DESCRIPTION

The fifth major expansion set released by Galactic Illusionary Gaming for its card game Age of Chaos, Clans of the Resol'nare serves as a commemoration of the various Mandalorian factions that have appeared within the galaxy during the modern era. Consisting of 284 cards, an active choice made by the company's design team to avoid burnout after the massive 600+ card set released in the Great Struggle, Clans of the Resol'nare pulls from the United Clans of Mandalore, the Mandalorian Empire, the Mandalorian Enclave, and a touch of the Mandalorian Protectors as the set was nearing completion as that faction reclaimed the Mandalorian sector.

Continuing the trend from the Great Struggle, a new card type was introduced called Mandate cards. These new cards, played only on your turn unless specified in the future, remain on the field when played and provide a constant effect that can empower your field or hinder your opponents unlike Action or Command cards. The company also took the opportunity to revise some older mechanics and keywords, while introducing some new ones, that were not revamped during the Great Struggle.
