Welcome to this episode of Hydiran Way News, all the news worth reporting, I'm your host Melissa Clairborne.

In a galaxy torn apart by strife, industries specializing in war material stand to make big profits. The fastest rising company among these cut throat businesses is Baktoid Industries.

*Cut to video of a beautiful red head wearing a corporate suit standing before a large glass window overlooking the ocean*

"With us today is Baktoid Industries, CEO, Ms. Alli Wren. Thank you for joining us."

"Thank you Melissa. Baktoid Industries welcomes HWN and this opportunity to speak with your viewers."

"Can you share with our viewers how did you take your company from being a relatively unknown business into one of the top 1,000 emerging businesses according to Porbes Financial?"

"Well, I just started putting innovation back into our company, My first move was to make a line of civilian use droids and vehicles. We have also offered to manufacture anything our buyers have the schematics for, which has been largely successful, in that we have even secured some contracts from the Imperial Remnant.

"As a female in a traditionally male dominated industry, what difficulties did you have to face to steer your company into the place it now occupies?

"Well, it is tough but I have worked for this position and the board has elected me as their CEO, while my father did a great job, I think I have brought a breath of fresh air, and if men have a problem with me, they don't have to do business with me or work for me. Though I do notice that there is a certain air of difference when I walk into a conference room full of men."
"What is your company's political stand to the various factions in the universe?"
"We will provide our various wares to any faction, we find it is best to stay neutral as we don't wish to limit our selves we will make things for the sith just like we would for the republic. It is a dangerous game to pick a side."
"An interesting position to take, and one I would think is treaded very lightly. I am sure you have heard the saying War is Business, and Business is good. With hostilities breaking out and open warfare occurring between the Sith and the Republic, this saying is becoming more true with every single day. How does that affect you and your company?"

"Well of course I have heard the phrase, I agree with it, I think part of the reason our company has climbed up is because we offer valuable services. While we have strict policy over our clients and who we sell to, we are happy to say that with this open warfare, everyone wants a little more protection and dealing largely in droid intelligence and such we offer a cheap solution to the lack of trained soldiers."

"There have been rumors you company has contracted the services of the shadowy Syndicate. Would you care to comment or confirm those rumors? If so, what is your relationship with them?"

"Well we would work for the syndicate if they needed but I can indeed confirm that we are not currently working with them. But as I have said before we will work with any faction or planet, and honor their individual needs with as much publicity or secrecy as they need. In fact I would like you to have your own serving droid, it is a top of the line model, It can cook, clean and do anything else you might need around the house, and even drive your speeder."

"Well that is all the time we have for now. Thank you again, Ms. Wren."

You heard it first on HWN, an exclusive look at one of the fastest rising companies in the Universe today, Baktoid Industries. Will the outbreak of violence further spur their growth? Can they walk the line and remain neutral? Do you plan to get one of their serving droids?
These questions and more will be answered by this reporter in future episodes. My name is Melissa Clairborne and this has been the Hydiran Way News.
