Asop Temple

The Reaper of Won Shasot
Dax checked to make sure he had his slugthrower, knife and sabers. All there. The man retrieved an extra breather tank and boarded the Y2K Freighter and took a seat, awaiting the others to board. Time to see what lie beneath them. The prospect of kyber crystals alone was enough to get Dax's blood pumping. He had a certain affinity to crafting the iconic weapon of Forcer's everywhere.

Jessica, now onboard the Y2K, made sure that she packed everything: her lightsaber, her heavy particle beam rifle, backup breather tanks, especially wearing armor. Even though she know that she can use the Force to fight her way through if necessary, she'd rather not take inconsiderate risks. She could always use Electric Judgment to recharge her ammunition, though, so she decided not to pack extra ammunition packs for the particle beam rifle. But she realized that she was packing heavy, especially with a heavy particle beam rifle if the need arose for heavy firepower and backup breather tanks. She wondered how the feth she would be able to make it inside the temple, especially with the rumors floating around that there would be an ancient mummy taking up refuge in there. Would the presence of the Force allow her to keep carrying such a heavy load without breaking her back by making her use some sort of mind-over-matter power? Hopefully she wouldn't strain her brain to the point it overheats, in which case her ability to use the Force will degrade pretty quickly. That is, she hoped that she wouldn't need to use it that much.

Candez looked over to [member="Kami Meran"] when he heard footsteps coming his way. And saw that she carried some boots for him. He looked over them, trying to figure out what they do, but decided he could try them out later. So the Duros fitted them on, finding they fit just fine, and then Kami told everyone that it was time to get on. He moved onto the Y2K and sat himself down next tohe ladder where he got his pack at and started tinkering with his blaster, as well as giving some looks over his new boots. Whatever they did, he did not know. Though it did give him a few ideas. He had no thoughts on the journey ahead as he examined his weapon and boots.

[member="Candez Stoon"] ( knife is additional. aka sold separate. )
She let the rest enter and her settled then took off in to the atmosphere.
thankfully she has sett up a few small basses and atmosphere generators letting land safely.

Krass Wyms

Jedi Tech Division
Krass was looking at what was there when she went towards the temple, the ship had gotten her down and she closed the face mask so that she would be able to move around Sticking with her attention on some of the things. Mainly the others who were here before activating the wrist weapons to spin them around and select what she wanted to see weapon wise. The force crystal shot and her shoulder cannon went easy for giving her something to move with. her saber on her hip and her hammer would give her hands something to do before moving to get into the temple and she was letting the force energies go through the crystal weave of the armor that empowered the hammer itself for making an opening.

The Reaper of Won Shasot
As the ship rocked, entering the atmosphere, Dax prepped his rebreather. Slipping the mask over his head he took a deep, experimental breath. Everything seemed to be in order. Tank had pressure. He was good to go.

He stood as the vessel touched down and waited for the Mandalorian to lower the boarding ramp so that they might embark on the planet. He was curious to see the planet.

" Ok i know the mask's are uncomfortable so take some time and get used to them. " she said exiting the ship and walking to the edge of the cave.
" see if that prevents any panic attacks. it can happen. " she admitted hulikg her way up the hill to the temple.

Myles was all geared up and ready to go. Usually, he'd come up with a few quips and witty remarks on the way there, but instead he focused on the job. Although he wasn't a thief (usually), he worked for his own benefit. It was him before anyone else, but that didn't mean he wouldn't look out for his comrades.

"Oh... Wow, this place is... yeah..." he said quite unastonishingly. He followed behind [member="Kami Meran"] up the hill and into the cave. He flipped on his head-mounted flashlight, which beamed through the mouth of the dark cave. Somewhere off in the distance, a glimmer reflected light.

"Do we... Can I..." he spoke, trailing his words as he tried to find the right wording.

"Kark, I really hope we find something cool..." he spat out.

Jessica would soon find out whether there actually was a mummy lurking inside the temple or not. She put her rebreather on, and her tank had pressure, so she knew that she was going to breathe once on the planet. When [member="Kami Meran"] opened the boarding ramp and led the others into the cave, she knew clearly where her role lied among the party: magic. In several members, such as [member="Krass Wyms"], [member="Dax Fyre"] or even [member="Orion Trex"], [member="Leo Vandermolen"], [member="Myles Vylumnar"], [member="Bato Golden"] or [member="Candez Stoon"], some of them expected that Jessica use her spells, of which her offensive big three were Electric Judgment, pyro/cryokinesis and, of course, Force-healing if necessary. Even though sometimes her massive frame can be a hindrance, as can possibly be the case in a cave, she often feels as if her brain is a lot faster than her body. She regularly had to get down if she doesn't want her head to bang against the stalactites.

"Listen up: if any of you get injured, I can use Detoxify Poison or Force-healing. I might not be the best, but I will try my best to help you if you need it" she told the others over comms.

"Who dare defile the sacred Jedi temple of Asop?" a Graug-looking ghostly figure asked, in a spooky voice.

"Graug! There are Graug Force-ghosts around here!" Jessica screamed, while shooting an ice-blue shard, as it usually would when weaponizing cryokinesis, after having solved for the root-mean-square speed of the Force-ghost.

Orion shifted around in his new armor as the ship landed down on the planet's surface. [member="Kami Meran"] talked about the possible discomfort being felt by the others, but it was nothing major. The armor was going to protect him from the planet and the toxic air, and that was all that really mattered.

As the crew departed from the ship, [member="Myles Vylumnar"] mentioned something about wanted to find something cool. Orion merely shrugged and stepped off the ship. He strolled into the cave, letting his arms hang as he strolled through. He was in no rush, and decided to nonchalantly look around.

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]'s reassurance about force healing was reassuring. But he didn't figure he would need it. He had managed to squeeze out of pretty tight scrapes plenty of times before. But as he walked and looked around, he heard the exclamation about a ghost. He turn around to see the force judgement flying from Jessica's fingers, flying straight toward the ghostly voice.

Orion pulled his lightsaber to his right hand, igniting it and spinning it quickly before pointing it at the ghost.

Candez followed everyone out, the suit and his mask protecting him from the planet's environment. They headed toward the temple, a marvel for him to behold as it was the first temple he had ever seen this close. Everyone started to enter, him being at the back as his eyes scanned over every detail it could, taking it slow to take it all in. He had the same goal as [member="Myles Vylumnar"], to find something cool. He would have to thank [member="Kami Meran"] later for bringing him here, as well as the boots.

But soon they were inside, still at the rear. Now that he was inside the cave, he couldn't help but feel the creeps. [member="Jessica Med-Beq"] offered healing, so that was at least somewhat comforting. Although he did not expect any injuries to occur in the first place. That was till someone shouted something, and then a saber was ignited. He pulled up his blaster, trying to see what had caused such hassle, not spotting the ghost. "Where's the ghost?!"

It seemed that everybody had taken Leo's signature style of dark Nexu armor, making him feel a lot less unique. Well, at least he didn't have to borrow anything extra off of [member="Kami Meran"] and his Nexu was already in his size so he wouldn't be uncomfortable during the expedition. Well at least not from the armor. A few minutes later they were boarding one of Kami's ships and off on their way to the planet.

Once they had arrived, Leo donned the helmet, kitted with a re-breather and some extra goodies to aid their activities. Leo usually preferred not to wear the helm during his outings, instead wearing his mask when needed, but with this atmosphere, there really wasn't an argument. The air felt toxic around the rag-tag group as they exited the ship. Leo cocked his head and examined his surroundings, he spied a large basin far off in the distance. Some prior research had told him that the liquids on this planet were actually pure alcohol of all things. "Anyone care for a skinny-dip?" He joked, his helmet obscuring the grin on his face as they moved for the temple ahead.

The temple wasn't much, he'd not seen many but comparing this one to the one he had found on Hoth, it was clear that this one was in poor condition. Most of the pillars had collapsed in on themselves and the entrance didn't make it look exactly stable. "Well..." He began as the group moved into the entrance "This should be fun." The sarcasm was pretty evident.

Hearing the sudden commotion about some sort of ghost, Myles darted his head around. He quick-drew his pistol, which was his only real gear beside a vibroknife, some extra utilities, and a duffle bag to carry around loot in. Typical of him.

While he'd instantly drew his blaster and aimed it at whatever direction people were looking at, he decided to let the group handle this one. Firing a blaster in a cave was just plain annoying. It'd echo and pierce your ears, and possibly could even bounce off of something. Myles decided to avoid that. Instead, he'd lay back with his gun drawn as his allies took care of their assailant.

Meanwhile, Myles felt a subtle disturbance. It was a disturbance he'd felt before, but he never really learned about it. It was the sort of thing to tug at one's mind, pestering them. Myles pushed it aside in his mind. It was probably just the cave, he thought.

Dax instantly jumped when the tall science-y woman yelled about the ghost. Not because he was afraid of said ghost, but because he knew that everyone would be drawing their blasters, or worse yet, sabers. "Wait!" he hollered at the group, "Any energy based weapon is gonna set the whole atmosphere up in flames guys! Even slugthrowers. No blasters. No Lightsabers. Nothing that creates even a spark!"

"There arn't any Ghosts arroung here ive had my people here for a while. it's just Alcohol vapors mixing. its a local weather phenomenon. plese try not to ignite my planet. i kind of like it here. " she said making her way too the temple. out side tt looked like a small rundown ruin.
witch was why it was missed for so long.
but it obviously led to a larger thing like an... what were those bid ice meteors in water? ice??? ice??
ice burgers? well close enough.
no more like Scarlacks all you saw were 1% of the thing the 99% were underground.

" Dosnt look like much dose it? " she said looking at the weird statues.
" this thing obviously has a lot under the sheets. " she said looking over the maps scanning the area.

"Interesting: Force-ghosts can somehow take advantage of the weather phenomena, like air currents forming inside caves"

Where the alleged Graug Force-ghost was, there is only a heap of frozen alcohol by now. If I can't use anything that creates sparks, I'm relieved that I can't use Elecric Judgment in here... and also this means that I don't need to use my brain too intensively, she thought, now relieved by what [member="Dax Fyre"] said about what she can and cannot use. She knew that solving for the root-mean-square speed of a Force-ghost uses less of her intellect than solving for a Force-ghost's Maxwell equations. Poor her: she couldn't afford the luxury of not having to think about how intensively she uses her mental functions when using the Force, and at times, that was a pretty significant limitation. This also means that her two weapons cannot be used either: cryokinesis is the way to go for offense. But now that she had the temple in sight, she stood next to [member="Kami Meran"] while waiting for [member="Myles Vylumnar"], [member="Leo Vandermolen"], [member="Candez Stoon"], [member="Krass Wyms"] or even [member="Orion Trex"].

"If Force-ghosts can somehow take advantage of the weather conditions to appear, then one would expect NFUs to perceive the Force-ghosts thus formed differently: one such Force-ghost would look like a Graug for someone, a mummy for someone else. Actual Force-ghosts require Force-sensitives to see them, however"

Blah, blah, blah...

That's all that Myles heard. He eagerly wanted to get into the action, but he'd have to heed [member="Dax Fyre"]'s warning. He holstered his gun, which limited him to just his vibroknife. Hopefully he wouldn't have to use it. Myles followed [member="Kami Meran"] and the group forward. They'd eventually come up to some ruins, which didn't seem like much. Myles, however, could tell they were hiding some interesting things. Ruins like this always had something tucked away inside them; Something he'd learned as a scavenger.

"Oh, by the way... Did we have a plan, or were we just gonna waltz in there?"

Dax shrugged and looked at the Mandalorian who'd assembled the venture. Knowing the woman, they were winging it. "Lets just take the temple one step at a time. Stick to pairs or something. I don't rxactly trust these places."

Maybe Dax had seen a few too many holos but the thought of going into an abandoned, ruined temple, although intriguing, set his hair to stand on end. You never knew what ancient threat lurked around the next corner.

Krass Wyms

Krass was looking at them and raisedan eyebrow but she could see plenty with the eye until she was looking around. "If there is a force ghost then it would be bound to something. Or someone, they dissipate after awhile without something that can continuely feed them and keep them with energy." She was checking out some of the other things they had going on here. She had the glove with soul stones in case there were dangerous spirits and all of the other pieces of equipment while moving forward. "We should be careful though, going in the temple unaware or thinking you know everything can be dangerous without the proper protection."

( OOC SORRY for the delay. few things got in the way. my memory one. )

Kami entered the hallway " That's why i wanted expert's. i don't know all this force Bantha poodoo. that's why you are here. traps i can do. Haunted house shev? not at all. " she said.
