STRENGTHS

• Firepower: The AT-PT/A gives a single Junktrooper or solider the firepower the firepower of an entire infantry squad with its laser cannon, blaster cannon and missile launcher
• Fast: The AT-PT/A is a fast moving and agile walker, allowing it to cover large amounts of ground in a short period of time
• Small: The AT-PT/A is a physically small vehicle, making it difficult to hit at range and allowing it to be carried aboard transports in large numbers
• Automated: The AT-PT/A is equipped with a large amount of automation, reducing the burden on the walker's single pilot or operator

WEAKNESSES

• Fragile: Though relatively well armored for a vehicle of its size, the AT-PT/A is still vulnerable to being damaged or destroyed by heavy weapons and artillery
• Visibility: Compared to other models of AT-PTs, the AT-PT/A is more difficult to see out of as its cockpit offers less visibility than other examples
• Bipedal: Though less pronounced than the AT-AT series, even moderate damage to one of the AT-PT/A's legs will send the walker tumbling to the ground
• Automated: Should the AT-PT/A's onboard automation systems be compromised, it becomes much more difficult to pilot the walker across the battlefield

DESCRIPTION

During its war against the Wild Space Rebellion, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant learned many valuable lessons, chief among them the need for fast moving, agile walkers that could operate either independently or with infantry support, much as many of the vehicles used by the Wild Space Rebellion could. In response, the Imperial Remnant partnered with the N&Z Umbrella Corporation to create the All Terrain Personal Transport/Advanced, or AT-PT/A.

Compared to a standard AT-PT, the AT-PT/A is more advanced in nearly every conceivable aspect. The AT-PT/A sports a single laser cannon, a single blaster cannon, and a missile launcher capable of firing a variety of different munitions. Each AT-PT/A sports heavier armor and advanced defensive features such as Kaleidoscopic Polymer and Missile Deactivation Transmitters, while retaining its excellent speed and maneuverability thanks to its upgraded power plant.

Furthermore, the AT-PT/A is heavily automated, greatly reducing the burden placed on the single pilot of the walker, though this does make the vehicle especially vulnerable to EMP and ION based attacks. Nonetheless, the walker's small size, great performance and relatively heavy armament makes the walker a popular choice among Mahporeenian forces, and one that can be deployed nearly anywhere across the battlefield.
