Bad words filter doesn't work in the status box?

My character swears a lot. It's fine when posting, but when I tried making an IC status with her, it didn't. I deleted the status immediately, but I'm adding a screenshot to show what I mean.

I marked it as a question because I don't know if this is the way it's meant to be, or if it's a bug.

Go to your profile and check the profile feed tab that is there.

I will talk with Tef, but I suspect that statuses are not covered.

However, the point stands. Relying on a swear filter to change your words for you isn’t the wisest course. Better to just use words which won’t be caught up and thus negate the problem. On an academic level though it's good to know, so we will check.
