HISTORY:
Born on Ryloth as an heir to a wealthy family for their slaving practices, Mi’la was rather oblivious to her parents line of work, as they sought to keep their daughter as far removed from their dealings as possible. The young girl grew to love knowledge, and acquiring information, and so her parents kept her off world for much of her life; both to state her desires. Mi’la took to archaeology as a hobby, spending many of her earlier years on summer trips to exotic worlds, studying the construction of long dead civilizations, and uncovering their history, as such she grew to become quite the historian at a young age.
Her family life was distant at best, and Mi’la began to feel less and less of a connection to Ryloth, or anywhere in general, finding a desire to jump from world to world, which lead her to taking flight lessons, as she grew inpatient of being dependent on others to help her seek her goals. At the age of nineteen, Mi’la was on her way to earning a doctorate from the Commenor, when her life was turned upside down. Returning home to meet with her parents, she was caught in the middle of a hit put on them by a Hutt Crimeboss that had grown sour of the Undari slave production. It was only here that the young Twi’lek became aware of her parent’s business operations, but it mattered little. Her parents were murdered before her eyes, and young Mi’la was spared only to serve as the Hutt’s personal slave.
It was here that her story might have come to a close, trapped as a Hutt slave, her life-long hopes derailed, and shame over her parents dirty dealings. Thankfully for young Mi’la, her plight would not last long. Mi’la force powers awakened during her enslavement, and when a Jedi Ambassador came to meet with the Hutt, she used her newly found abilities to rat her master out. After being released, she accepted an offer to be trained by the jedi, and turned her back on her dreams of being an archeologist, seeking instead to save others from a fate her family had condemned many to.
Mi'la did rather well as a padawan, serving under the guidance of Jedi Master Sakadi, she underwent many trials, and even battled against a Sith Lord. It was this climatic battle that sealed her fate however, as the padawan's body was badly tortured and beaten, losing both an arm and a Lekku in the encounter, she found herself stripped of the force, unable to feel it, though for reasons unknown to her. Under Sakadi's guidance, she managed to find her re-connection back to the Force, but it was different, changed now. Though she can still use the force, her nature as a jedi has changed. Now a knight, Mi'la attempts to understand this new power that she feels, and how it might connect with her injuries from before.
After having spent years in a region of space known as the Living Sea, Mi’la’s mind has been opened to new potential, and she now travels the stars trying to find the missing gaps in the knowledge that she knows, and the mysteries she seeks to uncover.

APPEARANCE:
Mi’la has lavender skin, a rarity among her people, paired with bright green eyes. She often dresses as a spacer, leaning towards wearing baggy clothing and the like. She is rarely seen without her leather headband or similar headwears, hoping to cover up the slave tattoos that were put upon her years ago. Mi’la doesn’t like to dress flashy, preferring to blend in with those around her. She uses a single blue lightsaber, though she carries a second on her person in case she faces multiple opponents; switching to Jar’Kai style out of her Makashi pose.
Her left arm was lost in a conflict with Darth Void, as was her Right Lekku. As such, she has prosthetics for both, though deploys synthetic skin to cover them up. She is currently trying to find a way to regain her lost appendages.

Pros:
Force Sensitive: Mi’la can call upon the force in times of need, and is capable of show casing several abilities.
This Belongs In a Museum: Mi’la has an insatiable love for knowledge and acquiring it.
Easy Going: Mi’la is rather charismatic, and easy going, making it easy for her to talk with people.
I Know a Few Maneuvers: Mi’la is an accomplished pilot, and will not shy away from being allowed to flex her skills.
Force Bond: Mi'la has an unexplained ability to link with others rather easily in the force, a side effect after having severed her force connection.
Void in the Force: After experimenting with her condition, Mi’la can negate and nullify force attacks via her condition as a Force Wound.
Cons:
Zero Tolerance: Mi’la calm demeanor and temperament shatters when she encounters slavers, and she will have none of what they are selling.
Certified Nerd: One downside of Mi’la’s love for knowledge, is that it can utterly distract her from her surroundings.
Wound in the Force: Mi'la exists as a wound in the force, no doubt unsettling those who draw to close to her. To many she will detect as being ‘empty’ within the Force, yet it seems to swirl about her like a wormhole; makes it hard for more suspicious types to take a liking to her.
