What if Mikhail had never been forced to join the Republic Army?

What if Senators had never sanctioned anti-pirate operations with an overstretched military?

What if Captain Mikhail had not witnessed the decimation of his company?

What if he had not accidentally killed his superior officer by throwing him out a window?
