OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create with the next line of Power Armor, GS-1
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Automatic Ballistic Pistol
  • Size: Average
  • Weight: Average
  • Ammunition Type: .44 Mag (Variations: Hollowpoint, Armor Piercing)
  • Ammunition Capacity: Large (20 x 2)
  • Effective Range: Average
  • Rate of Fire: Very High
  • Stopping Power: Very High
  • Recoil: Extreme
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Ammo Counter: On top shows the amount of bullets still left in the magazine and if the chamber is loaded.
  • On-Pistol Computer Hookup: When connected to the GS-1 Power Armour, it reads out information and allows a user to quickly diagnose issues as well as possible travel of the bullet.
STRENGTHS
  • Smart Pistol: When hooked up to the GS-1 Power Armour, the entire pistol along with condition, ammo count, ect can be seen. This is extremely handy during a fight as it reads out temperature and possible damage to the LeVines themselves, even allowing remote reload procedures.
  • Raging Bulls: Fast Rate of Fire along with high stopping power is enough to tear through most foes in a few shots, if one has the proper bullet choice.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Semi-Automatic Mode: One has to be very careful when pulling the trigger to just get one bullet off. More than likely, three bullets will come out instead of one.
  • Extreme Kickback: Not only is the stopping power and rate of fire high, but so is the recoil to the point that if you are not wearing the GS-1 Power Armour, they will most likely fly out of your hands unless you are an extremely strong person.
  • EMP Susceptible: If an EMP goes off, the entire weapon will shut down save for firing the weapon. It takes several seconds for the small computer to reboot to even allow a person to reload.
  • Where Is Suit?: If the GS-1 Power Armour is not equipped, the on-board computer refuses to work for anyone and reduces the effectiveness of the entire Levines to simply firing and manual reloading.
DESCRIPTION
A unique problem was presented to the Dreadnought Power Armour corporation. A gunslinger was trying to use power armour in a duel and with no surprise, failed with such miserable attempts, got wounded in the duel then later got shot outside a local pub. The Scout Trooper realized the problems of having anyone use a set of bulky power armour for those who wish to move around quickly and thus, decided to go through the production of the GS-1 Power Armour...but first had to make the right set of weaponry for it. Finding some old metals, he worked on the ballistic side as he noted most wish to count the ammo and with it, an On-Pistol Computer Hookup was established with programming code being wrote out by other technicians.

An Ammo Counter was added as an afterthought on top of them, as if it was really needed though he wondered about it as a just in case. When it was finished, it was tested with a regular suit of power armour as it quickly flew out of its grip, showing that it had a high recoil as well as stopping power...the paper in front of it being completely destroyed. Further tests were done as they realized what the Scout Trooper done. If something was needing to be killed, it would be from a .44 Mag caliber bullet as it kept putting larger exit holes in their gel test dummies. Overall, due to the nature of these pistols as well as why they were being made, only five sets were produced and shall remain as such as the GS-1 Power Armour was still in production, now looking forward to adding two more to the project.

No Single Action Mode: One has to be very careful when pulling the trigger to just get one bullet off. More than likely, three bullets will come out instead of one.
The correct term you are looking for here is "Semi-automatic" where whenever you pull the trigger one time, it fires one bullet.

Extreme Kickback: Not only is the stopping power and rate of fire high, but so is the recoil to the point that if you are not wearing the GS-1 Power Armour, they will most likely fly out of your hands unless you are an extremely strong person.
Can you please removed the usage of the word "Extreme" from this weakness, as you do not have your Recoil rating at the "Extreme" rank. This is simply incorrect and completely misleading to the reader/user.

Changed to Semi-Automatic in wording.

Actually planned for it to be either Very High or Extreme. So I just ended up making it Extreme after a small conversation with one of the local shooters showing me how an automatic pistol fires. Recoil is now changed to Extreme.
