A student of Jedi Master Sakadi, Mi’la designed her second set of blades with adaptability in mind. Interlocking hilts allow her to deploy a saberstaff if needed, but allow her to simply use one, or dual blades if needed for combat encounters. The hilts are designed with flex metal, preventing them from being destroyed by well placed blaster shots, with the inner workings being lined with durasteel to ensure physical damage does not destroy the integrity of the weapon. The slight curve to the hilt assists when Mi'la preforms Makashi, but it also worked to help her utilize Ataru, and indeed Soresu, depending on where she grips the weapon; copying techniques from her master in the process. An alternative lens is utilized after seeing the horror of the Bryn conflict, so in case of encountering surviving Bryn, she has modified it accordingly. Her horrific battle with Darth Void made her realize that she needed to waterproof her saber as well, hence adding in a waterproof casing and allowing her weapon to now function even after exposure to water. Pressing a switch near the pommel of the blade will ensure the Hailstone Focusing Lens is deployed, though doing so requires the blade to be deactivated to finish the process. The blades themselves take on a soft lavender color, after Mi’la attempted to repair her original damaged blades from their broken red state, resulting in a unique color in the aftermath of her slow recovery. The small trinket at the bottom is what is left of her Padawan braid under Master Sakadi, a reminder of where she come from, and how far she has progressed. In a sense, these weapons are her history with the Jedi Order.
