It was odd, despite the many, many years that they had to fix this planet, the galactic community had just given up on the world. Which...well, that was a thing. Regardless, she had her own reasons for coming here. In-spite of the damning virus that no one seemed to know how to deal with, the knight worked her way through the relay station, carefully feeling out for any hostile forces nearby. Mi'la's force connection had come back stronger than before now, as in-spite of herself, she felt her understanding and certainty within the Force to be at a new level. She actually felt like a jedi knight. It was for that reason, she had waved off the idea of taking her padawans with her, Remy Singh Remy Singh and Rivenna Vehementi would be in too much danger here. Last thing she needed was one of them contracting the damn disease. She has some skill as a healer, but she wasn't that good after all.

Her hand sensor picked up a small energy flair, readings showed it to be several power generators linked together; which matched the intel she had on this doctor. Doctor Tribum was a bit of a nutcase, but as odd as he was, the Trandoshan was apparently offering a regenerative agent for limb-loss to those who would afford it. Now, how he had access to this, and if it worked was another question all together; and paired with rumors of the lizard's connection to Sith cultists, Mi'la had to wonder if this was just some harebrained nonsense someone had drudged up. But she had to make absolutely certain this was legitimate. Amani had managed to get her arm back, so the Twi'lek figured it was time to try for herself as well.

As she maneuvered through the station, dodging several makeshift defenses, she came to halt at a desolate elevator shaft that seemingly had no cable car attached to it. Befuddled, Mi'la began her climb down the shaft, using the large rusted struts to make a bit of a climb, as she leapt from platform to platform, working her way down. As she went, a deafening 'boom' of thunder exploded from above her, followed by a torrent of rain.

Well, hopefully she closed all the windows on her ship, or it was going to be a long flight back to Kashyyyk.

Tython, it had been years since he last stepped on this pile of rubble you'd call a planet. The Dark Jedi wasn't here of his own desire, but here on Insatious' behalf. A scientist, Doctor Tribum, who Darth Insatious Darth Insatious was conspiring had allegedly made a breaktrhough on limb regeneration, Cadere was here to collect a datacard with the information stored on it.

The Kiffar didn't know what Insatious needed it for, nor did he care, but he was certain it was going to be used for atrocious experimentation. Briefly glancing at his cybernetic arm, he pondered if he could restore his left arm with what Tribum had promised. If he couldn't deliver, the Trandoshan would meet a swift end by Cadere's lightsaber.

Navigating through the dystopic station, he was nearing the coordinates given to him. Cadere had decided to go it alone this time, beliving this to be an uneventful outing. The sudden reverb of thunder struck his ears, even through his helmet. The rain that followed forced him to stop, for a few moments he allowed himself to feel the droplets hit his clothes and garments - he felt none of it, truly reminding him how disconnected he was from the galaxy at large. Cadere's head lifted, he looked toward the clouds above him and the falling rain - reminding him of the final encounter between Cas Tynen and Darth Insatious. The beginning of the end of the Jedi Knight.

A feeling passed over him, a small sensation of regret. It constantly gnawed at him in his quiet moments, always asking him 'if this was all worth it', if he really had to kill Insatious by any means necessary, if it meant hurting his friends both emotionally and physically. It was the echo of the Jedi Knight he once was, no matter the amount of horrific acts he committed to deepen his connection to the Dark side and snuff out what little light remained in him, this feeling persisted - Cas Tynen persisted. One day he would destroy what was left of him, only then could he truly defeat the Sith Lord that tormented him.

Cadere's deep introspection suddenly ceased when he felt a presence, a... disturbance. It was unlike anything he'd ever felt. No, he had felt a presence like this before. Insatious. A wound. He would only sense this harmful feeling in the presence of the Dark Lord. There was a wound in the Force, and it was close by.

What he felt was indescribable, with Insatious, it was as if the Living Force was in constant agony whenever the Sith Lord was in the room. But this one? It was like... a large gaping hole that devoured anything surrounding it - a parasite.

Scanning his immediate area for any sign of this individual, his lightsaber ignited with a harsh snap hiss as he prepared to strike down whatever it may be.

The climb was a pleasant one, well, mostly. Aside from the rust, and a few platforms nearly caving under her feet, Mi'la had managed to make it to the bottom, the soft patter of rain splattering against the hollowed and twisted intestines of the station. According to her right arm, this was the origin point for the several power generators, and gauging from the recently placed cabling that was snaked around the ruined panel floor, she had to assume that it was nearby. Making a casual stroll, she closed her eyes, and let her senses guide her, reaching out to feel for anything living and Trandoshan like on this floor. Aside from the various rodents, flora, and several nasty critters, she found two life forms that were roughly humanoid, but one was clearly not like the other.

A cold came over her, one that brought her to a halt, as an all too familiar darkness crept over her senses. A sith? Here? She reached for her saber initially, and stopped, taking a breath to steady herself, she shook off the phantom of Vjuns. Whatever was here was real, and she would deal with it as such. Just like on Mannan, so too here. She put on her best winning smile, and moved forward. Knowing the danger was half the way to bypassing it, and bypass it she would. Ideally without losing her other limb.

Rounding a corner, the sound of water sounded against a shattered view-port, forming a puddle that had formed twelve feet from her, but it was the reflection of the puddle that caught her attention; the red glow that was visible in it.

'Daring today, aren't we?' She asked the Living Force, as if this was some badly timed joke, but ahead she moved with all the confidence of a drunk man on a sabacc bust. Hoping for the best, but knowing it was going to get so much worse.

"Hello there!" She called out, hands going to just above where her sabers rested, as she came around the start of the hall, perhaps a familiar face to her opponent, but to Mi'la the presence before her seemed like that of a ghost; as if someone she knew that had just died. Biting her lip, and trying to ease the unrest that was forming in her gut, she attempted to ease the tension, though felt that her sabers would need to be drawn and ready rather soon if this backfired. "Was this your abandoned relay station? Don't mean to trespass, just was taking a short cut though." She wasn't about to tell him why she was here, because there was a very real possibility that they were here for same reason.

And if that was the case, Mi'la wasn't looking forward to another duel, but if that's what it took to get some damn medicine, then so be it.

The presence finally made itself known in the form of a familiar Twi'lek. Mi'la Undari, Sakadi's second Padawan, the failure. It seemed to be an ongoing pattern for the Sephi Master. A hint of curiosity loomed over the Dark Jedi as he analysed Sinvala's former Padawan. Cadere's last memory of her belonged to Tynen, when he and Sakadi rescued her on the planet Vjun - she was a shell of what she once was, utterly pathetic. Now though, she had significantly grown in strength, she radiated power and she didn't even know it. Cadere slightly tilted his head, pondering on whether her experience on Vjun was the reason for her sudden shift in the Force.

Silently, he watched her as she attempted to commune with him - his lightsaber remained idle at his side, humming away as she spoke. The Kiffar scanned the Twi'lek's frame, analysing her equipment, she carried two lightsabers and looked to be more machine than he did now. Finally, he came to the conclusion as to why she was here, it was fairly obvious. She was here for Tribum's formula, why else would she be in this station.

It was settled then. Cadere's relaxed stance quickly shifted into that of a combat one, with both hands wrapped around the hilt and his lightsaber raised. Either she would die here or she would leave, it didn't matter. The hooded Dark Jedi stretched his right arm in the direction of the Twi'lek - she would quickly feel as if her rib cage and lungs were under immense pressure, being squeezed by an invisible force. Cadere had begun to crush her torso area.

With his right arm engaged in crushing the Jedi from within, his weapon arm reached out toward his left side and with it, he summoned a piece of metal debris from the water. Water leaked from the metal chunk as it rose from the water seconds before it was launched in the direction of the Twi'lek Jedi.

She watched him for a moment, face slowly moving from a false sense of amusement, to concern. Gone was the wry grin she wore, and a calm placid expression took hold. Hands found the hilts on her saber, as the longer the stranger stood here, the more imminent the fight seemed to be. He felt familiar to her however, how and why she didn't know, but when she felt a squeeze around her chest region, she realized what was occurring, and did what seemed to work before. Conjuring a bubble around her, she expanded it out, breathing a sigh as the pressure relented.

Cadere would feel as if his attempt to crush her had slipped away from his reach, the force seemingly erased as the Twi'lek put her influence upon it, though that did nothing to help her situation as a large metal chunk came flying her way. Having little time to enjoy not being crushed as the stranger threw a piece of scrap her way, Mi'la dropped to the floor. Letting the metal fly over her head, both blades were ignited now, already kicking her legs up and over her body, she somersaulted back up to her feet, blades raised and ready to go. "Rude." She spoke calmly, the nervous jitters from before no longer within her.

The ground shuddering as the collision buckled the back wall, vibrating the aged panels they stood on. Having only a moment to collect herself, she made a counter offensive, taking two steps forward, she flung her right saber towards her attacker, letting the blade go spinning at him, then using the Force with her now free hand, she launched a force push towards his ankles, aiming to displace his foot position as he went to parry her saber through. Advancing, Mi'la would halt a meter from him, sliding as she extended for a lunge aimed at the shoulder of the man, and quickly would spin away, hoping to pull her thrown saber from earlier in the process.

She had a feeling this wasn't going to be an easy fight.

Cadere's hand retreated to his side when he felt his ethereal grip on Mi'la's internal organs gradually slip. She had erected a barrier to protect herself from his telekinetic attacks it seemed. His secondary attack also failed as he watched the metal object fly over her head. This was all to be expected, no student of Sakadi Marathi Sinvala Sakadi Marathi Sinvala would fall this quickly, nor be so easy to defeat.

Ignoring her attempt at a quip, Mi'la immediately retaliated with an attack of her own. His crimson visor glared as one of her amethyst lightsabers came heading his way, with a twirl of his own lightsaber, Cadere's right arm moved forward as he prepared to catch the Twi'lek's blade. That was until he felt a quick invisible push hit his ankles, as if he'd walked over a rope. Feeling himself stumble, Cadere decided not to fight against it and instead dropped to one knee for the lightsaber to fly over his head.

The Dark Jedi's head jerked skyward, catching sight of Sinvala's second Padawan lunging toward him. With barely any time to react, Cadere bent his forearm throwing it upward and angling it at the side of his head to protect his shoulder. His lightsaber resistant Mantellian vambrace would protect him from Mi'la's attack, while also providing him the opportunity to counter with his lightsaber.

Feeling the weight of Mi'la's attack against his vambrace, Cadere immediately countered. With the Twi'lek retreating as quickly as she attacked, Cadere placed his right arm on the metal panel below them and leaned forward, slashing at the Jedi with his crimson lightsaber in one wild horizontal angle. Cadere would then proceed to follow up his initial attack with a telekinetic push in the direction of Mi'la.

Her maneuver had failed, yes, but she wasn't beaten. As her saber sailed over Cadere's head, Mi'la had followed up her strike, then daftly withdrew as he parried the blade off his vambrace. What was the point of a lightsaber when everyone and their mother had lightsaber proof armor? She didn't know, nor could she talk, her robes reportedly could take strikes as well.

The man's counter attack followed, Mi'la spun backwards, but not enough to avoid the wild swing that came towards her. With her blade, she slammed it into the armored man's, trying to knock it into the tile, though the shove he threw towards her caught her. Still in a half crouching position from her earlier movement, Mi'la was sent back and across the floor, though she kept her free hand out to call her second saber back towards her. The hum of her blade would be heard, as Cadere would sense it's rapid approach. The Twi'lek had tumbled twice from the shove, roughing up her robes and appearance, aiming to grab her second saber, and with it, attempt to push on Cadere, right saber swiping upwards, the left saber thrusting for the man's chest.

He seemed to have the edge offensively, so perhaps she needed to put him on the defensive now.
