ROYAL DECREE OF HIS MAGNIFICENT MAJESTY
KING AURELIAN VERUNA II
Sovereign of Naboo, Defender of Civilization, Guardian of Good Taste, and Living Standard Against Which All Lesser Rulers Are Judged
Let it be known throughout Naboo, the Republic, and any civilized system fortunate enough to receive this proclamation that His Royal Majesty, King Aurelian Veruna II, has identified a grave injustice afflicting the galaxy. There exist countless persons of wealth, ambition, and tolerable breeding who possess no noble title whatsoever.
Such suffering can no longer be ignored. Therefore, by the unquestionable authority of the Crown, the Royal Treasury shall henceforth accept voluntary demonstrations of loyalty in exchange for elevation into the recognized nobility of Naboo.
All titles awarded under this decree shall be legitimate, registered, and recognized by the Royal Court. Recipients may display their title upon correspondence, invitations, business documents, estate gates, personal transports, and any other surface large enough to impress their neighbors.
The Royal Schedule of Contributions shall be as follows:
- 100 UCs - Knight or Dame
- The bearer shall be entitled to the honorific "Ser" or "Dame," ceremonial recognition by the Crown, and permission to speak at unnecessary length about their service to the realm.
- 250 UCs - Baron or Baroness
- The bearer shall be admitted into the lower nobility and may insist upon being introduced before persons who have contributed less.
- 400 UCs - Viscount or Viscountess
- The bearer shall receive formal recognition as a person of elevated consequence, regardless of whether they have accomplished anything to justify it.
- 600 UCs - Count or Countess
- The bearer shall enjoy full noble distinction, priority seating at selected royal functions, and the right to appear offended when addressed incorrectly.
- 800 UCs - Marquess or Marchioness

His Majesty does not sell novelty certificates, imaginary estates, or decorative scraps of parchment intended for tourists. The Crown possesses standards. Payment establishes rank but does not confer land, command authority, legislative power, immunity from prosecution, or permission to become tedious in His Majesty's presence.
Titles may be revoked for treason, fraud, public disloyalty, insulting the King's appearance, or claiming that another monarch is more impressive. All contributions shall be deposited directly into the Royal Account (
