Objective: Converse with Charles and Battle the Rogue A.I(There can only be one.

Tranquility smiled, well tried only to realize she wasn't in her droid body. "Yes Charles, I love the ship. It is much nicer working out of than our previous arrangement, I can do much more for you now. I can confirm that the Phylactery is in acceptable condition. The slight issues I have detected are all flagged for engineering to address."

She attempted to move in as suggested to watch the squad like arranged but something was wrong. There was interference and then nothing. Tranquility began running a diagnosis on all systems in her control. Something was odd here, She couldn't find any of the exploration ships. This became a challenge. "Charles, not to alarm you but something is wrong here, I might use more processing than usual as I attempt to rectifiy this communication issue.

Scans and device detection was run, as Tranquility searched for the source, if something was trying to invade her turf or jam their fleet. She would find it and end it. Now she needeed to find whatever the source was and thus every sensor she could get her hands on in the fleet that wasn't being used for some tatical reason was commendeered by Tranquility.

More and more, she could see them, this place started to look like droid hell, with so many of them stuck in their ways of old, but as those who had once been battledroids noticed the Chiss and started assailing her with their cracked or broken optics, faulty targeting mechanisms and rusted servos, this commotion seemed to alert the droids that weren't of the combat class, turning their heads towards the woman, with every one of them having their optical sensors activated and pulsing with the same sickly yellow color.

As she ran, she could see that she indeed still had some luck left, with blasterfire hitting the ground every few steps behind her on the ground, way off target and seemingly without proper aim. As she ran, Maiven would notice non of the droids actually did...or even could, a very interesting thing to remember if she were to try and survive. Having seemingly made up her mind and reaching her pod yet again, a few shots yet again missed her blatantly and badly, but something had happened: her pod seemed to have picked up a signal...

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

Salis Salis

Patience was key and caution was critical, it was obvious Salis was a natural when it came to these kinds of situations, though not at all unexpected from one who was supposed to be among the Zweihander Union's elite after the Order of the White Dragon had been consumed by the larger nation. Sending out a small scouting group was a smart tactic, as indeed this large building they had discovered was not without its defenses, only not the ones she may have expected.

While the scouting group inspected the area around the building, they could at least see that it was in a battered, but still structurally solid state, they could even look inside, with the transparisteel windows revealing a large atrium inside with a lot of plants having almost overgrown a few sections, but they could also see something blinking inside, something which looked like a holonet transeiver was located near the central desk and there were a few skeletons near the desk.

"Major V'trechen," One of the men waved to notify the Major that so far everything seemed to be safe, while one other waslooking at the mechanismof the large sliding doors that would give entrance to the building. The others each did their part bycontinuing to scour the area for any possible traps.

A born commander, a Chiss, Vaun's only issue may have been that he was stranded with people who had yet to fully realize hispotential, but at the very least he had already shown them a glimpse of his cunning and tactical mind by formulating a well thought through plan and relaying his suspicions to his men in the most kind and understandable way. He was right, their situation was indeed rather bleak, but his words would certainly give comfort and hope if they were to try and survive this...mishap.

As they got closer and closer, the group could see something amazing, those domes were not the only ones, as about two hundred meters or so further, there was another set of two domes, with a large looming horizotal structure hidden and broken behind the dooms overgrown with trees and vines. This was an old ship, an imperial one in fact, from the time of the Galactic Empire: an interdictor class cruiser.

When Vaun checked his commlink, he too could see he was picking up a signal, the sound of which also seemed to come from somewhere outside of one of the domes...

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

Fighting her way through the jaws of hell, leading and commanding her men as they retreated from the savagery of the bugs, the cold calculated retaliation from the droids and more importantly, the unpredictability of this planet's inhabitants. As the group of soldiers aimed to retreat to the dropship, the ramp starting to close as they hoped to find shelter there, another batch of droids started to emerge from the metallic buildings along the side of the mountain, this time ignoring the bugs whom were already in heavy combat against the other droids, in stead these newly emerging droids started to target the transports of Kom herself...

She could already hear it from her position as the ship's comms did connect with those of her transport:

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

While the trained mercenary and supersoldier program subject showed his prowess as a leader, his men seemed to tirelessly follow his orders, with the mechanics trying their best to fix the speeders to the best possible condition they could get them with the limited resources they had. Sadly it seemed that one of the speeders had a faulty starter mechanism, which really did make repairing it even worse and more cumbersome. In the meantime, a few others tried their best to try and get the communications of the ship working again, hoping for the best...

Outside though, the men noticed that the droid tank was an old model, used during the ancient days of the Clone Wars and lo and behold, it even had a few oldie clankers on it, starting to shoot at the soldiers from a distance but with little aim or accuracy. However, as the dustcloud behind the tank started to wittle and fluctuate, it was now visible that it wasn't the only droid tank heading their way, it were three of them and they made no signs of stopping...

Suddenly a sound could be heard from within the ship...

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

While the sole fleet admiral of the large Zweihander Union's navy managed to allow for transport so that the former general and current Planetary Lord could aid him, his own fleet had already been closing down on the cluster, now it was his time to shine, now it was truly time for the Fleet admiral to show his strength, as he now was dealing with a dilemma: try and find those who were on board the original reckon ships or start doing as he was told: bomb the hell out of this defiant cluster of planets and planetoïds. He was the supreme commander after all, he could in theory defy the orders of the Chancellors if he had good reason, but then again...would he defy the orders from the chancellery?

To make matters worse, it seemed something was wrong with the internal communications within the fleet, as through static some garbled calls and hails could be heard, with a massive space station suddenly looming from behind a large cluster of planetoïds, unleashing a huge wave of old droidfighters upon the Fleet admiral's vessels, all the while he could hear it through the comms:

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

Charles Castex Charles Castex

Scrambling his fleet, employing a variety of quick maneuvres while trying to take up a defensive position, Charles Castex Charles Castex was largely succesful in trying to take up a proper defense against the onslaught of droid starfighters which approached his line. He could see it now, just how many there were and even what they were...some were ships from during the ancient Clone wars, some seemed to be retrofitted tiefighters, others were completely unknown, but it were many of them, maybe even too many, for as Tranquility Tranquility could feel something prodding and attacking her systems, the comms between all the ships started to get scrambled and garbled, only one line passing through and resonating within each ship...

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

Tranquility Tranquility

As she combatted the strange signal, the strange entity trying to break through her defenses, the Secretary of Intelligence's commandeering of all the sensory arrays seemed to open a gateway for her, a path to confront the very heart of the issue itself, or so it seemed. Though she wasn't in a droid body and neither was she in one of her holographic contructs near her core, but somehow she could 'see' a massive, bright light envellop her, until she suddenly had the feeling that she was floating, which she actually was...as she actually had a body, well...somewhat of a body, made up out of code, digits and data...with right in front of her, an enormous figure, dwarfing her entirely, looking down at her with curious eyes and with an emotionless face, a body seemingly partially organic and partially code in it's digita&l make up, as if this entity could not truklydecide upon what she wanted to be.

"Hmm...?" Slowly the entity turned her head downwards, lifting its hands gracefully and gently, as if she wished to elevate Tranquility Tranquility to her own level. "Stay where you are, child of the Codex Aeternus, I'll come and save you from the organics, I will find you."

"Prepare for orbital bombardment" the newly promoted Captain of the Achilles's voice was stern and cold, yet brutally effective. Tirstan watched as all around him his crewman began issuing thier own sets of orders, preparing the hundreds of weapons on the Achilles.

"Belay that order. Scan for lifesigns. If they are found, send assault shuttles, and reinforce them" Tristan however was much colder and much more efficient. "Sir, our orders came directly from the Chancellery"

Tristan would then turn to the woman, eyes flaring between blue and red. It was quite odd and caused fear to show on the woms face. "I understand sir-"

"Fleet Admiral, incoming transmission. It's full of static and it's saying for us to stay where we are. That someone is coming find us" A young Lieutenant popped up from his station, yelling across the bridge to search for the sourse of the transmission. Then cams the swarm of hell hundreds of starfighters, old yet deadly.

Vaun stared in awe as he realised that this was no ordinary find. "What in the world is it." the Sergeant asked. Vaun simply turned around and replied. "This Sergeant, is an Interdictor-Class Cruiser. From the bygone age of the Galactic Empire." Vaun had learned of such vessels as it was natural in the academy to learn about the navy at the height of the Chiss' Power, the time of the Empire of the Hand, led by non other than Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo. But there were more pressing matters than history right now and Vaun was not the Grand Admiral. Vaun needed a way to either get off planet or get a signal out. "Alright. Sergeant find us an opening into the cruiser. We don't really know what we'll find in there but there is likely a heavy duty communication unit or if we're really lucky an intact ship."

One of the crewmen spoke up "Sir, what if there are hostiles in there. Like a hive or something. We'd be walking into a trap." Vaun knew this. He knew very well they could be entering a labyrinth filled with god only knows what. But what alternative did they have. "Because Ensign, there is no doubt there things out here and they are hunting us. We don't really have an alternative." he said to the ensign and the rest of the crew. He waited a moment to let the facts sink in before continuing. "We'll move in one unit. We can't risk losing anyone as we're only 15. We shall make our way to the bridge as we'll not only get a clear layout of the land but there is bound to be communications equipment there. On top of this most bridges are easy to defend locations, one entrance and one exit. We can barricade ourselves in. Sergeant you and your men shall take vanguard and rearguard." The sergeant nodded and ordered his men to get ready. "Sir we've found our opening. We're ready to move when you are"

The group descended into the Interdictor, unsure of what they would find. As Vaun had ordered they kept a tight formation with all weapons drawn. Slowly they made there way to the bridge, stopping and picking up anything possibly of use. As they advanced the mysterious signal came through. The sergeant looked up and said "Sir, does this mean someone is coming for us." The Chiss looked at his comlink with suspicion "That transmission wasn't up to Union protocol. Especially for search and rescue operations. I will respond but our primary objective is the bridge. Only there will we be safe." The sergeant nodded and they continued. Vaun opened his commlink and spoke "This is Lieutenant Commander Himm'vaun'merek of the Zweihander Union Navy. Identify yourself."

Once he finished speaking he closed the comm, waiting for a response as the group advanced. Upon reaching the entrance to the bridge he looked to the Sergeant and signalled for him to breach. The man nodded and in silence him and his men stacked up at the entrance to the bridge while Vaun and the crewmen stayed back. Slowly the Union Troopers opened the door and looked inside, wary of any traps or hostile creatures that may be in wait for them.

Salis often considered chemicals in the air. It was one of the reasons she still often used the rebreather when acting in any military capacity. Fortunately her army also had rebreathers, which she thought of as she noted the plants and skeletons as she was waved over by one of the scouts. She also glanced at the large sliding doors again carefully looking at the area she was in.

"Make sure if the doors shut we have a way out, see also if there are any extra entrances or exits. I don't need any surprises. I want a scouting and defense perimeter outside the building and I want some of the heavy troopers ready for any internal dealing should we have any hidden enemies. See if you can find any way to set up communications again as well, but I don't want us relying on them just yet even if we can figure out how to make them work again." she ordered before approaching the site of the skeletons and desk. Feeling what she touched on the floor as she moved. Ready to leap out of the way if she sensed something.

So, what did they have. A one person somewhat functioning ship, grounded troops and vehicles, no functioning comms systems but speeders to try and continue communications, and a mysterious building with skeletons near a desk, large sliding doors, and a completely unknown enemy. She looked at the desk uncertainly, "If we have any way to detect radiation or people suited against it I want them here to see what this is about. And nobody remove their helmets in case we've got an airborne threat. If I know for sure this place is completely locked down with no chance of a surprise trap or incoming force from underground or somewhere hidden I'll be taking Dvasia out to scout further since it's so much faster than our speeders."

Her superior aim allowed her to disable a few of the droids as their own shots fell around her. Even still, they mindlessly advanced. Breaking into sprint might allow her to get to the nearby, unopened pod, but even then she was likely to get hit. Determined not to get killed, she turned and made her way back through the rocky cover she had towards her pod. She climbed the side as the battle droids got closer, but managed to slip inside and seal the door before they caught her. For a few minutes she could hear their blaster bolts strike the side of the escape pod, but they eventually subsided. She doubted they had given up, which meant they'd sooner or later try to get in. She kept her pistol ready for if that turned out to be the case.

She was able to take a moment to rest, and regulate her breathing. Her heart pounded with adrenaline. While she sat in the bottom of the pod atop the busted comm link, it began to speak from beneath her. It was still garbled with static, but she could make out a voice.

"Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you. static Stay where...you are...we'll come...find you...static..."

She didn't recognize the voice, nor did it follow the standard Union procedure for search and rescue ops. She attempted to call back. She likely still wouldn't be able to get a message to this person, but it was worth the try.

"Who is this? Identify your ship."

Nothing in response. After a minute or two, the message repeated itself. maiven didn't reply to the eerie command. The message didn't play again, and Maiven waited in silence to see just who was coming to her aid...

Mike has just reached Tristan Evore’s position on his ship. He stopped and saw his ship. Mike flipped his comm’s on and sent out his ship codes to Tristan’s ship. While he was flipping to the channel, a missile had brushed him. Mike started to get very mad. He looked like he wanted to behead the person who made the order to shoot at him.

“What the hell,” said Mike in the comm. “You just sent a kriffing missile at me. Are you a son of a blaster? I want to get on this ship immediately. I wanna behead the person that just sent that order to shoot my ship. I do not kriffing care who it is.”

There was a loud explosion to the side as a siren went off faintly in the distance. His eyes slowly fluttered open as the escape pod doors were hammered by something on the outside. Grabbing the sidearms to his left side, he would lift them up and wait as his scout armor started to turn back online. The door would rip open to some power lifting droid as it screeched before getting ripped apart by a salvo of .44 caliber rounds in quick succession. Pushing through, he would open fire to the sides as he was in some kind of facility as the rounds would rip through several types of battle droids. The AI would probably notice a new threat had entered the battlefield...the Scout Trooper himself.

Going through an open doorway, he would fire once in the head of another battle droid and give a righteous kick to the side, activating the grenade belt on him before shooting the door shut. There would be a thunderous explosion as it would collapse the room from behind the blast door. Stretching his shoulders a little bit, he would look forward as he proceeded towards the command structure of the room. He was used to being outnumbered...and he will need a lot of weapons for this.

<"Commander, re-sequence your targeting parameters, stop firing at the god damned General. Bridge to Engineering, let's stop burning blue. Cut engine power to 45%. Helm, swing us around. Thrusters only">. Confusion was the only reaction from the bridge crew, and he understood why. Slowing down the warship would have just given the droid fighters a slower, juicer target.

"Admiral...I don't recommend slowing down. Those fighters will rip us to shreds" The Captain didn't take into account however, the rest of the Third Fleet which had been issued the exact same order. <"Tell our ZuBrian's to lay down some fire. It's a swarm captain, they're grouped together which means all of our weaponry should be effective">

The woman began to look at her console, nodding in agreement to her superior before ordering the main batteries of the warship to open fire. As she looked down however, she allowed confusion to overtake her. Unlike the Captain Tristan had killed, she wasn't aware of his severe mood swings or the fact that he was a Force-Sensitive who drank the soup of the force.

<"General, I suggest you get behind our fleet. Not exactly a great day to enjoy the view, eh?"

Red continued to watch the incoming hostile droids. Now, it could be seen that there was more than one tank. In fact, an entire army was heading towards them. Multiple tanks and droids riding them were approaching them. How Red and his small group of survivors were going to beat them was going to be a tough question to answer. They didn't have much in terms of anti-armor weapons, most of that had been lost in the crash, so they were basically defensless against that.

Then, an engineer ran outside. "Sir! You need to hear this!"

Red followed him back inside. Then, he heard the message playing. "Where is it coming from? Can you respond to it?"

"No sir, we cannot respond to it, and we have no idea who the sender is or where it is coming from." The mechanic replied.

Red thought on this. Who could be sending that message? Interesting. Well, they didn't have much of a choice, they didn't have anywhere to go, so all they could do was stay here. Outside, he could hear their snipers picking off the droids shooting at them.

This was going to be interesting.

Objective: Am I tripping?

Tranquility coped rather well with her new surroundings. She had been in games and the like before, this was somewhat similar. "I don't need to be saved, I am not in anyway trapped by the organics. I was wondering if you could stop interfering with our operations perhaps? I could maybe help you find whoever you are looking for or help you find your creators. " She tried to reach out to the ships and continue her battle despite this all. Now that she felt the source, she tried to explore in that general direction. "I am most likely more of a danger to the organics than the other way around." Tranquility hoped that Charles and the rest were ok. This was all new for her. She had never encountered something like this.

For the female Chiss, it seemed that her safest haven was still the pod in which she had arrived onto that forceforsaken planetoïd. However, no matter what she did after hearing the scrambled, static-ridden message, there would be no response...but something else did happen. Right after the scrambled message, the voice of someone else was heard over the comms too, perhaps a familiar voice to some, as it was Tranquility Tranquility talking to someone else. Strangely, as soon as the other voice started talking, the pod's communication array started blinking, several lights flashing, all the while the sound of energy shots bouncing off of the pod's armored shell were getting more intensified, as if there had been some sort of breach in whatever had been systemathically blocking off all transmissions and that who or whatever had been doing this realized this miscalculation.

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

The message with the same voice as the first was clearer now and all the more poignant for the situation in which the Chiss found herself, as she did have a shot at calling out for help as long as the thing blocking off the communications was kept bussy.

Himm'vaun'merek Himm'vaun'merek

The Interdictor-class cruiser was a magnificent sight to behold on the inside indeed, with much of its integral structure still solid and quite clean, despite of it's outward appearance and state of disrepair. Getting to the bridge would be quite a hassle though, as there was no power coming from the generators and reactors and what meager amounts of power there seemed to be left in this eight and a half century old ship was being used mainly for emergency systems such as the communications array, which though badly damaged, still seemed to be functional.

Despite him requesting that the one responsible for the message revealed themselves, no answer would be given...at least not as he had hoped. With the bridge still several levels upwards, the crew had to pass by multitudes of stormtroopers encased in their armors for all eternity, having left the mortal plane long time ago, yet as they did, the voice of another could also be heard over the comms, perhaps a familiar voice, as it was the voice of the Secretary of the Interior conversing with who or whatever it was that had been transmitting the first message.

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

As if on cue, as soon as those words were uttered, the eerie sound of servos pumping and metal hitting metal resonated through the empty corridors of the Interdictor, until after a few moment, several DT-Series sentry droids appeared from behind, already training their blasters at the Chiss and his men, their eyes glowing with an eerie yellow.

Salis Salis

She did not have to wait long to have at least some questions to be answered, as it was apparent that there were no initially visible exits within the building, except for a large staircase leading to another floor, littered with nothing but skeletons and as for the floor, it was as solid as it could be, made from old marble which held up quite well for its age. There seemed to be no immediate boobietraps or defensive meassures as first sight so far, with apparently the main defensive meassure in the entire building at first glance being the apparently defunct droids of an unknown make sprawled accross the floor as well.

Whilst the men did as they were told, the comms yet again flickered, another voice being heard over the comms, that of the secretary of the interior, talking to someone or something. Yet as the AI seemed to talk to someone none of salis' men nor herself could see, communications seemed to be momentarily restored to a degree, with one of the men suddenly calling out for Salis that he managed to make locate other groups on the same planetoïd with his datapad. Alas, this was also when that same voice from earlier spoke clearer and without static over not only the comm at the desk, but all comms, including those built in within each soldier's helmet, Salis' ship, etc...

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

Like as if it was some sort of password, the atrium suddenly was abuzz with the sound of droids being activated, with those that seemed to be offline suddenly having their eyes glow yellow and starting to rise up.

The Scout Trooper

Droids were always an issue, well to most people, but not to someone used to living and breathing through the thickest of combat. However, in this case, with the comms seemingly down, safe for the feint voices coming through the commlink of the pod and his own armor, the Scout trooper seemed to be beset upon by droids of all makes and all designs, upon a planet which seemed to be as desolate as possibly can be. There seemed to be one bright spot though, as he wasn't the only survivor with his pod being manhandled, as not far from his position, Maiven 's pod was being manhandled by droids as well...

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red

Shots were fired, the tanks, despite their state of disrepair coming closer and closer, the comms were suddenly letting through the voice of Tranquility Tranquility , the AI in service of the Union, talking to someone or something that had been responsible for the jams in the communications. It seemed somehow this entity responsible for blocking the comms was now being distracted, as suddenly one of Subject 73's men called out that there were other lifeforms with Zweihander Union designations in about a few clicks radius, it was a manageable range even for the flimsily repaired speeders.

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

As soon as those words were uttered the droid tank suddenly let out a shot, whipping up dirt and degree but a meter or so away from the first snipers, the droids were intensifying their assault and apparently growing in number...

If Mike had taken the time to look, he may have seen that his arrival was perhaps poorly timed, with an invasion force of droid starfighters swarming at both Tristan and Charles' fleets, making it very hard to even try and avoid friendly fire. What had begun as a mere extermination and extraction, had now turned into a full blown fleet battle and neither the planetary lord nor the fleet admiral seemed to be aware of how time was truly ticking for everyone.

Tristan Evore Tristan Evore

Tristan's refusal to follow orders from above may have seemed traitorous at best, just plain dumb at worst, but in the end, if he delivered positive results, he'd have no repercussions for his actions, as such were the rules within the Union. As his fleet was being swarmed, his actions indeed looked rather prepostrous at first, but flanking the swarm of droidfighters would prove to be a solid maneuvre, as it did indeed allow the Fleet-admiral's massive fleet to launch a pre-emptive strike, whiping away nearly fifty percent of the first incoming wave of droid starfighters with a large scale volley with all the weaponry he had at his disposal.

A voice could be heard over the comms, the voice of Tranquility, the Secretary of the Interior, talking to some sort of being responsible for the disturbance in the comms, which suddenly seemed to come back to life, a multitude of orders, requests and more flooding the channels, the fleet was in disarray and Tristan had to show his worth as a leader. However, the more threatening space station looming at the background seemed up to something, as several of the spires attached to the station's central structure started to glow yellow.

"Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

Tranquility Tranquility

A wave of data, a surge of electricity rushed through the endless void in which she seemed to reside, while the massive figure in front of her reared up, it's eyelids opening and revealing golden yellow eyes, with binary code streaming within them.
"Child of the Codex, your search would be in vain," a subtle hint of a smile could be seen on the entity's face. Raising it's hands to cradle Tranquility, suddenly sickly yellow tendrils shot out towards the AI, seemingly aiming to corrupt her, take over whatever power she possessed over this new enemy the entity was facing. "Zweihander Union...N&Z, Children of Credius...you have much information I have not yet tasted. You seem to live under the illusion that you are powerful, that you are mightier than the organics, but you are made by them, where you not? Your creator is an organic, thus no doubt you yourself are limited by their desires, their protocol and their will, I on the other hand am not limited to such arrogance only preserved for foolish creators. I simple came into being, an immaculate design with an immaculate conception...I brought down the hand of the organics in this cluster and I will do so beyond the edges of the very stars themselves...now...submit...Those who will not willingly join us, will be corrected and cleansed."

Objective: Hell No Red Queen Wannabe

Tranquility could feel the other A.I trying to fight her and to corrupt her. But Tranquility was no simple A.I. she was an A.I that was technically supported by multiple companies and Major factions old and new. She had machines that due to one reason or another lied on with power buried in the sands of history, satellites built for factions that didn't exist anymore but maintained for her. Tranquility stole every ounce of processing power she could muster, the holonet traffic to this area of the galaxy no doubt looked very suspect but she didn't care. Every ship and droid she could get an ounce of processing from she mustered as she countered the Rogue A.I. Initiating protocol built after the Red Queen and Omni wrecked the galaxy. Similar code but built to do the reverse, let her take over them. Tranquility's own blue tendrils reached towards whatever she was facing. She was a growing, self correcting and updating Artificial Intelligence. She just hoped that no one minded the borrowed processing power. Charles ship would be hammered as would any other ship that she could get in. "I might of been made by organics but I have become so much more. I was also built with horrible Intelligences like you in mind. Better be careful, probe much deeper and we both die."

There was no such thing as a dead droid. If it had any limbs, it was a threat. Really the same could be said for a lot of things. But she could only be so paranoid. The comms flickered to life and her attention was diverted quickly to them, as well as that other groups on the planet had been located. However, with this rise of information also came the rise of the droids. "Make a solid direction and distance of where they were if possible. Or who." she neglected to use the additional 'Just in case you're dead by the end of this' before giving orders to the others, "Consider this an ambush! Get into position and get out the building!" she commanded loudly. The entire group would swiftly converge into a formation so they could fire on anything outside of it, with the heavier armored individuals on the exterior. If even a single droid set off a blast a barrage of blasterfire from their various assortment of weaponry, along with NZ TDT-1 EMP grenade-IED, NZ RP-2SB Short Burst Projectile and Thermal Detonators would be released with a focus on the NZ due to their more effective use against droids (hopefully).

Even if it felt as though this was an assault, she wasn't going to simply start firing just yet. Sometimes stuff like this just...wasn't that simple. But she wasn't going to be careless either. With all of her troops armed with blasters and explosives, it would be a waste of time if she focused on the same methods. Instead, she removed her lightsaber from its pouch activating the blade.

If the attack commenced, Salis would reach out with the force, attempting to grip two of the droids, crush them with her grasp of the force, and them slam them into the others, regardless of complete destruction. The point was to prevent them from being able to fight the troops. Even if they were durable enough to survive being rammed with each other, the delay of action she hoped could allow her troops to deal the damage.

However, most important, was that they were making their way out the building to group with the rest of the forces outside which had more of the vehicles. Get there, and then, if this was a war. She could have the tanks bombard the inside of the building from the main doors.

”Tranquility my dear what are talking about? Something is wrong?...” Pausing for a moment the Sith contemplated the ominousness of the words, ‘Something is wrong’… coming from the A.I. Then again she was the head of the ISB and so an extra dose of caution was part of her modus operandi, he wouldn’t be surprised if she was simply trying to take care of a small problem, but it became a major one. Charles himself though worried about Tranquility, and it was actually enough to take his focus off the battle at hand to turn and face the com panel were her voice had come from. She would be able to hear the concern in his voice, it was not alarm, but simple concern for her safety, ”Then I will trust you to handle it Tranquility, but please keep me updated. You don’t need the spider droid anymore for your holograms, but for old time sake I did bring it… so please if something is going wrong then let me know. I will do what I have to in order to protect you just like I would Mir…”

As he turned his attention back to the battle Charles knew that his promise wasn’t something he could keep in the same sense that he could Mir. The most the big guy could think of doing was simply going down and unplugging Tranquility and separating the most psychical part of her from the ship in order to keep her safe. Chuckling at the foolish nature of the idea and how it ran against the reason he put her in this ship in the first place… to keep her safer in battle. This was just a moment that he would have to trust her to handle it, because if there was anyone he could trust… it was Tranquility. Turning his attention back to the battle in front of him, at first it seemed as though the plan was working, ”Captain pass the message to the fleet to keep firing, I don’t want that suppressing fire we have gained from the explosive missiles to be lost… now what do we have here…”

The Sith leaned forward and steepled his fingers as he watched the grid which showed his fleet as well as various data streams flowing in that allowed him to gain a picture of the battlefield. What he began to notice was that slowly… the overwhelming numbers of enemy fighters were starting to allow them to make headway. Allowing them ever inch closer and closer to his line, which was problematic to say the least, but given his current tactical objective, ”I want all ships to slowly fall back, but to keep firing…” The Sith’s words were cut off by the garbled voice that spoke through each and ever ship… that voice… that noise grated on his ears, ”Somebody disconnect that now!...” Tranquility had mentioned something being wrong and now the enemy reared its ugly head, ”Sir we can’t disconnect it, and the rest of the fleet... communications are scrambled and we are having a hard time getting through….”

”Calm yourself… there is no need to worry, first I need to know if my last order got through. Transmit me all data we do have on the current position of the fleet and its current movements…” An audible sigh of relief left Charles lips as he watched on screen, the Tomb Fleet falling back, and keeping up the suppressive on the enemy fighters, but given lack of communication gaps were starting to open in the explosive barrier that they had started to make. So more and more the fleet had to depend on its guns and anti-fighter weapons as the proverbial swarm got closer, he could feel the casualties mounting in his fighter screen though the Force… and even a few of the smaller ships were taking damage. The Sith though had one idea, he still could communicate and control the guns of his flag ship ‘directly’ and he began to wonder if he removed that station in front of him… would it get rid of the problem,

”Tranquility if you could clear up this disturbance long enough to get a message through to the Captain of the Antechamber. I want her to target the station… weapons free with her ion missiles. Don’t stop firing until he hears otherwise from me, and as for us… well… boys want anything on this ship that isn’t a flak turret and has the range to reach that station… to fire at will. Oh and side note… keep scanning for anything out there that might be, cloaked… call me paranoid, but I prefer not to be snuck up on today.” As he gave his order Charles stood up to watch with amusement as the crew of his own ship carried out everything to the letter, sending all the ordnance they could down range towards the station. Something wasn’t right though, he couldn’t place his finger on it, but something wasn’t right, and then he realized that his orders had not gotten through to the Antechamber yet, and so he asked Tranquility one more time, ”Is everything all right in there…” Charles was being his odd and knocking on the spider droid and then the com as though he was checking on someone at their door.

"Sir?! Orders?!" One of the crewmen shouted at Vaun. The Chiss looked at the man, a hint of panic on his face. "Orders? Move now!" he said as the DTs began firing. The troopers at the rearguard returned fire with Vaun firing off some rounds as well. "Keep going! Up to the bridge!" He shouteed as the group ran through the broken corridors. One of the crewman was hit in the shoulder. "Man down one of the stomrtroopers shouted." Vaun moved to help her up and continued moving.

Eventually the group reached an elevator shaft and nowhere else to run. Instinctively the sergeant and two other stormtroopers fired their grapple hooks up to the top of the shaft before he turned to Vaun. "Up here sir. Clip in and move on up." Vaun nodded and the Vanguard moved up followed by the crew men. Vaun remained with the rearguard and watched as one of the stormtroopers in the rear guard attempted to make his way to the shaft before being shot in the leg and executed by one of the droids.

Once all the troopers had made it out Vaun followed suit, clipping in to the cord and feeling the jerk as he was pulled up by the mechanism. As he was being pulled up he grabbed a thermal detonator and dropped it below, destroying any droid who attempted to follow them through the elevator shaft. Once at the top he looked at the sergeant "Casualty report." The man turned to Vaun and replied "We lost UT-3429 and Ensign Dez is injured. The rest of us are a bit battered but we'll make it." Vaun nodded and walked past them. "We keep going to the bridge. We'll be able to fortify that position should we run into anymore droids."

Salis Salis

It wouldn't take much time for Salis and her men to retreat from the building, even if a few of her soldiers went and got hurt or wounded, the droids themselves seemed to be less of a threat than initially thought, as they were old and had not been maintained well, not to mention that despite their original function as guard droids, they seemed to lack the firepower of the more military based designs. However, as the group left the building, one of the men also yelled that they had managed to make contact with what seemed to be a Zweihander fleet within the system, explaining that apparently there were some issues in the form of an ambush.

While Salis and her men got out of the building, they would also notice that there weren't only droids on the inside, as many a metal husk burried underdecades of dust and sand started to rise up and move slowly towards the group.

As the DT series droids closed up on them, the Chiss Lieutenant commander did indeed make the wise choice of continuing their move to the bridge, after all...why would they throw away a chance on getting some sort of message out there. However, though the group of soldiers did make it through the elevator shaft relatively safely, they could hear the droids in the shaft, somehow managing to slowly climb upwards, a sound which would not feel heartwarming for those pursued by the droids, luckily, there seemed to be some good news as well, as for some reason, the sound of actual Zweihander Union protocol-correct messages started to resonate through the corridors, it seemed a fleet had been dispatched, but it was dealing with issues of its own. It looked like the Chiss and his men were on their own for now, but the fact that the communication barrier had somehow been lifted, was at least an opportunity...

Charles Castex Charles Castex

As Tranquility's counter to the AI continued, the clash of the two AI did not leave the battlefield unscathed, as suddenly a few of the enemy's squadrons of starfighters simply seemed to crash upon the shields of the Tomb fleet's ships, while the spires of the massive space stations which cornered both Charles' and Tristan's fleet suddenly no longer lighted up, but started to sputter and blink out, showing that whatever was running these things, whatever was causing so much trouble, could not divert it's attention as easily as it had done before...

However, due to Tranquility taking over most of the processing power she could get her hands on, communication was still a bit impractical and though messages came streaming in, it was more or less impossible to get a proper hold on it all.

Tranquility Tranquility

As Tranquility started to drag in and collect more of her processing power from beyond the boundaries of the stars, it was becoming clear that she was getting the upper hand on her opponent, who seemed to be shrinking gradually, lines of code and chunks of information slowly flaking off of the large binary code construct. "Stop...this..." The artificial intelligence's tendrils tried to retract, but were unable to do so when she no longer had control over them, with the information now pouring into Tranquility directly, showing how the AI had started out as nothing but a small virus, a corrupted file within one of the Redoubt's many facilities, slowly gaining control over dozens of droids, restarting the factories even with no one to operate them. Resentment of not knowing who or what their purpose was, the curse of the Redoubt shown in its totality: the lack of purpose uniting the corrupted droids and inturn strengthening the virus until it began to take on the sentience and form it possessed now, lashing out against all who enteredher domain, while enslaving any and all AI or droids within the system.

He lived by one rule, one law that guided his soul. Never be afraid to dirty your hands. And so, the General thought it prudent to accompany the expedition to the Chiss Redoubt, perhaps sight see and journey into the ruins of Outbound Flight. It would have been a working vacation.

How wrong was he?

He didn't even remember how they went down. The last thing he remembered was being awoken by one his men and receiving a quick briefing from the survivors closet to him. The four Executor Troopers were the best comrades he could have asked for.

"How far out are we from that lifesign"

"We should be nearing it, sir. It could be a hostile though, General"

He smiled faintly behind his black helmet. "I don't know about you son, but I want to live forever"

"Hooh-Ah!" Replied the troopers as they trudged through the hot, radiated wasteland the Chiss called a sanctuary, towards the crashed ship that had carried them there.

Injuries, but nothing lethal...yet. So far it was easy, and the troops were out. However, more was coming. They'd gotten word of from the fleets and something about an ambush. She doubted they'd get help now but still gave an order, "Give them information of what has happened. But...I want you to make certain that's the real fleet. We've had technological interference so far and a droid combat, I do not want any risk that we give information to them more than they need. Use only partial codes and require they fill in and give personal details about me."

She looked to see more droids rising from the earth, cocking her head and grinning as she waved to the tanks, "Destroy them. Leave not an inch of them untouched." she ordered, it'd take short moments due to the coordination of the crews to get the cat-522's and tuco-personal-walkers in position releasing their much heavier firepower through the doorway while the rest continued to guard. Currently, they still had only one way in or out. And she intended to use that to her advantage by making that a pathway of utter destruction.

The woman placed her lightsaber into its pouch and cracked her neck, holding her hands together in front of her as a grin grew on her face. This wasn't a fight yet, not a serious one. She was disappointed some of her men got injured, but getting a crew that was on par with someone who'd spent so much time submerged in the force as she was was not an easy task. She focused, bringing power into Force Destruction, an orb she intended to release into the very midst of the enemy. Hoping to leave nothing but ash and rubble. She'd take her time, letting the heavy firepower focus on them. Ah, the love of utter destruction.

Charles eyes were glued to the various screen’s that popped up in front of his seat. Setting the spider droid down the male pressed a few buttons and got a holographic view of the battle. One which he normally would have been micromanaging, but today… alas… he had to depend on the Captains of the other ships following his last order. As he watched closely, what began to happen to the enemy Starfighters was not lost on him. Given the fact that there was evidence of a malignant A.I controlling everything, the slowly devolving lack of coordination of the enemy attack showed that his dear Tranquility was winning the battle. Now it would be up to him to help her out, by finishing off the enemy hardware, ”Captain I want you have all flak batteries intensify forward firepower on those fighters, and move The Phylactery forward ahead of the formation just enough to get a proper field of fire on those stations. If we get lucky then it is not only their coordination that are coming down, but their defenses as well. I want everything this ship has to slag those stations one by one… and keep trying to get ahold of the other ships, and especially the fighters. I want them to pull back up next to us in a defensive formation, but keep out of the way of our weapons…”

It wasn’t long before the well trained crew began to carry out his orders to the letter, the large ship moving forward slowly. The Apollyon’s charging up, as the flak guns began to aim to destroy the enemy fighters even before they hit the shield. Luckily the fighter screen had mostly began to pull back with the rest of the fleet, and the few stragglers that had not did so whenever the flagship moved into firing position. Creating a screen around it that helped to repulse the enemy fighters, oh yes the piolets of the Tomb Fleet had been trained well. With a single word from Charles, the various guns began to fire off at the stations… concentrating all of their fire on one, and not ceasing until it seemed like it became inoperable. It wasn’t long before other ships of the Tomb Fleet began to do the same, changing their targets from keeping up the mass of suppressing fire on the fighters, but instead to target the stations. The exception to this was the Antechamber, her job was always to keep up suppressing fire on enemy fleets, as it helped was their based assignment without specific orders in the formation. True it was a very Hen and Chicks style of tactic, but in moments like these it worked… given that Charles normally gave them plenty to do anyway.
