The Order

The New Jedi Order has taken to the new galaxy with a new spin on what a Jedi should be. They are made up of those Jedi who sought to break away from the traditional passive Jedi who deliberate all day and instead pursue an active role in fighting injustice wherever it may rear its ugly head.

With only few Knights, and fewer Masters still, many of the NJO's members lack much of the formal training and experience that a traditional Jedi might embody. A trait that makes them one of the most diverse collections of lightstick wizards to greet the face of the galaxy. Though the image of the leather-jacket wearing Jedi Knight with a rebellious spirit and a knack for saving those in need is the one most associated with the Order, it represents only one facet of the larger body of Jedi.

Whether leather jackets or monk robes are your styles, the NJO has a place for both.

The Guardian

New Jedi Guardians often lean more into the role of a crusader than your average Jedi. Ever-vigilant in their eternal battle, Guardians primarily focus on the art of lightsaber combat, though some branch out to include all forms of martial arts into their repertoire. Many took up their blades vowing to eradicate darkness wherever it should spawn, while others swore to protect the meek. They've served on the frontlines throughout the Third Sith Imperial war, and now that the Second Great Hyperspace War has broken out, their blades continue to be seen leading the charge.

The Sentinel

Sentinels best represent the unconventional spirit of the New Jedi Order. With their unique blend of mysticism and technology, they are among the most adaptable and have a very versatile skill set that puts even the most experienced smugglers to shame. They are caught between the ideals of the Jedi and the harsh realities of the Galactic Underworld, Sentinels must walk a fine balance in their service to the galaxy.

The Consular

A Consular's focal point is the Force, which they devote their lives to studying. These keepers of knowledge protect the temple and its secrets, from within the library and beyond. They've been known to be the tipping point within negotiations between senate and planets, ensuring all receive a fair deal. Those who peg themselves as more adventurous often stray from the quiet of the library, far beyond the Alliance's borders, to search for lost knowledge in forgotten corners of the galaxy.

The Shadow

The Shadows of the New Jedi Order operate far from the public eye. Their unique skill sets involve stealth, secrecy, and extensive knowledge in combatting the Dark Side on and off the field of battle. Looking for any presence of Darkness within the core, their aim is to eliminate the threat of the Dark Side before it can take root. They often work with members of the Strategic Intelligence Agency, even going so far as to infiltrate hostile organizations in wartime.

The Seer

Cast from a wide range of backgrounds, these individuals were gifted with the ability to see and interpret the future through visions. They advise and guide their fellow Jedi, and involve themselves in matters that require their talents in the Force. They are caretakers in times of conflict, using melds and shields to keep all of one mind and body to protect the Jedi, and spiritual guides in times of peace.

The Rebel

Some of the Order's number have taken up the blade to free systems from the tyranny rising up within the systems of their former allies the New Imperial Order. These Jedi are officially not associated with the New Jedi Order, provided a baseline of plausible deniability, but no Jedi will bar them aid or entry into the temples or enclaves. For all intents and purposes, they're still part of the Order, but their fight is away from the usual front lines of the Galactic Alliance. They fight behind enemy lines, supporting the Rebels who fight for their freedom as the Iron Curtain descends around them.

The Watchman

Jedi Watchmen are the vigilant protectors of a specific planet or star system. Ever heedful of threats, a Watchman is dedicated to preserving peace and upholding justice. Their purpose is to guard their assigned world against all threats and root out injustices wherever it may be found. To that end, each Watchman has their own approach and methods of performing their role. While it can often be a lonely duty, occasionally Watchmen band together to vanquish larger threats.

What's Next?

The war with the Sith Empire has ended, the Jedi stand victorious as protectors of the galaxy, and the Alliance can enjoy a time of peace and prosperity as it has never known.

At least that's what the people would have loved, but Evil never sits idle.

The galaxy is a dark and dangerous place still. From the rampages of a dark Brotherhood in the Unknown Regions to the rise of terror in the space of the Iron Emperor, there is no time of rest for the Jedi of the New Order. The fight for the Light and for Good is never over, and there is certainly no shortage of battles to choose from.

Rise of the New Sith

The Unknown Regions have fallen prey to a threat deeply steeped in the Dark Side. The Brotherhood of the Maw rampages on after their horrific victory at Csilla, which left the world shattered and destroyed. In these times, the Galaxy looks to the Alliance for hope, and the Jedi stand as their symbol.

However, the dangers the New Jedi Order need to face aren't limited to the battlefield. An inevitable conflict with the senate finally reached its climax—putting the Jedi in a vulnerable position just as the Galactic Alliance's borders are threatened. Corruption and a deadly threat from within place the Jedi at the heart of the Maw's most audacious strike yet, the Attack on Coruscant, an attack the New Jedi Order barely survives.

At their greatest time of peril, the Jedi's resolve is tested further. As the New Imperial Order callously abandons their allies in the fight against the Brotherhood, a fractured Jedi Order must come together to face up to the threat of the New Sith, or fall in the path of absolute evil.

Rebel Yell

The New Imperial Order, a bastion of strength against The Sith Empire, has abandoned their former allies at the height of the Second Great Hyperspace War. Turning their backs on the governments that helped them establish their government, they have begun to descend into the perils of a despotic regime.

All pretense that the New Imperials stand for the Light continues to erode as they have begun killing anyone who might stand against the reign of their Iron Emperor, including their own. This suppression of any opposition by their new Emperor marked the beginning of the Imperial's descent into darkness.

Now it is up to the last bulwark against tyranny and evil, the Galactic Alliance, and their sword, the Jedi, to take a stand and save the people whose innocent lives would be crushed under the heel of this new Iron Reign of Terror.
