ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Bioelectric Field: A modified power gland housed within the structure creates a specialized energy field that offers protection against the Bryn's tech disruption by the likes of Syphons and other bioweapons with similar abilities. (Note: This only works against remote AOE abilities and not direct physical contact with the fighter.)
  • Homing Lasers: Inspired by Nantex Starfighters and the TERA (Tractor Energy Reactive Armor) system of the Super Star Destroyers Shining Path and Hyperion Ascendant, the custom Saberhawk employs lasers cannons that use arrays of miniature tractor beams that allow bolts to be fired off axis at nearly 360 degrees, making the starfighter a threat to engage at any angle.
  • "Third Eye" Crystal Sensor: Exclusive to Force Users, these Kyber crystals are specially attuned to enhance a user's extrasensory perception and telepathic abilities, greatly improving situational awareness. Directly tied into the fighter's avionics, adept pilots may use Third Eye for targeting and detection in place of the standard sensor/targeting package. Useful in situations against signal jamming, spoofing, and stealth tech.
STRENGTHS
  • Locus - The Third Eye Crystal greatly enhances FU pilots perceptions and detection abilities.
  • Extreme speed and maneuverability give the Amphrite a serious edge even against dedicated interceptors and drones.
WEAKNESSES
  • Active use of Third Eye makes users more susceptible to detection by Force based means. It is vulnerable to suppression or interference by relevant anti-force technology.
  • To increase performance, the composite armor package was stripped down to the bare minimum. Without its shielding, the fuselage is flimsy.
DESCRIPTION

Enjoying the use of the Saberhawk as part of the Starfighter Corps, Finley took one of the high-performance interceptors, tuning the engines to their very limits to create an even more nimble fighter. Other upgrades include a more powerful avionics package for improved scouting and filling in the ECM role left by the removal of the chaff gun.

While the Saberhawk had been created with a specific role in large scale fleeting actions - built around its gravitic pulse generator - Finley opted for a more general loadout to make the Saberhawk more flexible in its roles and provide non-lethal options for taking down targets.

Most of these changes occurred under the hood, so its silhouette is nearly identical to a Saberhawk (and in turn a vanilla Delta-7), so unsuspecting adversaries may be taken by surprise with its insane agility, more sophisticated ECM, and expanded weapons loadout.
