Asop Temple

"A set of Sith runes? Perhaps if I removed the dark side energy from those..."

As [member="Dax Fyre"] implied, just using the runes would imply that the Sith once occupied the premises, too. So she then proceeds to remove the dark side energies from the rune, and to render the rune just an inert insignia. At the cost of having to herself absorb the dark side energy from the runes, she feels a little dizzy once she absorbed the dark side energies from the rune. Luckily it wasn't an operation that cost her that much computational power. [member="Candez Stoon"], [member="Kami Meran"] never expected that the rune held the key to the door, locked almost like a bank vault; [member="Myles Vylumnar"] would instead think either [member="Krass Wyms"], [member="Dax Fyre"] or Jessica have wild imaginations. [member="Leo Vandermolen"] would not realize that the insignia was, in fact, a set of runes that controlled the main door's locks. A security system, perhaps. The door slowly began to open and she was amazed as to exactly what she could accomplish with the Force, but she had to be mindful of not letting the dark energies inside of her affect her too much: that will take up more of her own computational power than simply draining the dark side energies from the insignia.

"That was a set of runes they used for keeping gates closed until someone either removed the dark side energies from the runes or their casters commanded the doors to open. But, with their casters long gone, I did what I had to do. The door is now open! As for splitting the group: if you want to do so, just make sure there is at least one Force-user in each subgroup: there is no telling what Force artifacts are in there"

The Reaper of Won Shasot
Dax shrugged, "Up to you guys." he said, responding to the issue of splitting up. The doors of the ancient structure opened slowly, an exhale of stale air rushing out at the first breach of the ancient seals. "As for me...I'd like to see what's behind door number one...anyone else in?" A door, locked by an ancient Sith, with some kind of incantation. As dangerous a prospect it may be, Dax's curiousity got the better of him. Whatever was held within must've been of some value.

"Alright, now this is getting interesting." Leo admitted, "Let's hurry this up. Leo needs himself some forgotten force-artifacts. Dax, I'm with you. Let's clean this place out guys." With that, Leo moved forward, past the group and through the opening into the vast halls that opened before them. The thick darkness grew as the musty feeling of dread filled the open air. What awaited the group amongst these halls was certainly going to be interesting.

"There are enough artifacts for everyone in room #1, so that's quite a lot: the insignia was the master key to opening every single door in the temple"

Jessica feels a little strange, having absorbed so much dark side energy that it takes ups a pretty big chunk of her computational power just for her to absorb it without interfering with her other Force-functions, not to mention the stench of darkness that lies immediately beyond the main doors. While [member="Dax Fyre"] and [member="Leo Vandermolen"] set out to raid what they called room number 1, it would seem that there are enough artifacts for everyone in that room, enough so that they could each have at least one item out of it. But her own instinct cries for her to go somewhere else with [member="Kami Meran"]: somewhere where the presence of the light side of the Force is pretty strong, much like the Light Side Tree on Yutan before the Sith attacked the Jedi Temple there (and that event pushed the Sith Inquisitor to be bought by one of the Sith that took part in this). Somewhere else in the temple, some sort of fountain that would still be a pool for the light side of the Force.

"I believe we should also take a look at the fountain room"

The Reaper of Won Shasot
The halls behind the unsealed door were dark, not a single bit of illumination, save for the rays of light that streamed in behind them, casting long dark shadows before them. "Ok, creepy as hall of doom...check...got your knives right?" he asked of the mercenary, voice slightly muffled by the mask they wore. Neither saber nor blaster would be safe to use in here...more than likely itd just turn the hall into a canon and shoot their pieces into four or five different systems.

"Alright... Let me know if you find something cool, like... like.. s-something."

Myles paused for a moment. The path ahead only lay shrouds of darkness. Before long, he decided he'd venture further down the hall by himself or with anyone who wished to follow him and explore a bit further. Maybe the next room held something of interest. Like [member="Jessica Med-Beq"] said, the rest of the rooms seemed to be unlocked.

"I'll be nearby, gimme a shout if anything goes down... Or, maybe I'll shout."

His body faded into the darkness ahead...

Leo swiveled his head towards Dax, "Your gorram right I got my knives." He exclaimed quietly, drawing one from a hidden ankle pocket in a motion to support the statement. "Now... let's get to it shall we?" And with that he was gone, faded. His Nexu armor aided in concealing him within the darkness as if he was a shade. His feet lightly dancing along the hallway, making no noise what so ever. He'd spent years practicing his stealth on the streets of Coruscant, flying along rooftops or crawling through back alleys. His honed skills had aided him on more than one occasion throughout his existence, and they were certainly gonna come in handy now.

Kani scannrd the room 700 rooms all over 100 meters ans a 900 meter maim hall.
" How do you loose a place this big? " she joked "
" Good news looks like energy signatures are clear. so investigating is going to be easy once i get the lights working propperly. " she added still looking at her datapad.
" ok [member="Myles Vylumnar"] you are with me best if it's one forcer to a non i suppose. "

Dax silently faded into the darkness alongside Leo. He kept track of the man's presencethroigh the Force, and together they crept the inky blackness. Not as adept at stealth as the mercenary, he was silent none the less, soft steps makig no sound on the stone floors.

Ahead of them a low red light seemed to seep out of a perfectly vertical crack in the wall. A door.

Krass Wyms

Jedi Tech Division
Krass was allowing the force to guide her and had fallen back while she was searching. Smaller legs compared to the others here so that she would use up more energy while sticking around. "Alright lets see what we are able to find." There was a small look on her face though when she moved around. Bringing up information and whatever she might be able to find here until she found what she was looking for. The temple here was different and pre-jedi in a decent region of the galaxy that it might have been visited by the bendu and.... the silver jedi had a living bendu who had been training many of them in how to read their language if they needed it. Krass was able to see and feel the others with the force though as she moved.

Jessica knew that the dark energies of the lock runes are making her more and more uncomfortable, eating away at her mental abilities, so that the total amount of computational power she has at her disposal is steadily decreasing. At any rate, she didn't have enough computational power to change her refraction indices. In that case, she feels an urge to get to the fountain room, for which she ran using Force-speed, albeit not for very long, which was at the other end of the 900-meter-long grand hall. Even so, after she ran, Force-assisted, for the whole length of the grand hall, she was still a little short of breath, and her internal engine (that is, her heart), was still pounding for a while, even as she was using the Force-energies inside the fountain room to recover. And yet, being in a light-sided Force-nexus would have its benefits for light-siders like her. Or [member="Krass Wyms"]. But [member="Dax Fyre"]? He was not the same as a Force-user as Jessica or Krass were.

"If you ever feel yourselves needing to recharge your Force-batteries, come right up there, so long as you are not using the dark side" she told over comms to the rest of the team.

And now the whole deal with Graug became clear to her, especially since she've read that, at some point, the Sith were relying on Graug as the rabble infantry that was used before. Which means that the Sith actually got a hold of the place at some point, and then abandoned it, she thought. To her it is now clear as day that, even though they may have had other reasons to abandon the temple, its questionable defensibility was one of the big reasons. After all, Asop had an alcohol atmosphere, and that meant that the Sith couldn't use Force-lightning or their lightsabers to defend the place. With [member="Leo Vandermolen"], [member="Candez Stoon"] and [member="Kami Meran"] in other rooms, she could keep track of everyone in the party using Force-sense, so she could know where they are; their Force-signatures have little to nothing in common with Graug. Speaking of Graug, some of those are closing in on her, armed with a longsword (by Graug standards; a Graug longsword would be, for normal humans, more like a bastard sword or perhaps even claymore) in one hand and with a shield in another, wearing full plate armor.

"I believe the Sith may have abandoned this temple once they found that Force-lightning - or lightsabers - were unusable, thus forcing them to rely on Graug armed with primitive weapons, so watch out for Graug armed with cold steel weapons" she pursued over comms.

Candez Stoon stopped for a moment, suddenly admiring the architecture. With the talk of the force, and everything else that had happened already, he hadn't taken time to take in the structure from the inside. He ended up, without his own knowing, straying behind as everyone else went ahead. he only just realized this when he didn't hear anyone talking, and moved quickly to catch up with them. And there he found, having somehow gone into another room. "Um...guys?" He looked around, trying to find a sign of anyone. "[member="Kami Meran"]? Anyone?" He only remembered her name out of everyone else. He mentally kicked himself for having gotten distracted.

Then a voice came over the comms, something he completely forgot to use. The voice of [member="Jessica Med-Beq"] came through, and he was about to reply. Before he felt his heart skip a beat. So, he couldn't use his blasters if one of these 'Graug' could even find him. He wasn't that good a kicker either. Or punching. Or headbutting, even. "Uh, hey. These 'Graug', do they by any chance have something like a weak point. In case I come across one...Plus, I think I'm lost. Not a big deal or anything" he added, acting like he was keeping his cool.

[member="Krass Wyms"] [member="Dax Fyre"] [member="Leo Vandermolen"] [member="Myles Vylumnar"]

" easy [member="Candez Stoon"] hit them till they stop twitching. " kami yelled over too the duros.
" this place looks a lot older than the Sith i think. still.. " she drew her Chakhrams.
"Species acide all beings are weak at the joints so go there arms legs neck. you name it. over draw them keep them off balance. " she explained.

"I dunno, throw rocks at them or something." he said over the comms.

Myles ventured forth into the temple, [member="Kami Meran"] nearby. Rocks and rubble crunched under his feet at every step he took. His feet shambled over the cracks in the floor. The air was slightly stuffy as there wasn't much air flow, aside from the cracks in the walls and ceiling. This place had clearly been abandoned for quite some time. Maybe a few centuries. Maybe a millennia, or two. It wasn't something Myles would really know about.

"Gonna check down here. If I die, uh, don't take my stuff."

He came about a hallway, with row of doors along either side. Seemed like the quarters of Force-users long past. The doors had carvings- ancient carvings that Myles had no clue about. They were probably just decoration, he thought. He entered the room closest to him, prying the old stone doors with his hands. Solid rock slid across the ground. The room inside was dark and barren. There was a nightstand at the corner of the room carrying ancient tattered garbs. Nothing useful. He searched through the nightstand, finding them to be completely empty. Then, he noticed it...

"What the..."

Myles turned his head to his left, looking at the bed. There was a lump- a... body-shaped lump under the covers. His hand slowly crept to the tip of the blanket, slowly and silently hovering over. In a single swift movement, a skeleton was revealed from under the blanket. It gave him a slight shock at first. But this was just the dead long gone. It was almost like it... called to him. Myles reached over and picked up the skull, which easily snapped off the spine. He stared into it, or rather it stared into him. His thoughts were but a blur as he almost collapsed from a trance. Suddenly he dropped it, shattering across the ground as ancient brittle bone fell to the ground.

Myles took a step back. His heart rate was a bit higher than usual.

By now, her dark side energies having faded a little, she feels a little refreshed in terms of computational power. The Graug made their approach towards her, in a threatening fashion: hopefully she would be able to use the mind trick at range, and she knew that the Graug were not the smartest people around. Of course, because they only used melee weapons, and they recklessly charged at her, time was short, not only to evade their charge in a straight line, but also to activate the mind trick. At this point, she knew that, while she had the morphology of a female Wookiee, she did not have the strength of one; she decides to hide behind a pillar. Hopefully they won't notice her because the far side of the pillar is out of sight: the column is massive and wide enough to hide a Wookiee behind it. When she feels that one of those Graug is at sufficient range to attempt using the mind trick on one, she tries to do so from behind the pillar, while making sure that she is not being seen by said Graug.

"You will fight the other Graug" she told that particular Graug in an attempt to mind-trick it.

"Me fight other Graug"

And now the Force-induced massacre of Graug began: while the other Graug were somewhat revulsed by seeing a Jedi mind-tricking one of their own, backstabbing one of their own, the mind-tricked Graug aimed for the necks of their fellow Graug. Jessica then used telekinesis to summon the dead Graug's sword to her hands: the sword was a little heavy, but that was because of the blade width. With that said, [member="Myles Vylumnar"], [member="Kami Meran"] and [member="Candez Stoon"] now know where to aim, say, throwing knives; Jessica would attempt to parry other swords or axes if the mind-trick Graug was prematurely killed. For the time being though, the Graug fighting each other was... too funny to be true.
