Objective: He tried what?!
Tags: [member="Alkor Centaris"]

Leaning back some Anansi watched as Alkors fist jabbed toward his face. He was two feet short of his goal causing him to look like a child trying to hit an animal in a tree. It didn't happen. Somewhere within Anansi's mind he gave the shorter man respect for his action. Again this was somewhere and somewhere was not here at the moment. The only thing Anansi was thinking now was about the action itself. This rodent just threatened me? Infidel.

"Kebbur ni miak gar vaar'ika be a jag!" Anansi's tonge switched to the mans own. Sulu was not the only language he knew. Mando'a was a language within Anansi's ability though it was limited. Sadly the best of Mando'a he knew were insults. Raising his right hand in a position similar to if the Sandali was holding a greatsword resting on his shoulder.

He looked ridicuious for a split second intill a greatsword actually somehow appeared in his hand! The force resonated off the weapon.

" Rodent." He shot another insult. It was ready to go down.

Cardinal could feel the fabric rip from his body and he cursed audibly. He'd spent a lot of credits on that suit. Not that he loved wearing suits, but he did enjoy the thought of having a suit for dumb events such as these. When Uthixo slammed into the ground, Cardinal wiped a slob of blood that had spilled from the corner of his lip. Things were definitely getting out of hand, of course that was to be expected with the Sandali. Cardinal's eyes met his brother's and he exhaled softly. The fire had not died at all. Even in the corner of his eyes he could see his neice entering the event. Cardinal hel a hand up, hoping to warn the woman that a Sandali duel was not something to interupt.

He'd made the mistake of leaving himself open. In the next moment his chest grew warm as The Force flowed around him. Oh no. The man shot back, like a rocket sent out into the depths of space. The man flew from Uthixo with a loud grunt. He felt the rock and concrete around him shatter from his size and weight.

The man found himself in an alleyway, his boot sinking into the concrete as he slid back. Cardinal exhaled loudly, his eyes rising to meet a charging Uthixo.

He lowered himself into a defensive stance and when Uthixo came to him, he was ready. The Force flooded into the man's legs giving him the speed of a creature posessed. When Uthixo came close, Cardinal charged forward, cutting the man short. His arms wrapped around Uthixo in a mighty bear-hug before he used the man's momentum and swung him towards the wall adjacent to the one Cardinal had been through. If Cardinal was going through a wall, so was Uthixo. The man swung Uthixo towards the wall with a mighty yell. "Mayelfa!"

He moved out of the way with swiftness uncharacteristic of his size. Force Training, perhaps? When the Greatsword came into view, all of his questions were answered. An Adept of some skill, and with martial training to match. Perfect. It wasn't just another tall, empty headed opponent with a big mouth and no teeth. Insults continued to fall from the larger man's lips, and Alkor wasted no time.

The telltale ignition came with a snap and hiss, and his orange blade screamed to life. Annoyance filled Alkor, his failure to strike enough to stoke the flames that would become anger. Rage twisted his insides into knots, blackness from the Dark Side of the Force sifting through him virulently. He too was a beast, albeit of a different kind.

The Sandali was fast.

Alkor injected his muscles with borrowed power, stolen from other parts of his body to augment even the most basic movements to superhuman levels. He dropped low and bounded forward, intent on thrusting his shoulder into the gut of the much larger man. If successful, he would send them both sprawling through the wall.

From there, the Force only knew what came next.

"MAYELFA!"

Women may have enjoyed being in the embrace of Cardinal, Uthixo regretted every decision that led him to this moment. It felt as though his bones would shatter within the larger Sandali's group. Feeling bits of stone and permacrete coming collapsing down around him Uthixo realized what happened all too late as he flew through the wall leading into yet another building. Inside this one there were strobe lights glowing and illuminating the vast dance floor that the bloody and scarred body of Uthixo slid across leaving a long stain of red through the center.

Within the club, people began screaming clearing way for the large Sandali while in the background the voices of bouncers could be heard. "Hey they trying to shut down the club! Get them the kark out of here!" Out of nowhere the two rotund figures of Gammoreans showed up, one placing a hand on Uthixo yanking the Sandali to his feet. Wobbling on his feet and in no mood to toy with the oversized swine Uthixo drew back his fist and threw it upwards catching the creature in the jaw. On impact, the force reacted exploding and sending the pig squealing through the air and into a nearby table.

Turning back to his original enemy some of the wounds on his body closing due to the natural healing factor of the Sandali. Arms raising Uthixo hammered on his chest declaring his challenge once more to Cardinal. "Tuanze!!!"

Objective: Fight!

Speedy little rat is he not? There was little time to react at this distance. Closing the gap was a simple task of stepping forward it was expected to happen honestly. What was not expected was how hard and strong this man was. With a crashing thud Anansi felt [member="Alkor Centaris"] shoulder plow into his gut with a force that reminded him of a Reeks charge. With how angry the man was, He could easily be mistaken as one too. Again there was a crush as Anansi felt a wall give way against his own back. Both men were carried by the force into the next room.

The darkside empowered this man and it felt horrid. Anansi was the opposite. Within him was the light and the light he would shine!

Back hitting the floor the Sandali reached out with his left hand at Alkors scruff. Empowered by the force and under the effects of his fathers sword, Anansi looked to throw the man over his body. If successful the man would be heaved into the kitchen with the enhanced strength of a Sandali male in his prime!

" Mayelfa?! I'll show you Mayelfa!" he said under his breath.

" MAYEFLA!" The shaman shouted aloud.

He'd flown from one end of the galaxy to the next.

He'd been in and out of a lot of space ports, in a lot of different eras. The golden age of the Galactic Republic. The diaspora of the Dark Times. The chaos of the Omega War. And the uncertainty that permeated the era that had come to be regarded as the so-called Endgame. He'd seen places that were a lot classier than this joint, but he'd also been in more than his share that made this spot seem opulent by comparison.

No, the Broken Wheel seemed like it was a relatively decent spot along the spectrum of offerings that this galaxy held. A tad on the tourist gimmick-y side of things, but in that respect it reminded him of the resort town that he hailed from on Corellia. Broken Wheel could have been one of any number of similarly apportioned establishments that one could have found in Bela Vistal.

Not that he had come looking for a taste of home. He'd just come looking for a good Smuggler's Pie and maybe a hand of cards or two.

Visibility was everything. Scherezade looked at it, the most unhappy of expressions on her face. It was a lie. She had been visible. She had been on every front that a member of the Confederacy could be at, even while being a drunk and broken mess. It had not mattered. It had not earned her compassion, or mercy, or anything else. The Confederates had mocked her, whispered about her, and treated her like the dirt upon their boot, no matter how many times she'd delivered exactly what she was supposed to. She had done so for months prior to killing herself, and not once received a kind word in return.

So she'd placed Madalena in her place, and Madalena had done exactly the same things Scherezade had, but with a different name. Suddenly there were no more mocking glances or harsh treatments. People had treated Madalena properly, except for those who momentarily had thought she was Scherezade. Madalena had told Scherezade about all of it. It had made Scherezade furious.

And soon, Madalena would be back. Her body was ready, her stats on every monitor clear and stable. Her new body had ceased the rapid accelerated growth and now it was just a question of time before Scherezade flew back to Kamino to perform the Transfer Life ceremony, bring Madalena back from the space between dimensions, and give her her own body with which she could walk around, be loved, love, and be respected.

And what would happen to Scherezade afterwards? Cardinal had said he would not let them imprison her, but that was not enough to bring calmness to her heart. She could not truly delay the ceremony, she knew. And yet she dreaded what would happen in the days that followed that.

Now was another one of those social gatherings on a new planet that would give itself to the Confederacy. Scherezade shook her head before the confident, smiling expression replaced her unhappy one. She was still parading as the woman everyone had called Pathfinder Madalena Antares. Other than Cardinal no one present would know she was herself.

Almost no one.

Scherezade eyed the list of people that had been signed up for the speed dating. [member="Gerwald Lechner"]? Really? Shaking her head, she began to walk away from the entrance to the speed dating area. The last time she'd been involved in speed dating it had been unwillingly, and she had been mocked for being a "maiden". So many things had happened since that she did not wish to learn what new mockeries would await her if she dared step into that room.

Sounds of fights were coming to her left, but she paid them no mind. There were enough places to visit if one did not want to speed date or get into a fight. What did she want? She did not know. Perhaps, hopefully, find a friendly face, to make one of the last nights of her parading as Madalena Antares less painful.

The heels of Krystal’s boots echoed across the tiles as she approached the empty table. Double checking her number, she ascertained that yes, though she was fashionably late, it would seem her companion-to-be was later. She slipped into her chair and waited until she could catch the attention of a server. Avoiding some of the heavier drinks, Krystal chose instead something sweeter. She never felt at ease when her head was fuzzy.
Some of the other tables in the room seemed to be having a similar problem as her, with only one patron or perhaps none. Knowing the Confederacy and the tendency of some towards, well, more aggressive pastimes, she was surprised to see that most in the room were dressed up and socializing. Soon, though, a shout echoed from outside and she was not surprised. That was more how Krystal expected a speed-dating night to go down.
Though the price of the ticket should have told her something, Krystal hadn’t really been expecting everyone to dress so nicely. She tugged at the hem of her tight skirt and hoped her first date wouldn’t remark upon her outfit. This was her first opportunity to really meet anyone in the Confederacy -- and maybe meet someone -- and she really did not want to screw it up.

At first Keva had assumed this had been some sort of punishment. Maybe she had caused too much damage when leading her forces: or it was merely some sick joke from High Command. Of course. Her fears had been misplaced, and the somewhat messy and frazzled looking Chiss (her attempts at seeming “casual”) was sitting at her table. Alone. She must have gotten some Reek as a pair up because he had already gone into some fight at the other side of the of the establishment. With her nerves somewhat calmed, and with maybe an ever so slight disappointment in her. Unamused, and with head resting in her hand, Keva scrolled her way through the datapad she had brought: something about saying romantic things in Galactic Basic.

Location- market area
Objective- sell random things

Not often did stardust ever go somewhere to set up a small little shop, her advisors had told her that it would be a good idea to go to a few places set up a small shop and sell things like trinkets, gems, different wines, and clothing made from fine silk in nice earthy colors something to represent her people

welcome welcome! To imahalyans goods! We have fine flower wines made from the best flowers! Dresses and clothing made from the best fibers and silks! Gem, diamonds, and more jewelry made from scratch!

She called out in a cheery tone, loving the atmosphere of the market as her helper helped with selling items to those that stopped

Kelsie wasn't fully sure why she decided to sign up for this. She wasn't exactly single, but then again, she never considered herself taken. The chance to meet a few higher-ups in the CIS was a tantalizing one, though. Improve her standing, build connections for later -- these were the kinds of people she'd likely meet again, so she needed to make a lasting impression.

She wasn't exactly dressed for the occasion. She wore a nice, casual dress and simple brown jacket, and had even let her hair down, but her attire wasn't as nice as some of the other people she'd spotted here. Lace dresses? Weird stuff. She'd been the infiltrator of her squad, but wearing those fancy dresses always sucked. It was so much harder to draw her gun from those things.

Someone had the right idea, showing up in full Mandalorian armor. Kelsie was a little more subtle, though -- the various weapons she had were concealed rather than displayed openly. But her most important weapon was the most hidden. Three Taozin amulets, combined with a mastery of Force Stealth hid her from detection by her presence. Maybe she shouldn't be trying to conceal herself in that way -- after all, speed dating means getting to know someone rather quickly. They might like to know if she could kick their ass with some scary space magic.

The young woman waited for her date with her feet up on the table, balancing on the back legs of her little chair as her eyes scanned the room. Time for a fun night, maybe?

It didn't seem more than a few moments after Amelia gently took the young woman's hand as she offered a smile before a fight broke out in the room. With a heavy sigh, and a clenched fist, Amelia kept her smile upon her lips as her golden hues shot towards the disturbance. Calming herself, she returned her attention to the lovely woman before her as she nodded quietly.

"Likewise my dear, its a pleasure to meet you Ms. Hadley, though I suppose this is a better setting for such a meeting than some battleground."

She cooed softly while her hand lightly fiddled with the glass before her, watching as a waiter brought the young woman a glass of wine. She motioned quietly towards her own glass, lifting it up before nodding to the waiter.

"I've developed the habit of ensuring that where ever I go, my specific drink is available to me; even if it means bringing a few bottles for the bar to stock for an event."

Bringing the glass to her lips, a soft smirk crossed them, flashing a hint of her fang for a moment before she sipped from the sanguine liquid. Another heavy sigh escaped her lips as she set the glass down, hearing a chair shattering against an individual as she brought her hand up. Lighting brushing a bit of dust off of her shoulder, she was beginning to tire of the attitude and bravado of those that seemingly couldn't function in proper society.

"Perhaps we may be better off at the bar. Or elsewhere."

She offered a coy smirk.

Lace. Hated. Dresses.

Getting dressed up in general was something Lace only did when it was required of her, for whatever reason. Makeup had never even touched her face before this night either... But Aya insisted. Really, Lace couldn't understand why Aya wanted her to get dressed up. They were going to a bar, not a formal ball, for the Force's sake! At least Aya had agreed to wear a more modern dress for Lace, as compensation.

As Aya finished up Lace's makeup, she looked into the mirror, and almost didn't recognize herself. Stunned into silence, Lace put down the mirror and coughed into her fist, an almost invisible blush on her cheeks. "Thank you, Aya. It looks perfect... I think?" Lace smiled as she stood from the chair, and smoothed out her dress. "Let's get going then, now that you've turned me into a doll." A teasing smirk spread across Lace's face as she headed out to leave the small ship they had arrived to Stobar in, waiting for Aya at the exit.

WELL, THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY!
The Viceroy was finding it extremely difficult to concentrate on the stunning woman she'd been paired up with, despite all signs pointing to Amelia making it very difficult to focus on anything else. Between the quickly growing group of men at the entrance throwing chair, each other and-... Was that man picking up a droid?! Even the softly spoken words of her companion for the first part of the evening were being lost in the escalating cacophony. She turned her pale blue eyes back to the vision before her and offered a sad though apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Ms. von Sorenn - I'm finding it a little difficult to hear much of anything. Unless I'm mistaken, you suggested that we relocate to the bar? That sounds positively brilliant."

The blonde slid back up out of her seat, collecting her wine glass in one hand and her clutch in the other, gently motioning to the bar at the far end of the room. "If you'd be so kind as to lead the way." She realized as she spoke, and with an annoyed crinkle at the edges of her eyes, that the screaming of 'MAYELFA!' over her shoulder was likely drowning her out. She repeated herself a little louder as she motioned once more, "So sorry! Perhaps you'd be so kind as to lead the way!" Valencia took several steps towards the bar and indicated that Amelia should lead the way. She wasn't sure what exactly the Viceroyalty would have to say about the elite of the CIS military and government completely totaling a cantina at a charity event... But she assumed that at the very least the Exarchs may have some feelings about it... Knowing the Vicelord he may have dove in to get his knuckles bloodied.

As the two women collected their drinks and swept themselves off to the bar, Valencia noted another unimpressed face in the crowd. She'd seen this face in her debriefing after Eshan, and felt a tiny smile pulling at the corners of her lips. [member="Scherezade deWinter"] was a hero of the Confederacy and she was well acquainted with tales of the woman's prowess in battle. As she and Amelia made for the bar, Valencia leaned forward and spoke to the lace-clad woman who lead their pair, "Ms. Von Sorenn - would you mind terribly if we invited Ms. Antares to join us? I have a feeling she might have some insight into the madness this evening is very quickly dissolving into." Valencia's wine-carrying hand lifted as she waved to Madalena, motioning for the woman to join them at the bar.

The fight had not had much of a chance to continue in the few seconds that it took Scherezade to elegantly pass through it, casting one dirty look at [member="Cardinal Vi'dreya"] for his involvement in it.

Catching the motion of [member="Valencia Hadley"], Scherezade blinked. Before she had sort of killed herself, she knew all the main faces and many non-main faces that walked around the Confederacy, having interacted with plenty of them at one point or another. But this face, it was unfamiliar to her. She wished she could have Madalena's actual memories and not just her retelling of things to check if Madalena had known her at all.

Glancing at the woman that was with her, [member="Amelia von Sorenn"], Scherezade had to admit she did not recognize her either. But she recognized what was in that wine glass, even from this distance. Blood.

If nothing else, perhaps this was a good omen. As she smiled and made way towards the two, Scherezade hoped they had not known or ever interacted with Madalena. It could give her a better grip on what she could expect when she had to revert to being entirely herself again.

"Tall glass of cream with ice cubes, please," she nodded to the bartender before she turned to the two other ladies. "Hello!" she greeted them, stumped on whether she was supposed to say her name right now or need to let the others do it first.

Madalena would have known.

It was dumb. Inhaling, Scherezade resumed, "Madalena," she introduced herself, the name sounding so strange on her lips even after the happenings of the past few weeks. But okay. Now the rest was up to them.

Little wolves do not deserve nights off.

Alvida stood at the edge of the room, glancing across the nine tables that had been set up for whatever this ticket was for. Twisting the slim slip of paper around in her fingers she could hear the voices questioning curiously. What was she doing here? Why did she buy that ticket? What was written in the strange foriegn language Alvida had never learnt to read? Shrugging to herself, she glanced down at the slip and looked for anything she could compare to the squiggly lines displayed on the tables. Finally, she found one that looked rather like two snakes touching end to end. It matched up with a table where a woman was sitting, feet placed up on the wood. Alvida smiled, she already liked her.

The thin dress of home-spun material flapped about her legs as she picked her way through the crowd to her appointed seat. Once there Alvida flopped down into the seat with little to no ceremony. The first thing she did was draw a deep breath of the air surrounding the woman. It was hard to pick out specfic scents in such a big crowd, but when she was close enough she could easily tell which she was. 'Hae.' Her thick accent was immediately apparent, though it didn't seem to hinder her basic in the slightest. 'I am Alvida. We have been put together for this festival?' Alvida reached across the table with one milk white hand, offering it out to the woman in greeting. It seemed to be a thing people did around here. Why not blend in with the crowd, just for one night?

It got worse.

Adelle cringed at the massive property damage being done to this once luxurious venue. Her spine went rigid when a dreadnaught sat down in front of her. Adelle's head snapped up to the optics of the massive droid in front of her. It was more than twice her height. Had to be. The behemoth was similar to a battle droid in looks if not in size. A black bowtie sat delicately above the red light on its chest, comical in its size compared to the body that wore it.

"Greetings-..I am..Kaz."

"I'm—" Shouts echoed in the space and concerned partygoers started shrieking. Adelle winced as the fight continued to get out of hand. Expensive tiles cracked, foundations chipped and splintering, a whole wall with a hole in it.

"Adelle!" She had to practically yell to hear herself over the din being made. The venue's security started to try and break up the fight with little success. Adelle slumped back in her seat. So much for this being a relaxing trip. She flagged down a serving droid—who, understandably, seemed quite perturbed by the brawl—and ordered a glass of Whyren's Reserve. If she couldn't find a partner, she was going to—

There were more shouts from outside and a solid thump.

Yeah, she was definitely going to drink.

Gerwald was late, massively so, by the time he arrived. Feeling bad about being late for the event, he stopped to grab flowers for whoever the unlucky person was that had to wait for him. He hated dressing up for these things, and after trying on a few suits, Ger opted against one. He was simply going to be himself. There was no one he was looking to impress anyway. Katrine wouldn’t be opposed to some harmless flirting for the sake of whatever thing his credits were going to.

He sighed as he looked at his ticket and found someone waiting at the table. Ger smiled as he sat at least grateful he was not the only one who decided to not dress as fancy as everyone else.

”Sorry I’m late. Couldn’t decide what suit to wear, so I went with nothing,” he said as he handed the woman the flowers he had brought with him. ”I’m Gerwald Lechner, and I’ve never done anything like this before.”

Ger had no problem breaking the ice. He looked at the water as he sat down, and poured himself a glass.

”Would you like some.”

Had the young woman been speaking with someone else, they might have had trouble hearing her through the screaming of some war shout and the noise of furniture being destroyed by the group of - at this moment all she could do was assume they were - barbarians that were destroying the otherwise lovely sitting area. She was lucky enough that her species acute senses ensured she didn't miss a single word spoken by her lovely companion; as she was more than capable of selectively hearing the words of others. With a soft smile and a nod, she followed the lead of her companion, rising from her seat and carefully fetching her own glass as she kept it in a firm grip.

"An excellent idea."

She spoke, though leaned in slightly so that her words would dance across the young woman's ear softly and not be drowned out. Slipping gracefully to the side, it was nearly eerie in how she moved so fluidly as she took the lead of moving towards the bar. Hopefully it would be a bit more quiet and intimate than the setting they were leaving, a thought that was quickly greeted by a more tantalizing idea of sharing her companion with another.

"I would have no problem with Ms. Madalena joining us at the bar, after all, she does seem to want to get as far away from that loud brawl as we do."

Bringing the glass back to her lips, she offered a small smile that pulled into a smirk, once more a hint of her fang revealing as she imbibed the sanguine liquid that the crystalline glass held. Offering her free hand, she motioned for the two woman towards the bar before she stepped pass the threshold, nodding to the bartender as her golden hues slowly moved over the empty area. While the fighting could still be heard, it was still somewhat muffled; and hopefully it wouldn't spill over into this more quiet place.

"Perhaps a booth in the corner? It may offer us a bit more privacy to speak and be heard by one another."
