Luck was on her side. Elle Mors not being home until later that night was exactly what Sylvia needed, and she didn't even have to set up any kind of elaborate ruse. Instead, Elle had a photoshoot today. It was almost like the Force had been on her side for this. Sylvia was afforded all the time in the galaxy to prepare everything. After Elle left the apartment, believing a very tired Sylvia was sleeping in before departing on a three-day work trip, she instead quickly scrambled out of bed and tossed on the clothes she had left on the floor the night before. A quick second was spent brushing her hair and slipping into her sneakers, and a moment later she bolted out of the apartment, a shopping bag slung over her shoulder.

That three-day work trip was never real.

The entire morning was spent methodically going down a carefully thought out route of shops, picking up items along the way. From market stalls selling fresh imported produce, to a high-end clothing store, and more. Sylvia had been saving up her credits, and clearly no expenses were being spared.

The woman returned home around lunchtime, though taking a break was the last thing on her mind. Despite having acted nonchalant towards Elle about it before now, today was the anniversary of a very special day. It was special to Sylvia, at least. A new beginning.

An alarm went off on Sylvia's holo right as she lit a candle in the middle of the dinner table. Elle was going to be coming home any minute now. "Perfect timing."

When the blonde would enter the apartment, she would be met by a trail of rose petals on the floor. It would lead all the way towards the kitchen area, where Sylvia, wearing a suit, waited for her. Dinner by candlelight.

Perhaps it was incredibly cliche. Sylvia didn't care.
