Description[background=rgb(30,30,30)]: The original Languor was the third craft ever designed by RRDI. While originally developed to be a space superiority fighter for the elite branches of the Mnenchei Dominion Royal Navy, a need for mass produces fighters coupled with its simple but effective layout and cutting-edge form made it a must-have for the entire royal military. Immediately, RRDI prioritized the orders and focused virtually all of their assets on quickly and effectively producing these fighters. They were also made for sale to minor factions and other company-approved organizations, though external sales were limited to small orders. After the success of the first-generation Languors, modernized models that met current military standards were produced, and the former were stripped, decommissioned and placed into civilian sector retail. Two-point-five-generation Languor Elite Starfighters were produced shortly after the cancellation of Chairwoman Saera Savan's Star Scythe Project, capitalizing on the ability to make further-advanced fighters for the CIS' elite military. Unlike the standard Languor which is blood red over matte black, the entire Elite Languor has a glossy charcoal sheen which is an expensive coat of microscopic helix crystallines designed to refract tracking lasers and thus distort their perception of range or identification. This ironically makes it appear more reflective than a typical fighter with an added iridescence, making pilot visual identification easier. It is also significantly smaller in scale, thanks to advances in its computer technology allowing for an approximate fifteen percent size reduction.

The Elite Languor is equipped internally with a small Stygium-based stealth cloaking generator which, coupled with the ceramic thrust vectors and filters, mask emissions to trace levels and make the craft almost completely transparent so that it cannot be accurately detected by sensors or visual aid. This requires a significant amount of power, however, thus weapons and targeting systems cannot be active while the cloaking generator is engaged (with the exception of the jammer pods). Stealth can be active for prolonged periods of time. Due to energy demands and general flight stability, a maximum speed of Class-3.0 can be achieved while in stealth.

Description[background=rgb(30,30,30)]: The Narran-Class was named after the draconic, metamorphic species Narran on Crystalsong. It was originally designed as an interdiction fighter to intercept and eliminate high-speed threats from long range on an interception course (as a class of turbine jet fighter had on a smaller scale millennia before). Early in development engineers realized the prohibitively large size made the craft ideal as a gunship or heavy bomber, and began immediately developing the Narran-Class for both roles. The Intercept Fighter concept was not abandoned, however, and simply reserved as the last development of the project, being renamed to "Interdictor."
The Narran-Class Drake Model was intended for the role of heavy interceptor spacecraft/interdiction fighter. Its purpose includes tactical interdiction, high-speed fighter/bomber interception and minor air-to-air defense. To facilitate this specialized role, the standard fusial engines have been replaced with Ri'essi RamDrive ion engines utilizing technology similar in functionality to SLAM, as well as the addition of two extra engines in total. The bay has forewent individual launchers for a deployable missile bay holding a mix of advanced and standard concussion warhead missiles to facilitate it's long-range role, also conserving weight and space. A single Type-A Oberon gimbal cannon is mounted in the nose for good measure.

Several years later, the Languor-Class was phased out, as the Mnenchei Dominion had joined the Galactic Republic, returning to its former state as Mnenchei Monarchy and a need to swarm starfighters diminished. In the company's expanded state, it was able to focus more time into specific improvements and upgrades, making a space superiority starfighter that was no longer easy to produce and quick to manufacture but one that was not only reliable but increasingly effective. The entire model was redesigned and officially dubbed the N-HSD (or NewCom HolographSynthetic Display) Starfighter, or the "Ri'essi Starfighter."
Improvements over the original include reorganized missile bays, change of weapons to multiple blaster cannons, consolidation of the internal ion cannon, an improved military-grade hyperdrive and an overall decrease in size and weight.

Description[background=rgb(30,30,30)]: The Eightgun project, being long past full-scale production, was a very interesting concept. One that could be adapted to the use of the Lords of the Fringe. As such, Subach engineers designed the Tetrica-class Assault Fighter. Armed with a quartet of heavy laser cannons and a chin-mounted pair of ion cannons, the Tetrica is a brawler designer to dish out and take an immense amount of punishment before going down. While quite exceptional firepower-wise, the Tetrica is admittedly somewhat lethargic and slow. One can't deny what its firepower can do, however. The antimatter reactor typically found in higher-class Subach-built fighters provides the powerplant, and as such, ships can only be manufactured if said reactors are available. Plenty are, however, proving to make the Tetrica an integral part of the Fringe fleet that will likely be utilized for quite some time. At least, until a replacement is manufactured, that is...

With the old and slow engines of the original Y-Wing not being produced anymore, the Trident has a pair of the most modern engines of its type, allowing for increased speed similar to that of an X-Wing but making the new fighter-bomber even more difficult to maneuver at top speed. Forged duranium plates are stronger than the alusteel used for armor on the original Y-Wing, but require full replacement of the panel should it be damaged. Technological advances allow for the Trident to not require an astromech droid slot. So far as shielding goes, the space saved via the removal of the rear seat's avionics, removal of the turret controls, and the shrinking of the cargo storage space allows for increased shielding compared to most craft of its type. Overall, the Trident increases the speed and protection of the Y-Wing design, but does nothing to alleviate the sluggish turning abilities, locking the ion cannons forward and reducing cargo space as well.[/font]
