TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
  • Large number of "Sentry" and "Sentinel" Combat/Security Droid stations.
  • Compartmentalized workshops, with specialized large and small machine shops for conducting parts maintenance and repair jobs for ships whose own facilities or personnel cannot do the job themselves.
  • Heavy layered ray shields around crew quarters, the primary and auxiliary bridge, and the engine spaces to protect the ship from being hijacked.
  • Ceiling-mounted HOB/F Heavy Repeating Blasters in the hallways to defend the ship from boarders.
  • Particle shields for anti-boarder defense.
  • Hangar equipped to launch three squadrons of "Viper" Droid Starfighters for protection and combat air patrol of a convoy or a ship it is repairing which might not be able to defend itself.
  • All 11 SBRA-24 Fusion Reactors are interlinked with all systems, and any reactor is able to provide power to any system on the ship, they are predominantly deep within the stern of ship and able to handle the power needs of the ship quite easily. Four of them are actually in place in the middle of the ship for the purpose of feeding power lines over to ships whose reactors are knocked out or otherwise unable to get power.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Heavily-redundant damage control systems with fire-fighting foam dispensers, and fire-detection sensors and numerous back-up lines for power, coolant, and fuel.
  • Compartmentalized and internally shielded fuel tanks.
  • Large control arms and large cutting tools and welding attachments for conducting complex repairs to warships of all sorts. These arms deploy from armored cubbies in the sides of the hull where a Contributor-Class ship would normally have its cargo bays. Very long power conduits are able to be strung across to a ship under repair.
  • Flexible docking arms are able to mate with a variety of ships and can be used for rescuing trapped crewmen or passengers of a variety of ships or shuttles.
  • Large tractor beams which are able to latch onto and tow a disabled ship with ease.
  • Hidden, shielded, and armored compartments for crew to hide themselves in the event of an enemy boarding action or small amounts high-value cargo.
STRENGTHS
  • Very fast and maneuverable, built to be able to run away from potential trouble.
  • Tough for a support ship thanks to its shields and damage control.
  • Can carry lots of different repair mechanisms and can repair two ships at once.
  • Its droid starfighters can defend it quite capably.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very under-gunned.
  • Doesn't have a hangar capacity or equipment to manage support craft permanently without non-standard after-production modifications. A single dropship could stay there but it won't be able to be refueled.
  • Small crew, potentially vulnerable to inside job or large boarding action seeing as its crew are repair specialists, not combat crews.
  • The repair bays are full of somewhat fragile components, which can be damaged during repairs of substantial damage.
DESCRIPTION
An effective and fast support ship, it is the backbone of the CRAF's new ability to conduct forward repair work and complex maintenance jobs which don't need a trip to a shipyard or to conduct repairs which need to be done in order for a damaged ship to reach the more complex facilities at a shipyard. This job is something this ship does very, very well, and can assist in tearing apart modules off of a ship and replacing them with new ones thanks to its dedicated crew of repair specialists. When not doing jobs like this, the crew is usually involved with conducting repairs of ship components or starfighter components brought to it for repairs or maintenance that cannot be handled by the ship's own maintenance capabilities. Such specialist jobs include touch reactor components, sensor components, hyperdrive components, etc. This ship is yet another example of the Crossroads Republic Fleet's new emphasis on offensive capability, this time, in their usual preparedness in the arena of logistics.
