Intent: An arm that acts as an all in one tool for working on droids/ships/vehicles rather then needing to swap tools.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Kyle Arcaina
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Yes. Tools can be removed or altered as the arm is mostly empty allowing for a varity of variations on them as so long the device is small enough to fit within the forearm it can be applied to the arm
Production: Minor
Material: Durasteel
Description: This arm makes no real attempt at covering up the fact that it is cybernetic. The connection is surgically installed splicing the devices connections directly into the nerves at the shoulder. This allows for the bodies orginal connections to control the arm rather then needing a brain implant. The arm has its own power supply with a power pack stored in the shoulder. In place of muscles the arm has powerful servo motors at the key joints. This gives the arm tremendous grip power as well as impact force but does not improve the subjects overall strength. Because the arm is connected to a biological shoulder in most cases acts of intense strength will still hurt. For example punching into a solid wall will leave a considerable dent but the impact of the strike will be cause a shockwave along the arm to the shoulder which will hurt. Not to mention the fact the arm will press into the shoulder digging in painfully. In the same manner the arm does not allow the user to lift objects of extreme weight as the weight of the arm will pull on one's back.

To activate the devices the user has to actually activate the devices with the control set at the shoulder. Since the arm does not have a neural interface to select them with their mind. Such an option does exist for those who want it but requires additional surgery

The arm itself is designed to be able to fit and replace various parts depending on the users personal preference. The most basic is the omni tool arm which contains a variety of tools such as a power drill., saw, soldering iron etc.
The combat variation could be adapted to have a blaster installed in the and the forearm acting as a container for throwable devices.

Any significant changes made (such as installing a lightsaber for example) will need a new submission. Beyond this little warning, everything appears to match canon fairly well, and the use of interchangeable tools for a mechanic is perfectly acceptable.

Pending secondary.
