The Arch Wilder
Vulpesen groaned as he laid down in the cargo hold, along with all the others that had filled with him on Coruscant. Above him, a medi was scanning him to find what was causing the sudden sickness that raged throughout his body. "Yep. Acute radiation poisoning. You'll live, but the next month won't be very pleasant, sir."
"Wonderful. Well, at least it ain't killed me yet." Now armed with the knowledge of what had been affecting him, Vulpesen lifted a hand to his chest and drew on the force. Slowly at first, a green light started to rise from his chest and into his palm, empowering him as he started to stand up. Radiation was energy... energy was something he knew how to deal with. "How's everyone doing? First time having a building fall on your heads?" Glancing around the hold of the Vixen, he saw all those that his men had saved. Most of them were younglings, and a few jedi knights that had taken the opportunity to escape when they could. And of course, there were those his boys had fought with inside the archives.
Since that fight, it had been a few hours, and the injured within the ship had since been stabilized. Mereel and Ferrole would need to get proper medical attention as soon as possible, but at least now they weren't at the edge of their lives. Up ahead, Vulpesen could hear the beep of the nav computer, just as his ship dropped out of hyperspace with a small lurch. "Feth... finally."
