Rygel Larraq stood in his office and stared out the viewscreen upon the sands of Sundari's rolling desert. Weather reports claimed that the temperature outside the domed city of Sundari would reach greater than 130F. Even inside the confines of Larraq's air conditioned office, a bead of sweat ran down the back of his neck.
It was too frelling hot.
Sighing, Larraq sipped from the iced martini that adorned his desk and wished he could simply drop an iceberg on the desert. A moment later, Larraq froze as he realized that he COULD drop an iceberg on the desert. Snapping his head around, Larraq looked back out the window at the rolling sands of Sundari and he had what seemed like a brilliant idea.
Mandal Hypernautics would throw a pool party. In the middle of the desert.
Rygel Larraq feverishly began typing commands onto his datapad. One of Hyperion Mining's Concordance-class Mining Barges was still in system. It would only take a few days for it to locate a suitable ice-asteroid from the outer reaches of the solar system and drag it back to Mandalore. And simply lowering the chunk of ice onto the planet would be infinitely simpler than pulling a chunk of land from a planet.
More importantly, this could serve as a perfect opportunity to display the wealth and capabilities of Mandal Hypernautics. Invitations would have to be sent out. Party favors would have to be prepared. There would be so much to do over the next few days!
Continuing to type on his datapad, Rygel Larraq prepared his company to throw the party of the century.
