  • Name: Zoar
    Aliases: Z-4
Faction: Galactic Alliance, New Jedi Order
    Rank: Jedi Padawan
    Homeworld: Denon

    Species: Miln
    Age: Mid-Late Teens
    Gender: Male
    Height: 2’5’’
    Weight: Light

    Voice Claim: Jacob Hopkins
    Text Color: #F365D0

    Appearance:
Zoar is rarely ever seen by his fellow Jedi, instead hiding within power armor, or staying to the shadows as much as he can. But if one were to catch a brief glimpse of the Miln, they might notice his splotched grey and white fur that covers his body, or his large, expressive black eyes, often flecked with fear or unease. More attentive viewers might see his long rat-like tail often coiled close to his body, or the bowl-shaped ears flicking for any hint of danger. Only the most observant would see the sleek, elegant technical implants ringing his cheeks and back of his head, glowing and beeping in time with his thoughts.

  • Biography:
Denon can be a cruel place for a child to grow up.

The Miln couple knew that, yet they sold their baby to the Metalheads anyways, to pay off old debts. This group of cybernetically-inclined gangsters and thugs were paying big money for children. It had been too good for them to pass up.

Having collected dozens of children for their nefarious purposes, the Metalheads attempted to implant each of them with cranial cybernetics. Not many survived. The Miln child was one of them. It was then, and only then, that he was given a designation; Z-4.

Z-4 grew up in a lab, never leaving a single room for years. He was used by the Metalheads exclusively as a remote slicer. Working with technology became second-nature.His first language was Binary. Plugging into the Holonet became more natural than being disconnected from it.

Knowing nothing else, Z-4 completed every task set before him with flying colors. Even among the Next Gen Slicers, he excelled. He always seemed to stumble upon valuable information, or take a lucky guess on how to bypass a security lock that stumped the others. Due to his talent, he was given more freedom than the others, surfing the Holonet for information the gang could use.

When he was ten, the Force guided him to the personal communicator of a Jedi. On a whim, he reached out, and asked for help. A few hours later, klaxons began going off in the lab, and a Jedi came bursting in, freeing all of the children, and taking the Force-sensitive Z-4 to Coruscant for healing, and eventually, training in the Jedi way.

Z-4, or Zoar, as he had decided to call himself, was a hermit of a youngling, despite the best efforts of his instructors, and his fellow students. Often found crawling in the walls of the Jedi temple, optimizing systems and repairing infrastructure, Zoar attempted to make up for his social deficiencies by being a silent helper. His aversion to people was what inspired him to make his first power-suit, so he could train alongside his fellow younglings. This left plenty of onlookers wondering why they saw a large droid training to be a Jedi.

After years of Jedi training, Zoar has managed to pass his trials to become a Padawan (finally getting a crystal from his Gathering after the third attempt), and while he is certainly unorthodox in his style, this little mouse has the heart of a Jedi.

  • Strengths and Weaknesses:

+Miln Physiology- As a Miln, Zoar is dexterous, a quick study, and particularly resistant to poisons.
+Ingenious- In absence of any incredible Force abilities, combat prowess, or friends, Zoar leans on what he knows; creating things. He is a savant when it comes to mechanics and electronics, assisted by technical implants.
+Force Specialization: Technopathy- Through his own training and natural proclivities towards the Force, Zoar quickly picks up skills that involve using technology.

-Scurry, Sniff, Flinch- There are downsides to being Miln; specifically, he is rather small (he’s on the tiny side, even for Miln) and has an unreasonably strong fear response, which he has to work to suppress.
-Tech-Reliant- Zoar’s focus on technology has left him unable to function without it. Get him away from his toys, and he won’t know what to do.
-I Love When it Rains- Zoar has an immense fear of open spaces, and people seeing him. This has turned him into a bit of a recluse, who is deeply unsettled in the presence of people unless within a power-armor suit.
