Checking the lightsaber to make sure I still had it before walking away. Slowly making my way to the hutt, I found that Private was there.

He heard me. Turning around, I shook my head with the bile soaked hair flinging out of my face.

"Don't ask. Just get whatever you have to the ship and lets head home."
