- Fast: The AT-SW is quite fast moving and nimble, allowing it to cover large distances with ease
- Scout: The AT-SW excels in gathering data, making it well suited for scouting and reconnaissance missions
- Point Defense: Each AT-SW comes equipped with two point defense laser cannons, allowing the vehicle to shoot down incoming ordinance
- Weak: The AT-SW is effectively unable to damage more heavily armored vehicles
- Fragile: The AT-SW is not designed to absorb damage, and is easily destroyed
A rather simple but effective scouting walker, the AT-SW is designed with two distinct purposes. Firstly, the AT-SW is well suited for conducting reconnaissance, coming equipped with a variety of scanners and communication equipment that allows the walker to gather date quite easily and efficiently.
The AT-SW is also a rather fast moving and nimble walker, allowing it to easily keep pace with most other vehicles and infantry, and to outrun what it cannot combat. This makes it especially useful for its second role: intercepting incoming missiles and munitions with its two point defense laser cannons.
Consequently, the AT-SW is ill suited for front line combat, being unable to deal with anything heavier than light vehicles, and is itself quite fragile and susceptible to incoming attacks. AT-SWs are best used as dedicated scouting units or interspersed between heavier armor to destroy missiles and artillery shells.
