  • Unit Name: 267th "Ragnarök" Ultranaut Regiment | The Empress' Gloom
  • Affiliation: Ingrid L’lerim-Vandiir | Tubrok Ragal | Eina L'lerim-Vandiir | Eternal Empire | Terraris Command
  • Classification: Heavy Infantry, Shock Troopers, Commandos, Special Forces (mostly back ops), Strategists
  • Description: They wear the most modern Eternal Imperial armor, but on the armband they do not wear the traditional coat of arms, but the coat of arms with the sign of the Empress. This shows that they are personally serving the Empress. The regiment is an elite group; there are not only Ultranauts here, but there are also individuals from the Wardens of the Shroud, Wolfguards, Psi Corps, Blackwatch Death Squads and so on. Although Ingrid doesn’t like fanatics and personal cults, every member of the regiment is faithful to the Empress to the death. Exactly even beyond the grave and they do everything for her, the woman asks for anything from them.

The teams from Project Disir and Project Einherjar, along with other groups, were merged here. This means that nearly half, or more than half, of the Ragnarök regiment consists of undead army. This part is a tireless group who have retained their intelligence, their fighting skills, only become even more fiercer than they used to be. The entire corps, if necessary, would also exterminate planets, killing all civilians and even the children. Maybe that’s why it’s good they are controlled by someone like that who wouldn’t and that is the Empress.

The regiment is specialized in different areas due to the different groups. Only volunteers are included in the group who undertake to receive a signal into their souls in the Force that with that the necromancers or Ingrid will bring them back after their death and continue to serve the Eternal Empire. In addition, the best are placed in the regiment, their appearance is frightening, especially their aura, their radiance that surrounds them.

Their behaviour is otherwise similar to the standard military behaviour expected in the Eternal Empire, cold, rigid, distant, and obedient to commands. With these they can set an example to other citizens of the Empire. Well, like the Empress, they are even more disciplined, colder, and stiffer than traditional soldiers.

      • 5x Wardens of the Shroud | 5 Lord Commander
      • 200x Project Disir Members | 200 Officers and ex-Wardens
  • Headquarters:
  • Combat Function: Ultranauts serve as the mainline heavy infantry of the Eternal Army and are deployed on the front lines, ahead of lighter infantry. Preferring to engage in combat from prepared fighting positions such as trenches and dugouts, Ultranauts are known for their brutality, strict discipline and efficiency as a combat unit and will seek to accomplish the mission at any cost, regardless of the odds and will carry out the orders they are given, no matter how atrocious, often killing civilians without batting an eyelash, if it is deemed as the most efficient way of fulfilling their objectives on the battlefield. Luckily, under Ingrid’s control, they can't do that because the woman won’t let them.

It is a complete mini army who are the best in the Eternal Empire. Because they are made up of many different groups, they are able to perform a myriad of tasks, depending on their job and specialization. Although most of the army is made up of heavy infantry, there are also Shock Troopers, Commandos, Special Forces (mostly black ops) and Strategists. From interrogation, reconnaissance, strike missions to heavy warfare, but even assassinations, this regiment can be deployed in all areas and terrains.

Their main purpose is to carry out the Empress's command and will. Everyone is trained separately above their formerly training after joining the regiment, so the regiment can work together perfectly, even if the different battalions are dismantled and regrouped. That is why they are considered an elite force, in addition to their experience and training.

They are usually used and deployed only as a last resort, or in the biggest battles, or when traditional Ultranaut regiments are not enough. Anytime, anywhere they appear, they are above the other regiments because they are only accountable to the Empress. Thus, they qualify as reinforcements/support, and wherever they appear they have the right to take command, for this instruction is only came from the Empress or the Overlord (Tubrok Ragal, second-in-command).

  • Elite Army: All members of the regiment are very highly trained, they try to select the best of the candidates, and those who are not among the best are trained until they reach the elite level. Thus, each member has outstanding abilities.
  • Loyalty: All members of the regiment are loyal to the Empress until death (and beyond), their loyalty is unquestionable.
  • Death is a Joke: For them, death is not the end. Each member volunteers and allowed to Ingrid or the Necromancer Wardens put their souls back in their bodies after their death to continue serving. Thus, until their bodies are completely destroyed, their souls can be put back into the body, so they continue to fight even after death.
  • Any Task: There are many different team members in the regiment, so by sending the appropriate members, the regiment is able to perform many different tasks.
  • Disturbance: They also gained a special ability when they returned to life (in the Netherworld), as they cause disturbance in the Force, making it harder to use Force near them. The more people there are, the bigger and stronger this disturbance. (Project Einherjar and Disír only)
  • Tireless and Insensitive: Because they are undead, they are tireless. The members of the project were able to slaughter even civilians in their lifetime without emotion, if necessary. They don’t have as much empathy in them now as they used to. Although they can think and act independently as in their lives, their conscience has completely disappeared from them. They are perfect, able to think, well-trained military war machines. (Project Einherjar and Disír only)
  • More Resistant: Their equipment is the same as in their lives, except that they feel no pain and no need to take a breath. Because of this, they are not stopped by a fatal injury either unless the body is destroyed. Because of this, they may appear to be much more resistant to injury. (Project Einherjar and Disír only)

  • Not Stealthy: A significant part of the regiment is very striking due to its armour and equipments, the slightest chance of hiding is ruled out due to the vehicles and weapons they use.
  • Difficult to Replace: The members of Regiment are difficult to replace because so many members of the Eternal Empire are against the Force, which is why it is very difficult to find volunteers who undertake to mark their souls and later, after death, bring them back to life, to their dead bodies to continue fighting. That is why the size of the army is limited and it is very difficult to increase their number as well.
  • Empress' Control: To make them easier to control, be more loyal if necessary, almost every member is brainwashed and conditioned. If the Empress died for any reason, the Ragnarök regiment would turn into a raging killer army (at least part of the undead), but even the living would not be obedient to anyone else.
  • The Light Side: The members of Project Einherjar and Disír are creations of necromancy, which is why the Light Side effects affect their bodies and souls much more strongly. They are able to suffer much greater damage from such effects. (Project Einherjar and Disír only)
  • Madness: Although Ultranauts are conditioned and mentally strong (due to their brainwashing-like training), being undead is very stressful, especially in a rotten or skeletal-like body. This is why it can be common for returnees to go crazy sooner or later to their condition. (Project Einherjar and Disír only)
  • Instant Kill: It can be easily solved the members of the regiment cannot return after their death. If their physical bodies are completely destroyed, even though they souls are marked, they cannot return, there is nowhere to come back.
  • Unreachable Stars: The regiment is a ground formation, so they cannot be used for air battles or space battles, up to a maximum when the battle is aboard another ship. But apart from the dropships and their base, they have no spaceships or fleets.

The idea for the corps was formed by accident when Ingrid tried to bring her husband, Adrian Vandiir back to life and performed an experiment. This is when Project Einherjar and Dísír was created. Since these troops needed to be recruited anyway, it actually gave itself up to form a separate regiment in time. At first, of course, this was not a regiment, because the number was smaller. The regiment has reached this greatness over the years.

Since many in the Eternal Empire are against the Force, it is difficult to find individuals who would join because everything is completely voluntary. However, there are always fanatics who prefer to go after the subject of their fanaticism, thanks to which they also managed to increase the size of the group and eventually form a full regiment. Although the number of companies and battalions here is different from the traditional Ulranaut regiments, well the group is not traditional either.

Because of Project Einherjar and Dísír, the Ragnarök Regiment was a state secret for a very long time, but they had to be deployed against the Shadow Empire, so their existence became open secrets. From then on, they were given more and more tasks and now that the final war with Bryn'adûl was approaching, they were given a lead role.

Each candidate will receive additional training in addition to their own previous training to be even better than before, these extra trainings will usually take an additional year or two, and until completed, the applicant will not even qualify as a member of the regiment. Thus, the supply of the army is rather slow. However, due to the fact that whoever dies remains the member of the regiment as an undead, so does not have to replace the lost units so many times. Of course, the undead can also be completely destroyed, they are not immortal.

The regiment is surrounded by fear mixed with honour within the Eternal Empire, and are feared and dreaded from them in most places. Actually probably for a reason; for one of the reasons of their existence to break the morale of the enemy. After all, who aren’t afraid of an army that will hunt down the enemy even after their death?

”Break their will, as yours has been broken, they're here alone, (dream of home).”
