  • The 19th Assault Company is a newly formed assault company of the Stormtrooper Corps that was created upon FN-999's promotion to Captain. While almost all of FN-999's previous platoon was absorbed into the company, over two-thirds of its members have come from other, previously independent assault platoons. Yet despite being a new and relatively untested company, it has a reputation for attracting some of the most passionate and capable troopers in the Corps.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
Strengths:
  • Veterans - While the 19th Assault Company as a combined force is a fairly new unit, the platoons that were fused to create the 19th have an unusually high population of multi-campaign veterans, likely helped by the appeal of the senior officers in the company, many of whom had been FN-999's squadmates in his decades of service with the First Order. Consequently, the 19th is considered to be among the most capable assault companies in the New Imperial Order.
  • Assault - Compared to a line company, the 19th Assault Company is much more difficult to defeat in a head-on engagement. Trained to overwhelm large enemy forces with superior firepower and positioning, the 19th often has very little trouble leading a charge in the frontlines of a heated battle.
  • Braveheart - The 19th Assault Company's mental discipline is just as brutal and unyielding as their preferred combat style, with troopers very rarely showing fear even in the most dire of circumstances. A trooper of the 19th will often not lose their fighting spirit until they are physically incapable of moving or holding a weapon.
  • We've Seen Everything - Even among the experienced ranks of the 19th, the commanders of the company stand out for their dignified service. Handpicked by FN-999 himself, most of the 19th's command staff are also ex-First Order stormtroopers who fought in FN-999's squad for years by his side. As such, their experience on the battlefield and flexibility in combat is unrivaled by all but the oldest of the New Imperial Order's military units.
Weaknesses:
  • Slow As A Bantha - As an assault company, the 19th typically has to carry heavier handheld armaments than line companies. Without support from repulsorlift vehicles or APCs, the 19th and their support elements will typically travel at 6 km/h or slower.
  • New Roots - While many of the 19th's members are experienced veterans of war, the company itself is mere weeks old. Consequently, the company is still in a state of consolidation and training to ensure that it can survive as a permanent unit within the Stormtrooper Corps. Its members, while relatively friendly towards each other and capable of effective combat maneuvers, have yet to reach a personal understanding that allows for troopers to follow their commanders into battle based on devotion alone.
  • Split Loyalty - Within the 19th, there is a divide in devotion to the NIO between the senior and junior troopers of the company. While a majority of the 19th is loyal to a fault and unyielding in upholding the Order's will, FN-999 and many of his senior command troopers have a conflict of interests. While they are typically about as loyal to the New Imperial Order as the troopers under their command, they also have ties to the First Order and could potentially create a partial defection of the company if the First Order were to ever come into armed conflict with the New Imperials.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Upon FN-999's promotion to Captain, his veterancy granted him the special privilege of having an entirely new company created for him.

The stormtrooper decided to choose a company variant that best fit his style of combat, ultimately deciding to create an assault company. To handle the larger troop count of his new unit, he recruited many of the senior troopers from his platoon to return to senior positions within the company. They also acquired heavier armaments from the assault platoons the 19th absorbed, allowing FN-999 to sustain frontline combat in a manner that he had never been capable of before. With his new unit and greatly increased firepower, FN-999 would begin to establish his reputation as a commander capable of leading ever greater quantities of troopers.
