SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Enhanced Performance
  • Cybernetic Integration
  • Self-Injecting Bacta/Adrenal System
  • Self-Sealing

Strengths |
  • [ Improved Performance ] | The IL-99X is like a second skin suit for those who wear it, and through the use of numerous cybernetic ports that link the operator to the suit, is capable of vastly improving the basic actions of the wielder. It enhances reflexes by several factors and greatly improves physical strength and speed. A step towards creating a non-biologically enhanced super soldier.
  • [ Self Sustaining ] | The IL-99X is a fairly advanced system for a second skin suit, ensuring that the wearer will not expire rapidly before a trained medic can reach them. Its ability to self seal, as well as apply rapid first aid is designed to keep them alive for as long as possible.
Weaknesses |
  • [ Right to the Nerves ] | If the IL-99X sustains any external damage, there can be some cases where certain elemental attacks such as lightning can go from being a painful experience to lethal. Should the suit be breached near one of the cybernetic ports, this can translate into damage directly towards the operator's nervous system.

DESCRIPTION

Based off of Gen'dai physiology, the IL-99X was designed to visually recreate a mass of corded muscle, more or less to intimidate and put the enemy in a state of uneasiness. It features a number of delicate systems that work and coordinate with one another seamlessly to enhance and improve an operator's ability to function on the battlefield. Where some military bodies would choose to invest in lengthy and experimental bio-augmentation that targets a candidate's physiology, the engineers of the Sith Imperial Research and Development chose to pursue a more tried and tested method of cybernetically enhancing their candidates.

The IL-99X features a very thin yet potent kinetic gel layer that is capable of regulating the body's temperature to optimal levels of the environment in a sealed package that can withstand the vacuum of space or other hostile environments. In the event of a non-lethal breach, the suit is capable of resealing itself with self packing foam to keep the wearer safe from external hazards as well as bacta and adrenal injectors localized to all parts of the body below the neck. This minimizes the need for field medics should an operator become injured on the field as the suit more or less takes care of any trivial injuries while providing pain killers and adrenaline when needed.

However, the main focus of the IL-99X was its performance and how it would be able to measure up to biologically enhanced entities. At base, IL-99X operators react twice as fast as their base species with enough strength to easily overwhelm even the most athletic and capable of their race; this also extends to their speed. Its performance is based off of whoever wears it rather than by a uniform degree; the more capable the user, the better it performs. As it is experimental, its production is quite limited, but there are plans to make a more widely produced variant that shows similar performance boosts to the Sith Military, though for now it is reserved for testing only by the chosen elite.

Gotta say, I really dig that nanolaminate plating. Very neat.

That said, you're currently coming in at one rating over for this submission. I would suggest increasing the weight to Average or adding a weakness, but entirely up to you how you want to jiggle it.
