A Heated Introduction (Part I)

The shuttle hit the snow hard, ramming it aside, digging a trench through it, melting it and throwing it upwards as it shook and rumbled, sizzled as it slowed down and came to a stop.
The doors to the shuttle shot opened with emergency release and from its bowls came crawling the figure of Captain Sammo, clad in the winter survival suit, he quickly rose what looked like a little pistol up into the air, pulling the trigger he shot out a red flare. The ball of fire disappeared between the clouds and blankets of raging snow. Hopefully, the rescue would be soon on its way.
"Everybody alright?!"
He called back into the shuttle for others, another armored figured followed behind, the armored stranger, he was coughing as he straggled out of the shuttle's bowls
"Yeah, I'm fine."

Sammo raised his hands outwards in triumph cheering
"We survived!"
The ship quieted down as its systems powered off and doors to the cockpit shot open as well, the pilot staggering out from it, taking deep breaths

Arthur glanced back around the wide trunk before tearing himself from the protection and cover that it provided him, a grin coming to his face as he stared at the ship. His feet moved through the two foot high snow which at this point had been disturbed so much that the area around the ship had blown away most of the snow on the ground near it. His hand returned the blade to its sheath while he stopped and crossed his hands behind his back while he spoke up and let his voice sound over any wind that howled over the area. "Hello, it seems that your return was an attempt to flatten me and my new acquaintance. How kind of you i might add." His grin remained as he looked at the captains companions as they slowly appeared to him. @[member="stardust"] @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"] @[member="Darth Naefas"] @[member="Cab Khan "]@[member="Lilythe"] @[member="Zarran"]

Malik's mind echoed with the voice of his Master calling him back to his side, which was appreciated because the women he was tracking had disappeared from view, but not from his senses. Without a second thought the Sith Apprentice re-cast a force speed over his body before leaping into the air and landing the same protruding rock as before around five meters from his masters side, his Bloodcrimson Lightsabers still prosed at his sides which were the only thing visible to his master, Arthur and the new arrivals through the thick smoke and snow. "I am here, my master. What has happened?".

Walking the Path to Redemption
Lilythe wandered down the tunnels. She would wait at one of the entrances close to where she had last seen Arthur. If he didn't show up, she had no idea what she would do. She pressed her hand against her side gently. The wound had healed a while ago, and it no longer pained her, but it was hard to imagine that she had come so close to being crippled. She reached the other entrance and sat down, leaning her back against the wall. She pulled an arrow from her quiver and played with it absentmindedly. She had a spare bow back at her cabin, but she didn't think it was safe to retrieve it yet. She hated not having the weapon. She was decent enough with a sword, but ranged weapons were her area of expertise and she felt weak without the presence of her longbow.

"Alright, great, let's secure those supplies and send out an emergency signal."
Sammo would look up at the covers of snow and clouds above
"Although I'm not sure how well they will receive in this weather."
The pilot nodded, climbing back into the cockpit to send a transmission on Spirit's emergency frequency.

Sammo smiled to Arthur from beneath his helmet as he came closer
"Lord Hardrada, how well to see you haven't gotten a frostbite yet."
He would look to his shuttle then
"Eh, yeah, well you can't always have soft landings in life, sometimes life just throws curve balls at you like that. Either way, we've returned as we promised, we brought with each other a supply of medical bacta, perhaps your people will be able to make use of it or see if they can make more by themselves."
He would look back to Arthur
"And what new acquaintances?"
Now noticing a red lightsaber blade in the background his smile disappeared as he grew solemn
"What new acquaintances?"
He repeated

He wasn't afraid, he faced Sith before, he was more angry or disappointed that they already find their way to newly discovered planet. He knew that where the Sith were fights and war would soon follow, they were harbingers of unnecessary violence.

While the pilot was still fidgeting with the communication consoles, trying to get them up on emergency power, Sammo turned towards the cockpit, calling out
"Pilot, Cab! How is the emergency broadcast coming along?"

Arthur sighed and shrugged, both a confused and slightly worried look upon his face as he walked over to @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"] and grew much quieter. "Well, thats the catch, its the hostile kind of acquaintance, and judging by your shift in your expression you recognize these people? The only title i was able to understand as some for of Identification was something called a Sith. Supposedly ones the god of these sith and the other is his champion... They also know how to use what you called the force tremendously, far more skilled than most on this planet in the arts of the gods and i made a deal to save my friend's skin but i cannot disclose the contents of said deal." He glanced over his shoulder, noting the red glow and sighing, hoping the glow was that of the 'champion' and not of the so called 'god'.

Sammo nodded to Arthur, quieting down slightly so the conversation can remain just between the two of them
"The Force can be a great ally and champion, yes, I know of its ways and I can teach you later, as to the Sith?"
He glanced past Arthur's shoulder again
"They are no gods, in their nature they are tricksters, manipulators, and traitors. You see the basis of Sith society is that only the strongest have the right to rule, either by pure brute power, cunning manipulations, or by both. It is common for an apprentice to stab his master in the back to take his place."
He folded his arms at his waist
"They may seem to wield great power, but they are not the only ones, nor are they most powerful out there. The Sith Kingdom was destroyed recently and they were forced to scatter in fear, they fought war against Jedi, warriors of justice and guardians of peace who wield the Force as well, and against Mandalorians, kingdom of warriors clad in the finest of armors, who live only for combat and find greatest honor in rage of battle and challenging opponents."
He would reach to adjust his helmet
"The Sith on your planet must be stragglers from their fallen kingdom, looking to dominate a new planet and claim it as their new home. I have seen them defeated over and over again in their arrogance."

Arthur thought on this, this man had told him more about the rest of the universe in two short moments, not to mention the information he had divulged in his visit two days back, than the Sith ever had. He had suspected such and now he was right, these two would only hurt his people, but he would have to tread carefully. There was no doubt if the more powerful sith wanted to kill him he would, and then that would be it and the gods would claim him from this world for judgement. "Well i will have to be careful then, wont i, dont want to lose my head to them so early in my life no? As for these Jedi and Mandalorian, especially the latter, they intrigue me and i will have to look into meeting such people if i ever get off this rock." He began to turn to walk back to the sith to make sure Lilythe was ok before stopping and looking over his shoulder. "These sith, you wont attempt to do anything that would cause them to act... in a volitile manner will you?" @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"]

"Jedi and Mandalorians are only a portion of everything that goes on, I'll have to tell you one day about Barony of Abregado-Rae, it's a planet governed by a machine knight."
His sight would follow Arthur as he started to walk back and when he asked about fighting the Sith, he looked to his shuttle
"As much as I would like to run them off, this is not my planet to pull into combat. I will not start anything, but should you need help in protecting your home let me know."
He looked back to Arthur
"But remember, wherever Sith go, war and suffering follows, they are harbingers of it."

With aid of the force, the men's conversation was easily heard by Malik. He grit his teeth as the spoke, the insults burned deep in his chest where a great anger was brewing. He turned toward where @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"]'s ship had sunken into the snow, and with a great roar he raised his right hand out towards it, his Lightsaber still present within his grasp, he allowed the force to flow over the bow of the ship and wrap itself around the communications array wherever it was positioned upon his ship before tightening his grip over the Lightsaber which thus caused the array to crumple and snap before it spat and sparked into disarray and disrepair. He lowered his arm and began to approach the men who conversed so naively, holding both of his Lightsabers in reversed grip before stopping short of the pair "Think very carefully about what words leave your lips, Wanderer. For I promise If I do not like them they will be your last."

"Then i should just point them at my family, if anyone deserved such to someone, its them." He saw the 'champion' walk on before Arthur could tell Lilythe was not with him, which both worried and relieved him due to the two very possible outcomes of what had happened and if the man had truly returned because he was ordered to and not because he had finished the hunt and done as had originally been commanded. "Where is my companion and did you harm her?" He stood tall, he would not look like a coward now like he had a moment ago, it would not serve him to look like a coward broken in fear infront of the sith and the new arrivals. @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"] @[member="Zarran"] @[member="Darth Naefas"]

Actually, Zarran didn't destroy the communications array.
The shuttle may have been old but its armor was sturdy and strong, after all, they just survived crash-landing from the orbit. Besides, he may have heard them, but he didn't exactly see them, after all to them only his lightsaber was visible. Therefore, he wouldn't be able to get a good grip on the shuttle, after all he was only an apprentice and eye-contact was required for most Force-users to use telekinesis correctly.
However, he did damage the communications array slightly, some sparks flew but it held. Unknowingly to him, Zarran actually activated emergency system of the shuttle, sending an encrypted ping to the Young in Spirit that the shuttle was under attack.

Aboard the Frigate
A console would start to beep, detecting the simple signal without any other messages that would follow as the shuttle's crew were still busy with trying to get a transmission out.
Second-in-Command would look to the console and then hurry to the microphone that provided input for ship's intercom systems.
@[member="Declan Starr"]
"To all hands, we have received signal that the shuttle we have sent onto the surface of the planet is under attack, we have still not received any other transmissions, no other status is so far confirmed. Evacuation teams and escort, scramble in the hangars to investigate the shuttle's situation."
The electronic drawl of the droid would echo through the ship as spacers and crew rushed to the hangar to board the random fighters and tramp freighters the Spirit carried in its bowls.

Sammo only smirked, looking in Zarran's direction,
"How old are you, Champion? And what is your name? After all if you promise to end my life today I may as well have courtesy of knowing your name!"
He called out

Darh Naeefas strode forwards slowly, his Apprentice had made things worse. This was why he was a Apprentice, and that was why Apprentices were not privileged to speak while in the presence of their Master. "Apprentice, keep your mouth shut. Do not open it again unless you wish for a larger hole in your face." He said as he came up along side his apprentice and a moment later in front of him. His yellow gaze found Arthur, the man he had been conversing with, possibly even bringing to his side, and then at the man who had interrupted all of that. He was loathing that man, he had disrupted everything for him. But he wouldn't let it show, and even if he did, it was under check. A focused rage.

"Do not fret with the boy's words." He said, with an unconcerned wave of his hand. He let his hands hang at his sides, the black sleeves still concealing the durasteel armour underneath and he looked to all three of them with a lazy look. "Who are you?"

Why was the gravity upside down? Cab shook her head, trying to clear out the fog. That was why. Her console was up on a wall rather than on a floor now. Pain shot through her, and she spasmed. Felt like two cracked ribs and who knows how many other things. She unclasped the harness and slumped to the floor. Emergency broadcast? Right. Focus on that. Teeth gritted, she pushed the pain away and hauled herself up to the console, where she ran her hands across the controls, feeling for what was still in one piece. Sparks flashed, and she ducked away, biting back curses as they scorched her face. Send the transmission. She pounded it and checked the transmitter again. "Work, blast you!"

Declan Starr fumbled awake from his all night binge as his intercom echoed the 2ICs plight. He flopped his feet over the side of his bunk with in the confines of his very own and ancient YT-2400 (In the hangar of the Young in Spirit). The ship has been his home for most of his life, Starr being a spacer born from Adumar made him a talented Pilot.... And talented pilots always had job, legal or not.

Standing was a task in a half, had the overwhelming and familiar feeling to regurgitate the contents of his stomach, to evac the unnecessarily and harmful liquids he had ingested last night.

Pressing the intercom “I Got this....... I mean... Me... Declan Starr..... Fly down and get it done sir..... All be good, over and out!”

The Drunkard then took three steps back plopping his rear back upon his bunk, his eyes glazing over the half empty glass perched upon his nightstand. With out hesitation he skulled it, the taste of corellian spiced ale igniting his soul and bring the Adumarian back to life. “Breakfast of champions!”

Once settled into the cockpit Starr started up the pre flight check and ignition. All status checks came back green, ignition was beautiful..... As usual. The roar of “Princess”, the name that the YT-2400 always had since he could remember, made Starr grin with pleasure. It was hard work to keep the old ship a float but it was work that Starr took pride in for it was just a chore it was life and death and a task he added love to.

“Young in Spirit this is The Princess, do we have clearance to take off?”

“Princess you are green to go..... Watch your six seems the Cap got himself into some heat down there sides from just crashing. Be on combat alert” Replied the 2IC

“Of coursed they crashed, either the captain was flying or one of the other boneheads were. And I, if i was a local, be extremely ticked and violent if he had parked it in my backyard” Declan snarked back at the Captain’s expense.

“Not the case Declan, they were attacked!..... So watch yourself, you be flying into trouble”

“Say it!!!”

“No!”

“I aint taking off tell you say it”

“ughhh!”

“SAY IT!”

“flying through.......”

“THE DANGER ZONE!!!!!” The arrogant pilot roared into the comms before thrusting his sublight drives and zipping out of the hangar. The ‘Princess’ then made quick towards the planet, angling itself as Starr prepped proper for re entry. If not done right they would burn up into the Atmosphere and all that joking around and hard times he had given to....everyone, he would die the laughing stalk, the Adumarian Ace that botched it in ATMO.

Sammo glanced to his own crew as they were hurrying securing the shuttle and its supplies, Cab and the pilot working on the now damaged communications array to send out further signal to the Young in Spirit
Sammo smirked hearing Cab's muffled swearing
"Need a spanner or fusion cutter there, Cab?!"
He called over to the girl, looking back as Naefas approached them then
"Your apprentice wasn't that far off actually, young as he may be, I'm a wanderer, they call me Captain Sammo."
He nodded to Naefas, folding his arms at his chest. Whatever ammo or equipment he had was unseen to Naefas as well, hidden in pockets and flaps of his survival suit.
"I've charted this planet few cycles ago and established first contact, updated them on the current state of the Galaxy and Lord Arthur gave me a nice tour of local settlements, quite nice people actually, shame they'll be pulled into all the mess going on out there so soon."
He looked up at the skies slightly
"I figured I'll pay them some visits before the Republic convoys get here and spoil the planet, they're rather interested in pulling previously uncharted planets into their influences and pay well for information about them."
He looked back to Naefas,
"And as it happens I'm just coming back from Coruscant, shouldn't be much longer now before they'll be around, I heard some Jedi fellow Dragonsflame took special interested in the planet's description."
Sammo smirked slightly glancing behind Naefas shoulder at Arthur
"And from what I heard, meeting with you two wasn't as friendly as the one with me, pity."

@[member="Declan Starr"]
It was then that they heard roar of engines cutting through the clouds, Sammo knew that sound, he smirked once more and without skipping a beat he cocked the flare gun once more, raising it away from the trees, he would pull the trigger quickly, wasting no time in case one of the Sith would try to stop him. Soon enough, another flare would disappear between the clouds, leaving a trail towards the crashed shuttle, it would help Declan find the Spirit's crew if he wouldn't be able to find them already through snow and clouds.
"Seems our ride is here!"
He would call back to his crew, turning slightly, the armored stranger who was with them nodded simply, making sure the crates he was taking care of were secured to the ground
"Yessir."
He answered

In Rekhan, Capital of Iferetes
POV Menealous Hardrada
Infereti War Room 9:36 PM CTZ (Capital Time Zone)

Menealous listened intently as the news of not one but three ships erupting out of nowhere, then proceeding to orbit the planet or land was unsettling, such ships were not Infereti make and the fact that two had come into the atmosphere already, a third on its way and a fourth, the largest heading in a rapid decent meant that someone was building ships without Royal permission and testing them. What worried him more was two ships came from a larger one still in orbit around the planet and his officers were baffled at how they appeared our of virtually no where. Something was very very wrong and it was time that such a problem was rectified. He would not be able to stop the ship already in the atmosphere, but the largest one that was heading for the planet now, that was something he would deal with.

Rising he spoke in a cruel and harsh tone that was almost common place to anyone or anything that stood before him, he had things to do and weapons to test... that was it. "Calm yourselves, this is some two bit criminal breaking our laws and defying your king, send a detachment of Valkyrie fighters and a Cinthadon Cruiser, and deal with the ship before it tries to land. Also dispatch Hadrin and his Eclipse Squadron to find out who has landed and defied their king." Without a word they did as was commanded and went to work sending out his orders, and then take those who could or did not fight as slaves, and kill those that did fight back.

On the Wanderer
POV Captain Ciro
Cockpit of Shuttle Skyfire. 10:30 CTZ

Ciro's crew had entered the two shuttles and now it was time to touch off from the hanger bay nd leave the ship to face its fate. His shuttle rose and left its hanger with that of its sister ship in tow behind it, it would be a smooth flight for them while instead their ship went down with its passengers, he had enough money to buy a new ship so their loss would not be something to fret over. Until suddenly two blips came onto the radar, and before anyone could react two fighters passed and half a second later four missiles impact each on the shuttles, the first two blows may have been absorbed, but the second two tore the ship's engines apart and sent then speeding to the ground, Ciro's shuttle, the one that @[member="Shakrin"] had entered would crash in the forest off 200 meters from @[member="Darth Naefas"], @[member="Zarran"], @[member="stardust"], @[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"], and @Cab khan.

The second shuttle was not so lucky as a missile had found its way right into the cockpit of the other shuttle resulting in an instant internal explosion and death of all the crew members on the ship. Its flaming carcass, or what ever could be called such plummeted into the ground and acted like subsonic sharpenel that came down in the middle of the forest near @[member="Lilythe"] though due to her being in a cave she would be fine.

The Main ship was no more lucky, those two fighters were joined by at least half a dozen more firing four missiles each that impacted and blew into the shield depleted ship as it broke the atmospheric barrier. @[member="Eldoc Quasat"] would be treated to a seemingly never ending barrage but that was only the start as things were made worse by the Cinthadon Cruiser as it arrived and its main gun fired along with two Air to Air large ship missiles, Hydra Missiles as they were called, fired off. Its Main gun was what the outside galaxy would refer to as a Mass Driver Cannon, to the Infereti it was a massive, 100 meter long Railgun that used electro magnetic forces to fire a solid depleted Baradium rod that would impact and act like an giant incendiary round against the ship. The Hydra missiles fired off and sped at the ship, splitting off into five separate missiles each before impacting and causing mass destruction. This entire ending with the ship impacting nearly three hundred meters north of those on the ground.

On Iferetes
POV Arthur
10:32 CTZ

"Dragonsflame is certainly a weird name, did his family have a history with such creatures?" Arthur looked at Sammo as he said such, trying to figure out who this Dragonsflame man was that Sammo had mentioned and prompted a following question as he did. "And did he come with you, if so how come he did not come to the surface as we-"

And with that the world went to hell. First the two men were having a quiet conversation while Arthur looked on silently and waited for Sammo's new ship to arrive to help him out, oh how he should have expected it to not be so easy as that and for so many visitors to go unnoticed. First came the sound of Fighters over head and then the crash of another unknown shuttle 200 hundred meters south, causing a bellow of smoke and fire to spread if left unstopped, then came the rain of shrapnel which while it may not have harmed any of them sparked several more fires and likely harmed innocents. OH and to top that great hell that things were becoming, a giant 600 meter ship came slamming down into the planet three hundred meters north of them. How many fething people did these guys bring with them. "More friends of yours Sammo?" He stared at the man as the many new stimuli decided to show itself, looks like he had a larger problem too. These last ships had been shot down, which means soldiers would be inbound fast.
