STRENGTHS
- Powerful Weaponry: As the enforcer of Amali Mustra’s fleet, the Atrisian Rancor has been outfitted with incredibly dangerous weaponry, none instilling more doom for the enemy than the Proton Beam Cannon. This, along with the slew of railguns present on the ship, can unleash hell upon enemy targets. Additional missile launchers also give the ship a well-rounded range and versatility along with the ever-reliable laser cannons and turbolasers.
- Sturdy Defenses: Constructed predominantly the same way as the Artrisian Furor, the Rancor has the benefit of being made out of Impervium. This metal is notorious for being nigh-impenetrable which, along with the many shields surrounding the ship, gives it the defenses necessary to serve as the Enforcer of the fleet.
- Rear-Blind Spot: As with almost every starship in the Galaxy, the Atrisian Rancor suffers from a dangerously exploitive rear-blind spot that can lead to a successful counter-assault by enemy fleets.
- Enforcer Ship: While capable of heavy combat, the primary purpose of this ship is to serve as the enforcer of the fleet, meaning that it is the primary target for most engagements. This increases its risk of being damaged and potentially destroyed and thus is susceptible to numerous intense attacks.
- Hangar Space: With the number of weapons and systems, the Atrisian Rancor does not have any space for starfighters, limiting its capabilities to launch much in the way of mobile defenders.
When Amali Mustra came to the Sith Warlords, Kascalion Giedfield recognized her need for a sizable fleet in order to accomplish her individual goals, setting out in a rare act of kindness for his fellow Sith to craft such vessels. His reasoning for this was that if the Warlords were to achieve anything they wished to achieve in the early days of their existence, the might of its people must never waver until such time that the inevitable clash between warriors begins. Thus came the Atrisian Rancor, the primary aggressor and defender of the woman’s fleet, designed with an incredibly strong metal, armed with even more incredible weaponry.
