"Sir."
The aging pirate looked up from his desk at the Zeltron that walked into the room. It was Keys, his new Quartermaster, recently assuming the role after Jolly's takeover of the Black Market. In the Weequay's hands were documents of a recent raid that took place on Jakku. The damage was quite extensive, but there was enough that was still left to be salvaged. Plenty that would find a new home with the galaxy's wealthiest. Dropping the papers, he looked up at the man.
"What is it?"
"Reports coming from our Destrillion station...another unmet quota."
Wrinkles on the man's face began to scrunch even more in disappointment and disgust. That is the third time this cycle. If this kept up for any longer, it would not be long before his crew would not have enough resources to justify these far-reaching attacks on defenseless system. In order to make a profit, they would have to launch to planets near the Obelisks, which would risk their location being revealed.
"Send another holomessage to the foreman. If those numbers are not raised, it'll be his head on my desk."
The Zeltron stood silent for a few moments, taking in the order, before replying.
"Yes captain. This is not just taking place on Destrillion. All over the galaxy systems are running low on Tibanna. Our agents within Sith space say that Bespin is facing the exact same problem. We are not alone in this shortage. It may be time to start monitoring our supply, as well as figure out how we can 'borrow' more from others."
A few shallow nods were offered at this idea. If there truly was a Tibanna decline in the galaxy, he did not want to be on the losing end of it. They needed to act now if they wanted to make a profit.
"Have my ship warmed up. I have an old friend I need to go visit..."
